Lightbulb Master of Ceremoonies

A ceremony is an event of ritual significance, performed on a special occasion. The word may be of Etruscan origin, via the Latin caerimonia ("rites performed by Etruscan pontiffs near Rome.")...A ritual is a set of actions, performed mainly for their symbolic value. It may be prescribed by the traditions of a community, including by a religious community...In psychology, the term ritual is sometimes used in a technical sense for a repetitive behaviour systematically used by a person to neutralize or prevent anxiety; it is a symptom of obsessive–compulsive disorder...

According to Joseph Jordania, the initial function of ritualistic behaviours in human evolutionary prehistory was to achieve the altered state of consciousness in hominid brain, in order to transform individual hominids into a group of dedicated individuals with a single collective identity. In this state (which Jordania calls battle trance) hominids did not feel fear and pain, they were religiously dedicated to group interests, were not questioning orders, and could sacrifice their lives for the common goal... This state was induced by ritualistic actions: loud rhythmic singing, clapping and drumming on external objects, dancing, body and face painting, and the use of specific cloths. The same kind of ritualistic actions are still widely used in order to achieve the psychological unity of participants in various religious practices, as well in military forces to prepare soldiers for the combat situations...There are hardly any limits to the kind of actions that may be incorporated into a ritual. The rites of past and present societies have typically involved special gestures and words, recitation of fixed texts, performance of special music, songs or dances, processions, manipulation of certain objects, use of special dresses, consumption of special food, drink, or drugs, and much more. Religious rituals have also included animal sacrifice, human sacrifice, and ritual suicide...

Rituals can aid in creating a firm sense of group identity. Humans have used rituals to create social bonds and even to nourish interpersonal relationships. For example, nearly all fraternities and sororities have rituals incorporated into their structure, from elaborate and sometimes "secret" initiation rites, to the formalized structure of convening a meeting. Thus, numerous aspects of ritual and ritualistic proceedings are engrained into the workings of those societies...

Lightbulb Bringing death into the path of the Truth Body

Bill is just then called on a housecall to the deathbed of the father of a now-engaged female friend...Death occurs when the subtle consciousness finally leaves the body to go to the next life. Our body is like a guesthouse and our mind like the guest; when we die our mind has to leave this body and enter the body of our next rebirth, like a guest leaving one guesthouse and travelling to another...

Death begins with the sequential dissolution of the winds associated with the four elements (earth, water, fire and air). "Earth" refers to the hard factors of the body such as bone, and the dissolution of the wind associated with it means that that wind is no longer capable of serving as a mount or basis for consciousness...Requested in this way, the encircling lineage Gurus dissolve into my root Guru in the centre. My root Guru too, out of affection for me, melts into the form of red light and, entering through the crown of my head, mixes inseparably with my mind in the aspect of a red letter BAM at my heart...

This very letter BAM expands and spreads to the ends of space whereby all worlds and their beings become the nature of bliss and emptiness. Once again, contracting gradually from the edges, it becomes an extremely minute letter BAM which dissolves in stages from the bottom up into the nada. Then even the nada disappears and becomes the Truth Body of inseparable bliss and emptiness...

1. The Earth Element Dissolves...

- The earth element loses its power, the body becomes very thin, limbs loose and you feel as if the body is sinking under the earth.
- The aggregate of form absorbs, the limbs become smaller, the body becomes weak and powerless, the lustre of the body diminishes and all one's strength is consumed.
- The basic mirror-like wisdom dissolves, the sight becomes unclear and dark.
- Eye sense: one cannot open or close one's eyes.
- Internal sign: appearance of mirages.

2. The Water Element Dissolves...

- The water element loses its power, saliva, sweat, urine, blood etc. start to dry up.
- The aggregate of feelings absorbs, the body consciousness can no longer experience the three types of feelings that accompany sense consciousness
- The basic wisdom of equality (our ordinary consciousness mindful of pleasure, pain and neutral feelings as feelings) dissolve, one is no longer mindful of the feelings accompanying the mental consciousness
- Ear sense: one no longer has external or internal sounds
Internal sign: appearance of smoke.

