Costello's methodical modus operandi includes ironclad alibis involving his lover, Jane.. Having carried out a contract on a nightclub owner, he is seen leaving the scene by several witnesses, including piano player Valérie.. Their statements are inconsistent but the investigating officer believes Costello is his man.. Costello loses a police tail and gets to a meeting point on a subway overpass where instead of getting paid, he is shot and wounded by a man sent by his employers.. Having bandaged his wound and rested, he returns to the nightclub and somehow bonds with the piano player.. In the meantime, police officers bug his room, which agitates the bird in its cage.. Upon returning, Costello notices some loose feathers scattered around the cage. Suspecting an intrusion, he searches his room, finds the bug and deactivates it...

Red Moon was born according to his gravestone in 1821 or in 1832 according to the writings of Patt Hodge in the Prairie Fire publication. The author of this article prefers the 1832 date for several reasons. Red Moon was the son of Yellow Wolf, prominent chief of the southern Cheyenne. Yellow Wolf’s band was the Rope Hair people. Yellow Wolf was reportedly born in 1779, although I think this was a little early. He was killed in the 1864 massacre of Sand Creek in Colorado. Of the several well-known Indian Chiefs camped at Sand Creek, Black Kettle was the only one to survive. Red Moon was probably not yet a chief or if he was, he was not of prominence at that time. He would have been 32 years of age at the time of the Sand Creek MassAcre and probably was present through inference of his relationship to Yellow Wolf..Following the Massacre at Sand Creek, Black Kettle lost his status as a principal chief of the Cheyennes because of his proclivity toward peace with the whites. Indications are that Red Moon and his followers aligned themselves with Black Kettle until the latter’s death. In January 1865 the peace chiefs of the Cheyennes, among them Black Kettle and Red Moon, separated themselves from the warring clans and headed south from the Northern Cheyennes, who were at that time located on the Powder River in eastern Wyoming..Red Moon was camped close to Black Kettle at the time of the fight on the Washita in 1868. He later gave a report that fewer Indians were killed that day than what Custer reported...

Loosely based on the real-life gang rape of Cheryl Araujo that occurred at Big Dan's Bar in New Bedford, Massachusetts, on March 6, 1983, this was one of the first Hollywood Movie to deal with rape in a direct manner, and led to other films (including TV and shows) on the subject..On March 6, 1983, after putting her 2 daughters to sleep following the older daughter's 3rd birthday party, Araujo left her home to buy cigarettes.. The store she usually purchased from was closed, so she stopped at Big Dan's tavern in New Bedford, Massachusetts..2 men approached and asked her to leave with them. When she refused, a 3rd man grabbed her from behind and threw her onto the bar's pool table.. She was stripped below the waist, and several men raped her.. According to Araujo, she heard people "laughing, cheering, yelling", but no one responded to her cries for help.. Eventually, Araujo fought off her attackers and ran half-naked into the street, screaming that she had been raped..3 college students passing by in a van came upon Araujo in the street and drove her to the nearest hospital..On December 14, 1986, she lost control of her car while taking her daughters to a Christmas show and struck a utility pole.. The girls were injured, but survived.. Araujo, however, died in the crash.. She was 25 years old...

