Default Black Pope. End times?

With Cardinal Peter Kodwo Appiah Turkson likely to be the next Pope.

What are your thoughts....

I don't know about black pope but at least prophecy points to the next Pope being the last one.
Btw the prophecy is that the last Pope will be 'Peter the Roman'.
You can take the view that this is prophecy playing out. Or it could be that we are about to be treated to TPTB ensuring that the prophecy plays out.
Either way - one to watch.

http://blogs.reuters.com/faithworld/...eo-at-vatican/

Quote:
A Roman Catholic cardinal has caused an uproar at the Vatican by screening a spurious YouTube video that makes alarmist predictions about the growth of Islam in Europe.

The seven-minute clip, called “Muslim Demographics,” was the talk of an international gathering of bishops on Monday, two days after Cardinal Peter Turkson screened it during a free discussion period.

Turkson, a Ghanaian who is based in the Vatican and is president of its Council for Justice and Peace, sparked consternation among his fellow bishops over the clip.

“As we were arriving this morning I was asked several times ‘Who planned it? Whose was it? Who is behind it?” Father Thomas Rosica said at a briefing for journalists, who are not allowed to attend the synod sessions, the first since the screening.

He said the clip had sparked “the most animated” discussion so far at the three-week conference, and one bishop said he would rebut Turkson by presenting a report with contrary data.

The clip has brought Islam to the top of the agenda at the synod, attended by 262 bishops. “Islam is the buzzword,” Rosica said.

Maybe the pope after Peter Kodwo Appiah Turkson will be a chinese pope based in Beijing? In that case it fulfills the prophecy.

Catholics are not permitted to recognize the authority of the Pope, and the Vatican is not allowed to appoint bishops. Beijing recognizes the Vatican's spiritual authority but not its political authority. In the 1950s the Communists set up the "Catholic Patriotic Association" to take power away from Rome.

Anyway I think maybe this is something to do with fairly recent damaging court cases for the Catholic church. Example...

Posted: Wed, 21 Nov 2012 10:52
The Supreme Court has today ruled on a dispute between two Catholic organisations about who is responsible for paying compensation to over 170 victims of alleged physical and sexual abuse at a Yorkshire children's home.

The case involves the Catholic diocese of Middlesbrough and the Catholic De La Salle Brothers order, in respect of alleged systematic abuse of children going back more than fifty years at the St William's children's care home and school at Market Weighton. It was ruled that the De La Salle Brothers were "vicariously" (financially) liable for wrongdoing of the members of the Order, even though they are not employees, despite the Order's attempts to evade responsibility for this reason.

Or the butler that found out some dirty secrets about the vatican.

Something is amiss and I wiill do some research to see if anything crops up.

An obvious political move isn't it.
Bringing in a pope of African roots to calm the Muslim situation in Africa?
Mali, Nigeria etc?

But the real motive is?

It would make a nice change to see those faithful crowds in St Peter's square all a stompin' and a hollerin' whilst getting down to some cool African beats.
That Gregorian chant crap has had its day.

No just speaking truth as it is reality...is on topic & with free speech. And this type of thread lends itself to any type of comments as OP asked for peoples thoughts not someone coming along stifling peoples thoughts over stupid racist tack attack.

If the next pope is named 'Peter' it'll just be so blatant.