Lightbulb Dissolution of the Winds

3. The Fire Element Dissolves...

- The fire element loses its power, one cannot digest food or drink.
- The aggregate of discrimination absorbs, one is no longer mindful of affairs of close persons.
- The basic wisdom of analysis dissolves, one can no longer remember the names of close persons.
- Nose sense: inhalation weak, exhalation strong and lengthy and one cannot smell.
- Internal signs: appearance of fireflies or sparks within smoke...(Lampyridae is a family of insects in the beetle order Coleoptera. They are winged beetles, and commonly called fireflies or lightning bugs for their conspicuous crepuscular use of bioluminescence to attract mates or prey).

4. The Wind Element Dissolves...

- The wind element loses its power, the ten winds move to the heart and the inhalation and exhalation ceases.
- The aggregate of compositional factors absorbs, one cannot perform physical actions and one cannot experience smoothness or roughness.
- The basic wisdom of achieving activities dissolves, one is no longer mindful of external worldly activities, purposes etc.
- Tongue sense: tongue becomes thick and short and the root of the tongue becomes blue.
- Internal sign: appearance of sputtering candlelight about to go out.

5. The aggregate of consciousness absorbs

- The eighty conceptions dissolve.
- Cause of appearance: winds in the right and left channels above the heart enter the central channel at the top of the head.
- Internal sight: clear vacuity filled with white light.

Lightbulb Black & Red

6. The Mind of White Appearance Dissolves
- Cause of appearance: winds in right and left channels below heart enter central channel at base of spine.
- Internal sign: very clear vacuity filled with red light.

7. The Mind of Red Increase Dissolves
- Cause of appearance: upper and lower winds gather at heart and then the winds enter the drop at the heart.
- Internal sign: at first, vacuity filled with thick darkness; then as if swooning into unconsciousness.

8. The Mind of Black Near Attainment Dissolves
- Cause of appearance: all winds dissolve into the very subtle life-bearing wind in the indestructible drop at the heart.
- Internal sign: very clear vacuity, the mind of clear light of death. Focus on this clear light for as long as you can...

When the clear light of death ceases, the consciousness passes back through the stages of dissolution in reverse order...As soon as this reverse process begins, the person is reborn into an intermediate state between lives, with a subtle body that can go anywhere, through mountains, through windows, through doors etc etc to find a place of rebirth...

Lightbulb Intermediate State

Bringing the intermediate state into the path of the Enjoyment Body...From the state of emptiness where all appearance has gathered like this there appears a red letter BAM standing upright in space, in essence an aspect of my own mind, the exalted wisdom of non-dual bliss and emptiness...

Bringing rebirth into the path of the Emanation Body...From the state of emptiness, from EH EH comes a red phenomena source, a double tetrahedron. Inside from AH comes a moon mandala, white with a shade of red. Upon this standing in a circle counter-clockwise rests the mantra OM OM OM SARWA BUDDHA DAKINIYE VAJRA WARNANIYE VAJ RA BEROTZANIYE HUM HUM HUM PHAT PHAT PHAT SÖHA...I, the letter BAM in space, see the moon and, motivated to take rebirth in its centre, enter the centre of the moon...

“Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth.”

Lightbulb Rebirth

Sexual intercourse, also known as copulation or coitus, is commonly defined as the insertion of a male's penis into a female's vagina for the purposes of sexual pleasure or reproduction...Selective breeding is the process of breeding for particular traits...Charles Darwin discussed how selective breeding had been successful in producing change over time in his book, Origin of Species...

Fertilisation (also known as conception, fecundation and syngamy) is the fusion of gametes to produce a new organism. The process involves the fusion of an ovum with a sperm, which eventually leads to the development of an embryo....The entire process of development of new individuals is called reproduction...

Bringing rebirth into the path of the Emanation Body...Re Incarnation, the migration of a deceased person's spirit or consciousness to a newborn body...Birth is the act or process of bearing or bringing forth offspring...The offspring is brought forth from the mother...The time of human birth is defined as the time at which the fetus comes out of the mother's womb into the world...

Lightbulb Mummy

The English word mummy is derived from medieval Latin mumia, a borrowing of the Persian word mūm (موم), which means "bitumen"... Because of the blackened skin, bitumen was once thought to be used extensively in ancient Egyptian embalming procedures...The Pschent was the name of the Double Crown of Ancient Egypt... The Ancient Egyptians generally referred to it as sekhemti, the Two Powerful Ones...It combined the Red Deshret Crown of Lower Egypt and the White Hedjet Crown of Upper Egypt...The most common site of a human cowlick is in the crown, but they can show up anywhere. They also sometimes appear in the front and back of the head...