New Bedford is a city in Bristol County, Massachusetts, United States. As of the 2010 census, the city had a total population of 95,072, making it the 6th-largest city in Massachusetts. New Bedford is nicknamed "The Whaling City" because during the 19th century, the city was one of the most important, if not the most important, of whaling and fishing ports in the world, along with Nantucket, Massachusetts and New London, Connecticut..The city, along with Fall River and Taunton, make up the 3 largest cities in the South Coast region of Massachusetts. The Greater Providence-Fall River-New Bedford area is home to the largest Portuguese-American community in the United States..Before the 17th century, the Wampanoags, who had settlements throughout southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island, including Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket, were the only inhabitants of the lands along the Acushnet River. Their population is believed to have been about 12,000. While exploring New England, Bartholomew Gosnold landed on Cuttyhunk island on May 15, 1602. From there, he explored Cape Cod and the neighboring areas, including present-day New Bedford. However, rather than settle the area, he returned to England at the request of his crew..In 1818, Irish immigrants established the Catholic mission that built St. Mary's Church. Later in that century, immigrants from Portugal and its dependent territories of the Azores, Cape Verde and Madeira began arriving in New Bedford and the surrounding area, largely because of the whaling industry.. As the Portuguese community began to increase, they established the first Portuguese parish in the city, St. John the Baptist (1871).. The French (chiefly French-Canadian) also secured a foothold in New Bedford at about the same time, and they built the Church of the Sacred Heart in 1877..Similarly, Polish-Americans established the parish of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in 1903.. A number of Jewish families, arriving in the late 19th century, were active in the whaling industry, selling provisions and outfitting ships.. During the years leading up to the First World War, a sizable eastern-European Jewish community joined them in New Bedford, many of whom became prominent merchants and businessmen, mainly in textiles and manufacturing..Lewis Temple was an African-American blacksmith who invented the toggle iron, a type of toggling harpoon, which revolutionized the whaling industry and enabled the capture of more whales. There is a monument to Temple in downtown New Bedford..Along with Palmer's Island, the city also lays claim to Fish Island and Pope's Island. Between these 2 islands lyes one of the 3 sections, the central section, of the New Bedford-Fairhaven Bridge.. The central span, a swing bridge, connects the 2 islands as well as allowing boats and ships passage to the upper harbour..2 conventional bridges connect each of the islands to the nearest mainland, Fish Island to New Bedford and Pope's Island to Fairhaven. In addition to the harbor, there are several small brooks and ponds within the city limits..Interstate 195 is the main freeway through central New Bedford, traveling from Providence, RI to Wareham..New Bedford is represented by 4 state representatives..The Port of New Bedford serves as a break-bulk handler of perishable items, including fruit and fish; the port also handles other cargo. For 2006, the port expected upwards of 30 cruise ship calls.. One public and several private marinas offer limited transient dockage for recreational boats. As of November, 2005, the port is the top U.S. fishing port in terms of dollar value of catch..There are se7en Catholic schools within the city...

Suddenly, Fat Sam's is raided by Dandy Dan's men, who shoot the place up. Dandy Dan's men continue to attack Fat Sam's empire, eventually taking away rackets and splurging most of Fat Sam's gang. Cottaging is a British G slang term referring to anonymous sex between men in a public lavatory (a "cottage", "tea-room" or "beat"), or cruising for sexual partners with the intention of having sex elsewhere.. The term has its roots in self-contained English toilet blocks resembling small cottages in their appearance; in the English cant language of Polari this became a double entendre by G men referring to sexual encounters.,"Cottage" is documented as having been in use during the Victorian era to refer to a public toilet and by the 1960s had become an exclusively homosexual slang term., The word used in this sense is predominantly British (a cottage more commonly being a small, cosy, countryside home), though the term is occasionally used with the same meaning in other parts of the world.. Among G men in America, lavatories used for this purpose are called tea rooms..Cottages were and are located in places heavily used by many people such as bus stations, railway stations, airports and university campuses.. Often glory holes are drilled in the walls between cubicles in popular cottages.. Foot signals are used to signify that one wishes to connect with the person in the next cubicle. In some heavily used cottages, an etiquette develops and one person may function as a lookout to Warn if non-cottagers are Cumming...

