apparently she went missing on the same day her partner went to visit relatives in Sheffield for 2 days. She was reported missing on his return when he found she wasn't at home.

Is it just me, or does anyone else find it peculiar that her partner had not made any contact with her while visiting his relatives?

just using my Miss Marple head that's all

yep hed be my number one suspect. They usually interview the boyfriend of a missing person first to rule them out.

He said that he was calling her, but that she didn't answer and this was not unusual
Very sad. Im sure the boyfriend will be the chief suspect.

I can't imagine any scenario where she would leave her belongings in the flat as normal and then disappear with an unopened pizza.
Were there any ufo sigtings over Bristol that night?

the more I read into this the more the actions of her boyfriend and his family seem a bit suspect. On returning home he waited until midnight before looking through her bag to find evidence of where she was, at which point he reported her missing.

Ok, if my OH had been away for a few days and I hadn't answered the texts, on returning home if I wasn't around he would be worried sick, certainly not waiting until midnight. Also from the details given about this couple, they were meant to be madly in love?

The second questionable detail is that Mr Reardon's half brother seems very unwilling to give any information about what his brother was up to while staying with him for 2 days? Why?

Boyfiend gets home 8pm.
Jo is nearly at home at 8.30pm.
Jo doubles back to go to Tesco's.
Jo is at Tesco's at 8.40pm.
How did her coat and purse get to the flat without her boyfriend seeing her?

Sorry my bad, she went missing on Friday?

Anyone else think this is some kind of Tavistock mind control-type operation? Why make a big deal of this case, when she hasn't even been missing that long?

The editorial aspects seem dodgy too. Her parents feel she may have been adbucted. But what gives them the credibility to reach that conclusion after just five days? It's not like they are neutral observers.

If she went missing on the friday and her boyfriend went to sheffield on the same day? I would think one of the most important things would be, what time he arrived in Sheffield.

exactly what I thought pheony, the first thing that came to my mind was typically you would ring home to say you arrived safely

Do you think so? It's kind of normal that when you're an adult living on your own and working for a living, you don't phone mummy and daddy literally every day to let them know you haven't been adbucted, don't you think?

Just my opinion.

Well, perhaps not your mother and father.

She lived with her boyfriend. The weather was getting bad and he was travelling to Sheffield. If someone i loved was going away i would phone to make sure they arrived safely.

Okay. Fair enough.

If the media really goes to town with this story and she is never found, then we know something is up.

Let's remember to do some background checks on freemasonic links her immediate family may have.

What makes this case special?. Women are disappearing all the time.

I'm getting that Madeleine McCann lets create a massive media circus vibe all over again & we all know the McCanns were co-conspirators to there daughters disappearance.

Professional backgrounds in both cases.

I'm calling an early inside job (could be wrong) from all parties.

It is because many here are hoping for a conspiracy involving the boyfriend.