Arrow Rebirth

This human realm is in an important sense the most fortunate station of rebirth. It is just here that the most favourable conditions for liberation are to be found. The lower realms are overwhelmed by suffering, and in the higher realms the pleasure is so constant that there is little incentive to practice. It is right here that the right mixture of pain and pleasure can be found...

We should reflect on the rare good fortune of a human birth, especially if we have a birth in a healthy body with sufficient intelligence to hear and understand the Dhamma, and the good karma to encounter the teachings. When we consider all the other terrible possibilities on the wheel, we would be foolish to squander so rare an opportunity...

It is said that the bare minimum requirement for taking a human rebirth is to keep the five moral precepts reasonably well. This is because to break a precept is to experience the consciousness of a lower realm. To perform an act of violence is to engage in the mind of a demon and foster rebirth in hell. To consume intoxicants is to lower one's mind to an animal level and to set the conditions for rebirth at that level...

This points to another characteristic of the human state. It may be said to be the realm in the middle of all the others. This means that a human can experience moments of consciousness equivalent to those of beings in other realms. Someone enjoying a refined sensuality, such as listening to a Bach fugue, may be touching on the mind of a deva. Likewise, absorption in meditation (jhana) is the equivalent of Brahma realm consciousness...In Buddhism, humans have a very special status: only a human can attain enlightenment as a fully enlightened Buddha. Enlightenment as an arhat can be attained from the realms of the Śuddhāvāsa deities. A bodhisattva can appear in many different types of lives, for instance as an animal or as a deva. Buddhas, however, are always human...The status of life as a human, at first glance, has nothing very special about it. In the hierarchy of Buddhist cosmology it is low but not entirely at the bottom. It is not intrinsically marked by extremes of happiness or suffering, but all the states of consciousness in the universe, from hellish suffering to divine joy to serene tranquility can be experienced within the human world...

..."Now, there are these five gifts, five great gifts — original, long-standing, traditional, ancient, unadulterated, unadulterated from the beginning — that are not open to suspicion, will never be open to suspicion, and are unfaulted by knowledgeable contemplatives & priests. Which five?

"There is the case where a disciple of the noble ones, abandoning the taking of life, abstains from taking life. In doing so, he gives freedom from danger, freedom from animosity, freedom from oppression to limitless numbers of beings. In giving freedom from danger, freedom from animosity, freedom from oppression to limitless numbers of beings, he gains a share in limitless freedom from danger, freedom from animosity, and freedom from oppression. This is the first gift, the first great gift — original, long-standing, traditional, ancient, unadulterated, unadulterated from the beginning — that is not open to suspicion, will never be open to suspicion, and is unfaulted by knowledgeable contemplatives & priests"...

Lightbulb Spirit in the Circle

A symbol is something that represents an idea, a process, or a physical entity. The purpose of a symbol is to communicate meaning... For example, a red octagon may be a symbol for "STOP". On a map, a picture of a tent might represent a campsite. Numerals are symbols for numbers. Personal names are symbols representing individuals. A red rose symbolizes love and compassion...When a symbol becomes identified with the deeper reality to which it refers, it becomes idolatrous as the "symbol is taken for reality." Here, the symbol itself is substituted for the deeper meaning it intends to convey. The unique nature of the symbol is that it gives access to deeper layers of reality which are otherwise inaccessible...In archaeology, a glyph is a carved or inscribed symbol... It may be a pictogram or ideogram, or part of a writing system such as a syllable, or a logogram...Keep in mind that many of these symbols have double or multiple meanings... For example, the pentagram has been used to transmit occult power in all kinds of rituals for centuries...

Quote:
Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa (1486-1535) is the most influential writer of Renaissance esoterica. His de occulta philosophia appeared in three books. Written from 1509 to 1510 (he would have been 23 at the time), it circulated widely in manuscript form, and was eventually printed in 1533. It is a "systematic exposition of ... Ficinian spiritual magic and Trithemian demonic magic (and) ... treatised in practical magic" (I. P. Couliano in Hidden Truths 1987, p. 114).
The English word Spirit (from Latin spiritus "breath") has many differing meanings and connotations, most of them relating to a non-corporeal substance contrasted with the material body. The word spirit is often used metaphysically to refer to the consciousness or personality. The notions of a person's "spirit" and "soul" often also overlap, as both contrast with body and both are understood as surviving the bodily death in religion and occultism, and "spirit" can also have the sense of "ghost", i.e. a manifestation of the spirit of a deceased person...