Quote:
A cottage is, typically, a small house.. The word comes from England where it originally was a house that has a ground floor, with a first, lower storey of bedrooms which fit within the roofspace. In many places the word cottage is used to mean a small old-fashioned house. In modern usage, a cottage is usually a modest, often cosy dwelling, typically in a rural or semi-rural location. In the United Kingdom the term cottage denotes a small dwelling of traditional build, although it can also be applied to dwellings of modern construction which are designed to resemble traditional ones ("mock cottages")..In the United States the word cottage is often used to mean a small holiday home. However there are cottage-style dwellings in cities, and in places such as Canada the term exists with no connotations of size at all (cf. vicarage or hermitage). In certain countries (e.g. Scandinavia, Baltics, and Russia) the term "cottage" has local synonyms: In Finnish mökki; in Estonian suvila; in Swedish stuga; in Norwegian hytte (from the German word Hütte); in Slovak chalupa; in Russian дача (dacha; which can refer to a vacation/summer home, often located near a body of water). In the USA this type of summer home is more commonly called a "cabin", "chalet", or even "camp"..Finland defines a cottage (Finnish: mökki, Finland Swedish: stuga or villa) as "a residential building that is used as a holiday or free-time dwelling and is permanently constructed or erected on its site".. With regard to lesbian sexual practices, anal sex includes fingering, use of a dildo or other sex toys, or anilingus.. Some lesbians do not like anal sex, and anilingus is less often practiced among female same-sex couples..Finnish cottages are traditionally built of logs but other wood constructions have become common. They are usually situated close to water and almost all have a sauna..Freud urged, ‘that our dreams aim at being the fulfilments of wishes and that the wish to be a man is found so frequently, consciously or unconsciously, in women...Boxes, cases, chests, cupboards and ovens represent the uterus, and also hollow objects, ships, and vessels of all kinds. Rooms in dreams are usually women; if the various ways in and out of them are represented.."Steps, ladders or staircases, or, as the case may be, wanking up and down them, are representations of the sexual act"..It is also a symbol of life, death, and rebirth..Repetitive penetrative anal sex may result in the anal sphincters becoming weakened, which may affect the ability to hold in feces (a condition known as fecal incontinence); Kegel exercises have been used to strengthen the anal sphincters and overall pelvic floor, and may help prevent or remedy fecal incontinence.. The Jungian analyst Eugene Monick has coined the term "phallic resurrection" for the recurrent cycles of tumescence after detumescence.. Each time the phallus explodes in orgasm, it dies, but it returns to life again and again..Hence the widespread existence of phallic worship. It could be crudely sexual (as in the worship of Priapus), spiritual (the Lingam of Shiva), regenerative (the maypole), and resurrective (the Djed Pillar of Osiris and the Herm of the Ancient Greeks)..Until the end of World War II, only a small wealthy Swedish elite could afford vacation houses - often both a large seaside house and a hunting cabin up north. During the rapid urbanisation in the 1950s and 1960s, many families were able to retain their old farmhouses, village cottages and fisherman cabins and convert them into vacation houses. In addition, economic growth made it possible even for low income-families to buy small lots in the countryside where they could erect simple houses.. Former vacation houses near the large cities have gradually been converted into permanent homes as a result of urban sprawl..Most cases of anal cancer are related to infection with the human papilloma virus (HPV)...We create symbols because it is our nature to do so. We each possess an innate symbol-forming capacity as a creative part of our psychic equipment..New "cottage" settlements are different from old dacha areas, traditional villages, and Private sectors", which are old settlements within a city and consist of 1+ storey houses with small land plots, existing from the soviet era..

Luci lives alone with her promiscuous, alcoholic mother (a strange, mute ) in a poor suburb of London. Coming home from school one day Luci discovers her mother's body in the bathtub, her mother has slit her wrists..Robert, her mother's high school true love, discovers that she wrote a last letter pleading with him to look after Luci.. Robert agrees and takes Luci to his home where she meets his rich wife Amy and their teenage son, Nick ..Luci holds Robert responsible for her mother's tragic life and death because he not only left her to go on to university, but left her pregnant."Steps, ladders or staircases, or, as the case may be, walking up and down them, are representations of the sexual act.."At a movie theatre, Luci subtly offers herself up to an older man (a mute role for the prolific Vernon Dobtcheff) in the seat next to her, awaiting his touch on her bare leg, barely disguising the obvious thrill of that touch until the disgusted (yet entranced) Nick pulls her away.. But Luci comes across as a young woman simply craving the love and closeness she has never had, in the only way that seems possible to her due not only because of her upbringing but due to the fact that with her mother gone there seems no chance now for the parental love she really wants, so she makes do with the less innocent kind. Even the sexual 'love' of a stranger is better than no love at all.. Luci's wanton sexuality and resentment soon starts to cause friction in the household as one by one the family comes under her spell...

