Sorry but the anti-mason poison is far too TOXIC for my gentle spirit!

You made 132 posts since you joined a month ago. I'd say you talk more than you let on.

And you signed up specifically to protect the Masons?

I wouldn't say snakes have a gentle spirit. They are cold, and slithery.

Yep, its a bit annoying, as I think he / she / it is a funny and amusing entity, with some provoking thoughts but when you get a thread linkbombed it just makes you want to skim right through thereby missing a real gem that has been dropped in.

Be careful about what you say about LinkBomber or you might get a temporary ban like I did. It's a very touchy subject for some on this site

My ban finnished about a month ago and then I was away in Greece for a few weeks. I see the same old shite keeps getting posted by the anti's and the weirdo's!

Didn't know you'd been banned!
So were you punished for expressing the free speech that they are supposedly supporting here?
Sounds like a conspiracy to me.
Obviously linkbomber is one of tptb and very high up in the illuminati.

A beautiful place in North Corfu between Roda and Acharavi. I've been goin there on and off for the last 15 years or so. Been to about 10 different Greek Islands and love them all. Corfu however is my favourite.

Was going to try and attend a Masonic meeting in Corfu Town at the Rudyard Kipling lodge but they break in early June until September.

I had a villa for a week that faced Albania, last year.

Took a lovley boat trip with 'Cap'n John'.......Which was fine as long as you stayed up wind of him......

Went into the Bank museum in Corfu town, which was interesting - to me.

Gerry Durrells old gaff, nice restaurant now, etc etc.

Love it there, the Greeks are lovely people, unlike the Spanish they still appreciate that tourism is an important part of their economy.

The goat-riding ritual symbolizes Man mastering his lower nature. This is clearly stated by M. P. Hall in "The Occult Anatomy of Man". Similar symbolism can be found in both Christianity (Jesus rides a donkey upon entering Jerusalem) and Islam (in the Sufi tradition, in various anecdotes involving Nasreddin Hodja).

Default Riding the Goat, an American tradition.

This is quite bizarre. I must say I have never encountered anyone who has ridden a goat (synthetic or otherwise), either in a ritualistic context or in a jovial one. Shriners might do such a thing but that is conjecture at best!

This is true. It is the equivalent of the Tarot card ‘strength’. The goat has greater symbolism [see: Makara].

Surprised to see masons here quite open about it. Since you are here, and this is a question to masons only, what do you say are the true origins of freemasonry?

You may want to start a new thread for that question. In which case I'd contribute.

Also, you do realise that some Masons may not reply if they don’t want to be revealed as a Mason? This has nothing to do with secrecy and instead to do with privacy.

Our legend takes us to King Solomon, but there exist manuscripts in which we officially started in York. There are some who will say we came from the Mystery Schools of Babylon or Egypt. Some say Knights Templar infiltrated us after their fall from grace. All fanciful theories, impossible to prove.
