Default Yet another bus crash according to the BBC/MSM

Quote:

Coventry bus crash: Eight hurt as double-decker hits supermarket

Eight people were injured when a double-decker bus hit a number of cars before crashing into a supermarket in Coventry city centre, police say.

The bus struck a number of stationary cars and a lamp-post in Hales Street before crashing into Sainsbury's, in Trinity Street, at 18:00 BST.

West Midlands Police said three people were seriously injured and five others had minor injuries.

A number had been trapped on the bus's top deck, the force said.

Road closures and a police cordon are in place.

West Midlands Ambulance Service said five people were taken to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire and a child was taken to Birmingham Children's Hospital.

Two people were assessed and discharged at the scene, the service said.

A Sainsbury's spokeswoman said: "I can confirm that earlier this evening a bus mounted the pavement in Trinity Place, stopping when it made contact with the store.

"We can confirm that we have no colleagues injured. We are working on the ground with the emergency services."

The spokeswoman confirmed the store had been open at the time of the crash but was unable to say whether any customers had been injured.

I can drive a bus and I can tell you it is actually possible to crash a bus. And it does happen in real life

It's called Stagecoach because they apparently keep being asked to Stage crashes.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england...shire-34436360

The appearance of the Air Ambulance is a big give-away that this is staged - it would be quicker to take a bus to hospital in Coventry from there.

Good old witness Maneer Fiaz -
Quote:
"trying to record everything that I could get"

Quote:
Bystanders tried to rescue children who were trapped under the seats on the top deck of the bus.
Maneer Fiaz was getting some food from a shop opposite when he heard a "loud bang" and saw people running to the scene.
He told Sky News: "I came outside the shop and saw the bus was smashed into the cashpoint. I ran towards the driver and he was surprisingly alive.
"People were trying to get the driver out. The kids were trapped underneath the seats upstairs. It was absolute chaos.
"We got the driver out through the window."
sounds like a drill

A child is among those injured after a double-decker bus crashed into a supermarket in Coventry, ambulance officials have said.
West Midlands Ambulance service said the child was taken to Birmingham Children's Hospital after the crash into Sainsbury's in Trinity Street.
Five others have been taken to University Hospital Coventry.

The boy was travelling on the top of the bus and died at the scene as a result of his injures.
The woman, who is believed to be from Nuneaton and aged in her 70s, was walking along the street at the time of the crash.
Five other people, including a nine-year-old girl, suffered minor injuries and are receiving hospital treatment. One further person was treated and discharged at the scene, police said.
So the child was
a) taken to Birmingham Children's Hospital
b) died at the scene in Coventry.

Here's another Staged [coach] drill in Coventry, 2012

1) The 2 statements aren't in compatible
Where else do yo think they should would they take him, for Autopsy, coroners report and formal ID (if required).

2) Air Ambulance - You have a great deal of ignorance as regards the role of air ambulance.
It isn't always used to save time, sometimes its used for injuries where road travel may make things worse.
Not all casualties go to the nearest hospital some are sent to specialist types Air Amb can speed up that process.
Air Ambulance has a doctor on board, so whilst it may not be required for transfer it can provide a medical team to the scene.

They also have a couple of 4x4s so they can get a team out in poor conditions if the helicopters grounded.

A nine-year-old girl is also seriously ill in hospital, while six others, including the bus driver, were hurt.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said the nine-year-old girl had injuries to her face, head and right leg and suspected chest, abdominal and pelvic injuries. She remains in a critical but stable condition at Birmingham Children's Hospital.

Five people were treated at University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire - the bus driver, a man in his 50s, with neck and shoulder injuries; a man in his 20s with a broken arm; a man with a minor leg injury; a woman in her 60s with leg and arm injuries, and a man with a minor injury. Another person was treated at the scene.

That's why the emergency services have drills, so that when something happens they are well prepared and know what to do.

Let's hope a REAL and OPEN investigation happens here. I mean why the fuck are all these WIERD CRASHES happening nowadays, with apparently no explanation. It's all very very strange.

If a kid has died at that scene (I hope it isnt true, poor kid , then his/her family need ANSWERS. Real answers.

Well its might be used to introduce unmanned buses ,if these strange crashes can be blamed on Human Error ....

Many people may have heard of unmanned cars, but not many people know an unmanned bus was also born recently. On August 29, China’s leading bus maker, Yutong rolled out the world’s first driverless bus, which successfully completed its trial operation on the intercity road from Zhengzhou to Kaifeng.

Very good point! Especially when you realise how many bus incidents there are, and a lot do involve Stagecoach (could be that there are more Stagecoach busses than other companies). Just a few recent ones -

Do you think a crash was staged in order to introduce driverless busses?

Who knows ,but it would save the Bus companies a small fortune ,but they will have to get this past the Unions first ,and then convince the public ....so its a possibility that this is why so many strange crashes are happening .
,and the massive media coverage ..

They've already got passengerless buses.
But, that's privatisation for you.

What is that Sherlock Holmes quote - you know, the one about 'once you have eliminated the impossible, whatever is left, no matter how improbable ...'
At least having a debate about these events, allows them to be looked at from every angle. When 9/11 happened, nobody could have told me it was an inside job. I have family members who are still in that position. Maybe the bus crash is just an accident, but being vigilant is no bad thing. It may well have prevented many more false flags, that a too trusting public would have fallen for.