Will Keane (RG)is a successful 48-year-old restaurateur and womanizer who is the subject of a recent New York Magazine cover story.. Charlotte Fielding (WR) is a free-spirited 22-year-old woman brought to Will's upscale restaurant by her grandmother and friends to celebrate her birthday.. Will notices her immediately, and her grandmother, an old friend of his, introduces them.. Will admires the hats she made for the occasion, and is surprised to learn that Charlotte is the daughter of one of his old girlfriends, Katy, who died in a car accident..The next day, Will calls and asks Charlotte to make a hat for his date for an upcoming benefit dinner.. A few days later, she delivers the hat to his apartment. Stood up by his date, he invites her to accompany him to the formal benefit.. There they dance and get to know each other, and later end up back at his apartment where they make love. The next morning, while having breakfast on his terrace, Will explains that their relationship has no future. She acknowledges this, revealing she is dying from a heart condition. Later Will tells his friend, John Volpe , about his interest in Charlotte..The next day, Will calls on Charlotte and they go out together.. They talk about their age difference and her illness. As they walk through the beautiful fall foliage in Central Park, Charlotte recites lines from a poem: "O world, I cannot hold thee close enough! Thy winds, thy wide grey skies! Thy mists that roll and rise!".. As they talk, she notices him checking his watch, and she takes it from his wrist, saying she'll return it when he forgets that she has it. At his restaurant, they continue to get to know each other while preparing a meal for his staff. Watching her among his friends, he begins to fall in love..Back at his apartment, Charlotte experiences severe heart pain..At the hospital, Will learns from the doctor that she is suffering from neuroblastoma, a rare illness in adults, which in her case produced a tumor near her heart.. She has perhaps a year to live.. In the coming days, their relationship grows, and she learns more about him. When she asks why he is so interested in food, Will responds, "Food is the only beautiful thing that truly nourishes"..Because biocides are intended to kill living organisms, many biocidal products pose significant risk to human health...

Edna St. Vincent Millay (February 22, 1892 – October 19, 1950) was an American lyrical poet and playwright.. She received the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry in 1923, the 3rd woman to win the award for poetry, and was also known for her feminist activism and her many love affairs.. She used the pseudonym Nancy Boyd for her prose work. The poet Richard Wilbur asserted, "She wrote some of the best sonnets of the century...Neuroblastoma is one of the few human malignancies known to demonstrate spontaneous regression from an undifferentiated state to a completely benign cellular appearance.. It is a disease exhibiting extreme heterogeneity, and is stratified into 3 risk categories: low, intermediate, and high risk.. Low-risk disease is most common in infants and good outcomes are common with observation only or surgery, whereas high-risk disease is difficult to treat successfully even with the most intensive multi-modal therapies available..Esthesioneuroblastoma, also known as olfactory neuroblastoma, is believed to arise from the olfactory epithelium and its classification remains controversial. However, since it is not a sympathetic nervous system malignancy, esthesioneuroblastoma is a distinct clinical entity and is not to be confused with neuroblastoma..Neuroblastoma comprises 6-10% of all childhood cancers, and 15% of cancer deaths in children. The annual mortality rate is 10 per million children in the 0- to 4-year-old age group, and 4 per million in the 4- to 9-year old age group..The highest incidence is in the first year of life, and some cases are congenital. The age range is broad, including older children and adults, but only 10% of cases occur in people older than 5 years of age.. A large European study reported less than 2% of over 4000 neuroblastoma cases were over 18 years old..Millay was born in Rockland, Maine, to Cora Lounella Buzelle, a nurse, and Henry Tollman Millay, a schoolteacher who would later become a superintendent of schools. Her middle name derives from St. Vincent's Hospital in New York, where her uncle's life had been saved just before her birth. The family's house was "between the mountains and the sea where baskets of apples and drying herbs on the porch mingled their scents with those of the neighboring pine woods." In 1904, Cora officially divorced Millay's father for financial irresponsibility, but they had already been separated for some years. Cora and her 3 daughters, Edna (who called herself "Vincent"), Norma Lounella (born 1893), and Kathleen Kalloch (born 1896), moved from town to town, living in poverty. Cora travelled with a trunk full of classic literature, including Shakespeare and Milton, which she read to her children. The family settled in a small house on the property of Cora's aunt in Camden, Maine, where Millay would write the first of the poems that would bring her literary fame..Millay entered Vassar College in 1913 when she was 21 years old, later than usual.. She had relationships with several fellow students during her time there..In January 1921, she went to Paris, where she met and befriended the sculptor Thelma Wood..In 1923 she married 43-year-old Eugen Jan Boissevain (1880–1949), the widower of the labor lawyer and war correspondent Inez Milholland, a political icon Millay had met during her time at Vassar..In 1925, Boissevain and Millay bought Steepletop near Austerlitz, New York, which had been a 635-acre (257 ha) blueberry farm..During the first war Millay had been a dedicated and active pacifist; however, from 1940 she supported the Allied Forces, writing in celebration of the war effort and later working with Writers' War Board to create propaganda, including poetry..Millay died at her home on October 19, 1950. She had fallen down stairs and was found approximately 8 hours after her death.. Her physician reported that she had suffered a heart attack following a coronary occlusion.. She was 58 years old..Millay wrote 5 verse dramas early in her career, including Two Slatterns and a King and The Lamp and the BELL, a poem written for Vassar College about love between women.."Euclid alone has looked on Beauty bare" (1922) is an homage to the Geometry of Euclid..Renascence" and "The Ballad of the Harp-Weaver" are often considered her finest poems...

