Default The Universe is a Training Simulation

I have watched David's Wembley event several times and I have come to a shocking revelation.

This universe that we experaince is simply a training simulation.

It is fundamentally no different, although far more complex, that a flight simulator that you wou;d train pilots on. We are here to learn, to grow, to remove the barriers from seeing that we are inifinite consciousness.

There is even mainstream science theory about this possibility.

There are a number of researchers/authors who propose a similar threory

Thomas Campbell is one of them:

Personally, I can only say that if it's true, it explains an awful lot.

Interesting view on life OP.

How does this view change anything??? Are you empowered by it, does it make you think any differently towards things???

Also if I'd experienced the after life and it was so amazing I'd probably kill myself to get back to it.

To say that this universe that we experience is simply a training simulation is only a half truth at best.

First of all we cannot and do not experience the ‘universe’ per se at all – the universe itself is an abstraction and lies beyond our limited mode of experience, although we are inseparable from it. At best we only experience our minute portion of it – our ‘ring-pass-not’.

Insofar as removing the barriers to our infinite consciousness is concerned we have a long spiritual evolutionary journey before us and a lot of hard work to perform before we can ever remove such ‘barriers’. Until that time comes to pass we will never realize the ‘infinitude of our consciousness’ and it will have to remain in essence until we get up of the couch and do the work – since nobody else can do it for us, and that, amongst other things, involves service-to-others as opposed to egotistical service-to self.

As far as the notion of a ‘training simulation’ goes – consider the following accepted definition of simulation:

Acting out or mimicking an actual or probable real life condition, event, or situation to find a cause of a past occurrence (such as an accident), or to forecast future effects (outcomes) of assumed circumstances or factors. A simulation may be performed through (1) solving a set of equations (a mathematical model), constructing a physical (scale) model, (3) staged rehearsal, (4) game (such as wargames), or a computer graphics model (such as an animated flowchart).

Whereas simulations may well be very useful tools that allow experimentation without exposure to risk, they are gross simplifications of the reality in question in this case, the concrete ‘universe’ because they include only a few of the concrete factors in that universe, and are only as good as their underlying assumptions.

I think the assumption that our ‘experience of the universe’ as being a more or less complex ‘training simulation’ is rather somewhat misleading because in life we are radically exposed to many such risks that are mostly unforeseen, if not incalculable, and would render the ‘training simulation’ idea untenable.

The Ancients referred to the manifest universe (the one we are in) as ‘Maya’ or ‘illusion’ because we simply cannot experience it as a whole and we can only perceive part of its outward appearance i.e. its physical-material form.

Regards

Om Tat Sat

Maybe you would want to come back to share with all, to help others and not be thinking whats in it for me.
