Default Asteroid Strikes Columbia

Lucus & Floyd Anderson 09/06/2010 4:45PM

Such a colossal event, such miniscule media coverage.

Around 3:10PM Sunday afternoon residents of Columbia were awestruck when the clear sky was cracked open by a massive fireball that exploded upon impact leaving a 300 foot wide crater and a lot of rattled nerves.

This is not the first time this year that an impact event has been underreported.

Why is this a colossal event?

And dont we always get told meteor's of that size will destroy the planet?

I hope Highwic doesn't see this as he will say Nibiru caused it.

Of a size large enough to create a crater like that.

It's like one hand they say this happens all the time....

yet when I see the 'what if' shows where they describe whats needed to end the earth, they are are never much larger than described by news reports.

My guess as to why it had such little media coverage is that we're supposed to
be terrified of rocks hitting the Earth because "everybody knows" that if a
rock hits the Earth it will kill everything on the planet. They've spent many
millions of dollars brainwashing everyone about this.

Of course, it's not true so they can't go around publicizing rocks hitting the
planet which just go boom and make a big hole in the ground but don't kill
everything on the planet. If they publicized it then everybody would soon
realize that a rock hitting the Earth won't kill everybody and they wouldn't fear
it happening and all that brainwashing would be wasted.

If you remember over a year ago they decided to classify asteroids and fireballs.

Military Hush-Up: Incoming Space Rocks Now Classified

http://www.space.com/news/090610-mil...fireballs.html

Quote:
For 15 years, scientists have benefited from data gleaned by U.S. classified satellites of natural fireball events in Earth's atmosphere – but no longer.

A recent U.S. military policy decision now explicitly states that observations by hush-hush government spacecraft of incoming bolides and fireballs are classified secret and are not to be released, SPACE.com has learned.

The satellites' main objectives include detecting nuclear bomb tests, and their characterizations of asteroids and lesser meteoroids as they crash through the atmosphere has been a byproduct data bonanza for scientists.

The upshot: Space rocks that explode in the atmosphere are now classified.

Another article here

Despite a 1,000-strong search team and a police helicopter looking for the remains of a giant fireball seen in the skies of central Colombia, authorities have been unable to locate the supposed meteorite's crash site.

The Colombian media has been buzzing with eyewitness accounts of the fireball, which fell from the sky, causing a massive explosion at 3:15PM Sunday.

Strange they claim not to have found the site, when initially it was reported to have made a 300ft crater..

Hi leviathanstaar and all.

Not entirely true. We are often told of a wipeout event type strike and these things could be a size of 300m in size to do the job. But this particular one made a hole of 300ft, and that means it was much, much smaller. Also, it might be a simple case of exageration on someones part to make it seem worse than it actualy is. I dont know this to be true, but it seems likely. Even so though, a hole of 250ft is huge when you look at the crater of the Lockabe bombing issue. This thing came down with some force.

Nelly.

I was watching "secret space vol 2" documentary Part 1 or 4

In it they show clips of objects entering our atmosphere above mexico. in the early 2000's cant remember the exact year.

These were followed by a spate of ufo sightings.

Isn't it possible that the reason it cant be found is because it didn't actually hit the ground?

NASA also claimed to have no knowledge of the mexico sightings.