The Movie's plot revolves around the struggle of the character to fit into the highly structured world he lives in, isolated in a compound, and the series of events that unfold when he questions how truthful that world really is.. After he learns that the compound inhabitants are clones who are used for organ harvesting and surrogate motherhood for wealthy people in the outside world, he escapes..It cost $126 million to produce.. It earned only $36 million at the United States box office, but earned $127 million overseas, for a $162 million worldwide total..Lincoln begins having dreams that include memories that he knows are not from his own experiences.. While secretly visiting an off-limits power facility in the basement where his friend, technician James McCord, works, Lincoln discovers a live moth in a ventilation shaft, leading him to deduce that the outside world is not really contaminated. The Sahara (Arabic: الصحراء الكبرى‎, aṣ-Ṣaḥrāʾ al-Kubrā , 'the Great Desert') is the warmest, and 3rd largest desert after Antarctica and the Arctic.. At over 9,400,000 square kilometres (3,600,000 sq mi), it covers most of North Africa, making it almost as large as China or the United States. The Sahara stretches from the Red Sea, including parts of the Mediterranean coasts to the Atlantic Ocean. To the south, it is delimited by the Sahel, a belt of semi-arid tropical savanna that composes the northern region of central and western Sub-Saharan Africa..Some of the sand dunes can reach 180 metres (590 ft) in heightThe Sahara's boundaries are the Atlantic Ocean on the west, the Atlas Mountains and the Mediterranean on the north, the Red Sea on the east, and the Sudan and the valley of the Niger River on the south. The Sahara is divided into western Sahara, the central Ahaggar Mountains, the Tibesti Mountains, the Aïr Mountains (a region of desert mountains and high plateaus), Ténéré desert and the Libyan Desert (the most arid region). The highest peak in the Sahara is Emi Koussi (3,415 metres (11,204 ft)) in the Tibesti Mountains in northern Chad..The Sahara is the largest desert on the African continent.. The southern border of the Sahara is marked by a band of semiarid savanna called the Sahel; south of the Sahel lies Southern Sudan and the Congo River Basin. Most of the Sahara consists of rocky hamada; ergs (large areas covered with Sand dunes) form only a minor part..During the Neolithic Era, before the onset of desertification, around 9500 BCE the central Sudan had been a rich environment supporting a large population ranging across what is now barren desert, like the Wadi el-Qa'ab..By 6000 BCE predynastic Egyptians in the southwestern corner of Egypt were herding cattle and constructing large buildings. Subsistence in organized and permanent settlements in predynastic Egypt by the middle of the 6th millennium BCE centered predominantly on cereal and animal agriculture: cattle, goats, pigs and sheep. Metal objects replaced prior ones of stone..By 3400 BCE, the Sahara was as dry as it is today, due to reduced precipitation and higher temperatures Resulting from a shift in the Earth's orbit, and it became a largely impenetrable barrier to humans, with only scattered settlements around the oases but little trade or commerce through the desert..The people of Phoenicia, who flourished from 1200–800 BCE, created a confederation of Kingdoms across the entire Sahara to Egypt..By 500 BCE, Greeks arrived in the desert. Greek traders spread along the eastern coast of the desert, Establishing trading colonies Along the Red Sea..The Berber people occupied (and still occupy) Much of the Sahara...

Lightbulb Deadly Voyage

Quote:
Aboard the cargo ship MC Ruby, docked in New York, six stowaways burst from one of the containers being unloaded. They flee from the ship, but are apprehended by dock workers and the New York police. The MC Ruby's Ukrainian crew watches the detention with some amusement, but the ship's captain and his first mate, Ion Plesin, are displeased, aware that the illegal immigrants will cost the shipping company hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines.. In response, company representative Andreas Vlachos arrives to oversee future operations and warn that the crew will be liable for any more such fines..Later, the MC Ruby is docked in Ghana, where dock worker Kingsley Ofosu plans to some day stow away aboard a cargo ship to pursue a better life for himself and his pregnant wife in the United States. Upon winning a lottery, he decides that the time is right, as he can use the money to get on his feet upon his arrival. Ofosu, his brother and 6 other men slip aboard the MC Ruby and hide in its cargo holds. With the ship behind schedule, Plesin has only one hour to conduct a stowaway search prior to departure. The hasty endeavor fails to turn up Ofosu's group and the ship sails, bound for France, prior to sailing on to New York..Calais is a town and major ferry port in northern France in the department of Pas-de-Calais, of which it is a sub-prefecture..Calais is currently home to around 1,000 migrants, mostly looking to enter the UK avoiding the strict immigration controls at the port.. Some 700–800 migrants, mostly Afghan, were camped in an area among the dunes near the port, locally called 'The Jungle', but this was destroyed by French authorities in a dawn raid on 22 September 2009..The inhabitants were partly imprisoned at the nearby Centre de Rétention of Coquelles, but many more were taken to detention centres all over France before being released and having to make the long journey back to Calais by foot. After the closing of the camp, the French authorities have threatened to repatriate "sans-papiers" ("immigrés en situation irrégulière") to Afghanistan..These men are the cream of a large crop of megalomanic and psychotic 'leaders' that have plagued the African continent..The $300,000,000 Basilica of Our Lady of Peace in Yamoussoukro represents the squandering of the continents Resources..

Quote:
According to Ofosu, he and se7en OTher Ghanaians, including his half-brother Albert Codjoe, stowed away aboard the MC Ruby, a Bahamian-flagged, Ukrainian-crewed cargo ship, on 24 October 1992..The ship was docked in Takoradi, taking on a load of cocoa.. The stowaways had wanted to travel to Europe, where each man had hoped to find a more prosperous life than what was available to them in Ghana.. Ofosu specifically had hoped to pursue his studies so that he could return to Ghana as a trained engineer. After hiding within the ship's holds, the group discovered another stowaway, not previously known to them, who had boarded the ship at its previous stop in Douala, Cameroon..Six days into the voyage, the group’s water container was broken, forcing them to begin ferreting about the ship in search of more. This resulted in them being discovered by the ship’s crew.. Members of the ship's crew took all of the group’s money and then confined them in the compartment containing the ship’s anchor chain.. They were held there for 3 days, being given no food and little water.. Eventually, the six crew members began removing the group 2 to 3 at time.. Although they told the men that they were being moved to a more comfortable accommodation, the crew in fact had decided to murder the Men, beating them with an iron bar and shooting them, then finally throwing them overboard somewhere off the coast of Portugal..

However, Frank is reluctant to accept the offer to guard Rachel as he sees her as a spoiled diva who is oblivious to the threats against her life..Frank's misgivings are confirmed when he enters Rachel's estate too easily. And when he is finally introduced to the superstar, Rachel looks upon Frank as paranoid and his extensive protection techniques as intrusive. Rachel's existing bodyguard Tony (Mike Starr) resents Frank's presence.. But at a concert where Rachel is performing a riot breaks out, Frank rescues her from danger.. The Bodyguard: Original Soundtrack Album is the soundtrack from the Movie of the same name, released on November 17, 1992, by Arista Records.. The album's first side (in its original LP configuration) features songs by Whitney Houston, while side 2 features the work of numerous other artists. The album was co-executive produced by Whitney Houston and Clive Davis and has become one of the best selling albums of all time.. The soundtrack was the first album verified by the Nielsen SoundScan computerized sales monitoring system to have sold more than a million units within a one-week period. The soundtrack later went on to win the Grammy Award for Album of the Year and was certified 17× Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America on November 1, 1999.. To date, it has sold over 45 million copies worldwide and is the best-selling soundtrack of all time..Houston served as executive producer (as she did on her previous release I'm Your Baby Tonight), giving her full control over the song selections for this LP.. Houston planned to record "What Becomes of the Broken Hearted" as the film's theme song, however, when they found out another film was going to use it, they searched for another song.. Kevin Costner, the film's co-star, thought of recording "I Will Always Love You", originally released by Dolly Parton. While recording the album, Houston insisted on using her touring band as opposed to a studio band..In 1992-1993, with the huge international success of the Movie The Bodyguard, the soundtrack was also a phenomenal hit Worldwide...

Okwe, an illegal immigrant to the United Kingdom, is an African man who drives a cab in London during the day and works at the front desk of a hotel at night..(This hotel is staffed with quite a few immigrants, both legal and illegal).. Okwe keeps himself awake by chewing khat, an herbal stimulant. A doctor in his home country, he was forced to flee, following an incident in which staying would have likely cost him his life.. In London, he is pressed into giving medical treatment to other poor immigrants, including fellow cab drivers with venereal diseases.. Okwe's friend Guo Yi, an employee at a hospital mortuary, provides him with antibiotics under the table..A prostitute known as Juliette, who acts like an unofficial member of the staff, tells Okwe to check a room in which she was staying, and he finds the toilet overflowing..He fishes out the blockage and finds a human heart.. The manager of the hotel, Juan, runs an illegal operation at the hotel wherein immigrants swap kidneys for forged passports.. After learning of Okwe's past as a doctor, Juan pressures him to join his operation as a surgeon, but Okwe refuses..Senay is a Turkish Muslim who also works at the hotel, as a cleaner. She has a visa to stay in the UK providing she does not work, so the hotel is a perfect cover, as she is not named on its books.. She also gives Okwe a place to stay—he sleeps on her sofa provided she is out when he is asleep, as her morals forbid a strange man from Being in any intimate situation with her...

The name Celador is a re-spelling of "cellar door", a phrase whose sound is often noted to be particularly euphonious..Stansted is a base for a number of major European low-cost carriers, being the largest base for low-cost airline Ryanair with over 100 destinations served by the airline.. In 2013 it was the 4th busiest airport in the United Kingdom after Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester. Stansted's runway is also used by private companies such as the Harrods Aviation terminal which is opposite the main terminal building and handles private jets and some state visits..The airfield opened in 1943 and was used during the Second World War as RAF Stansted Mountfitchet by the Royal Air Force and the United States Army Air Forces as a bomber airfield and as a major maintenance depot. Although the official name was Stansted Mountfitchet, the base was known as simply Stansted in both written and spoken form..The station was first allocated to the USAAF 8th Air Force in August 1942 as a heavy bomber airfield. As well as an operational bomber base, Stansted was also a ATSC maintenance and supply depot concerned with major overhauls and modification of B-26s.. After D-Day these activities were transferred to France, but the base was still used as a supply storage area for the support of aircraft on the continent..After the withdrawal of the Americans on 12 August 1945, Stansted was taken over by the Air Ministry and used by No. 263 Maintenance Unit, RAF for storage purposes. In addition, between March 1946 and August 1947, Stansted was used for housing German POW..The Ministry of Civil Aviation finally took control of Stansted in 1949 and the airport was then used as a base by several UK charter airlines. The US military returned in 1954 to extend the runway for a possible transfer to NATO.. The transfer to NATO was never realised, however, and the airport continued in civil use, ending up under BAA control in 1966..

Sothis, Amenes's master builder, reports there has been an accident at the construction site of the treasury and begs for more time for his workers' sake, but Amenes is unmoved..As Samlak and Makeda trek to Amenes, Ramphis, the son of Sothis, spots Makeda's despised Greek slave, Theonis.. Entranced, he takes her home with him.. When Ramphis tries to kiss Theonis, she playfully runs away toward the treasury, unaware that the penalty to approach the place is death.. Ramphis chases after her, but they are caught and brought before Amenes..Pharaoh sentences them both to be executed at dawn. Theonis throws herself at his feet and begs him to spare Ramphis, as it was all her fault.. Amenes immediately falls under her spell..The Russian footage lasted only 55 minutes and was missing all the scenes dealing with love and emotion...

Doris Attinger follows her husband with a gun one day after suspecting he is having an affair with another woman.. In her rage, she fires at the couple multiple times.. One of the bullets hits her husband in the shoulder..The following morning, married lawyers Adam and Amanda Bonner read about the incident in the newspaper.. They argue over the case. Amanda sympathizes with the woman, particularly noting the double standard that exists for men and women regarding adultery..That night, Adam sees Amanda and their neighbor KIP LURIE , who has shown a clear interest in Amanda, through the window..He breaks into the apartment, pointing a gun at the pair..

Quote:
According to Lennon, the title came from the cover of a gun magazine that producer George Martin showed him: "I think he showed me a cover of a magazine that said 'Happiness Is a Warm Gun.' It was a gun magazine. I just thought it was a fantastic, insane thing to say. A warm gun means you just shot something.."Happiness Is a Warm Gun" is reportedly Paul McCartney's and George Harrison's favourite song on the White Album.. Although tensions were high among the band during the album's recording sessions, they reportedly collaborated as a close unit to work out the song's challenging rhythmic and meter issues, and consequently considered it one of the few true "Beatles" songs on the album.. Recording of the song began at 7 pm in Studio Two at EMI Studios in London on 23 September 1968, continued over the following 2 nights, with daytime breaks, and Was completed at 5 am on 26 September...

While en route to Sam's California home, she parks along the road to sleep.. A highway patrol officer awakens her and, suspicious of her agitated state, begins to follow her. When she trades her car for another one at a dealership, he notes the new vehicle's details. Marion returns to the road but, rather than drive in a heavy storm, decides to spend the night at the Bates Motel..Owner Norman Bates tells Marion he rarely has customers because of a new interstate nearby and mentions he lives with his mother Norma in the house overlooking the motel. He invites Marion to have supper with him. She overhears Norman arguing with his mother about letting Marion in the house, and during the meal, she angers him by suggesting he institutionalize his mother. He admits he would like to do so, but does not want to abandon her. Later that night, while Marion is changing, Norman secretly watches her from a peephole in his office and masturbates before heading back to the house...

I killed Bethany, my old girlfriend, with a nail gun, and some man uh some old faggot with a dog last week.. I killed another girl with a chainsaw, I had to, she almost got away and uh someone else there I can't remember maybe a model, but she's dead too.. And Paul Allen.. I killed Paul Allen with an axe in the face, his body is dissolving in a bathtub in Hell's Kitchen. I don't want to leave anything out here.. I guess I've killed maybe 20 people, maybe 40. I have tapes of a lot of it, uh some of the girls have seen the tapes. I even, um... I ate some of their brains, and I tried to cook a little.. Tonight I, uh, I just had to kill a LOT of people.. This 1973 retelling of the classic tale of James Hilton's Utopian lost world plays out as a musical production complete with Bacharach pop music..While escaping war-torn China, a group of Europeans crash in the Himalayas, where they are rescued and taken to the mysterious Valley of the Blue Moon, Shangri-La. Hidden from the rest of the world, Shangri-La is a haven of peace and tranquility for world-weary diplomat Richard Conway.. Here there is no crime, no war, no sickness, no pollution, no sadness and a lifetime may be in the 100s of years.. His ambitious brother, George, sees it as a prison from which he must escape, even if it means risking his life and bringing destruction to the ancient culture of Shangri-La...