Lightbulb Chant

Chant (from French chanter) is the rhythmic speaking or singing of words or sounds, often primarily on one or two pitches called reciting tones. Chants may range from a simple melody involving a limited set of notes to highly complex musical structures, often including a great deal of repetition of musical subphrases, such as Great Responsories and Offertories of Gregorian chant. Chant may be considered speech, music, or a heightened or stylized form of speech. In the later Middle Ages some religious chant evolved into song (forming one of the roots of later Western music)...

Chanting (e.g., mantra, sacred text, the name of God/Spirit, etc.) is a commonly used spiritual practice... Like prayer, chant may be a component of either personal or group practice... Diverse spiritual traditions consider chant a route to spiritual development...Chants are used in a variety of settings, such as from ritual to recreational...

The sound of Mantra can lift the believer towards the higher self... These sound elements of Sanskrit language are permanent entities and are of everlasting significance. In the recitation of Sanskrit Man tras the sound is very important, for it can bring transformation in you while leading you to power and strength...Different sounds have different effects on human psyche...

Om...The Beginning & the End...

The Bible (John 1:1) says: "In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God." Modern Vedic philosophers have interpreted this teaching of the Bible, and equated Om with God...Om is the most important of all mantras. All mantras generally begin and often also end with Om...

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth...

What a nonsense. The knowledge and technology? Yes people were smart that time too.
But the wisdom and the secret knowledge.... uch! I mean, to believe that the Earth is on the elephant back, or that it is a flat table? Healing people but letting them bleed? That is the knowledge? Go to Africa and you will find there by comparative anthropology what the world looked like that time.
Maybe in some 1000y people will find that the universe is about 13.7 centillion y old... And we have the Wisdom. Yes, sure...

What I can see on the forum is, what Icke is absolutely against, that many of you are obsessed about some secret knowledge. It is a crypto-pope protestant indoctrination, believe you in it or not. You believe in a power of this world, not power of the Trinity.
The knowledge is essentially endless and none can know the secret. From 1 to 2 in comparing with ∞ is equal as from 1 to 10000^10000.
Go instead deep in your heart and try to clean your thoughts of the ego-dirt, to remove your souls' enemy and be a free man.

Revealing read....

In the ancient world, the hierarchy focused on the Sun because they knew its effect at a deep level, while the masses worshipped the Sun because its heat and light had an obvious and crucial role in ensuring an abundant harvest. In the same way, an initiate of the esoteric knowledge will read the Bible differently to a Christian or Jewish believer. The initiate will recognize the symbolism, the numerology and the esoteric codes, while the believer takes the text literally so the same text acts as a means of passing on esoteric knowledge to the initiated and creates a prison-religion for the masses who are not initiated...
Manly P. Hall, the Freemasonic historian and initiate, said that black magic dictated the state religion in Egypt and that the intellectual and spiritual activities of the people were paralyzed by complete obedience to the dogma formulated by the priestcraft...

R.I.P. CAPT. G.P. BOWIE
KILLED IN ACTION, JULY 7th 1915
5th BATTN. 2nd BGDE.
CANADIAN CORPS WESTERN CAVLY.

George Pigrum Bowie was born in Upper Holloway, London on 29 March 1881, and was the eldest son of a clerk in the civil service. The 1911 Census shows him living in Vancouver and working as an architect. Presumably he was also a Freemason. At the time of his enlistment at Valcartier in September 1914, he had already served for three years with the 20th Middlesex Rifles, and was an active member of the 31st British Columbia Horse, a militia regiment. His attestation paper shows that he was granted a temporary commission...
Examination of the 5th C.I.Bn. War Diaries for that period show them to have been in the forward trenches. The entry for 7th July refers to work being done to deepen and improve trenches, the need for refurbishment of the wire in no-man's-land, the dispersal of enemy working parties with rifle fire, and trouble with enemy snipers, including the killing of Capt. G.P. Bowie by a sniper's bullet...

Manly Palmer Hall was a Canadian-born author and mystic. He is perhaps most famous for his work The Secret Teachings of All Ages: An Encyclopedic Outline of Masonic, Hermetic, Qabbalistic and Rosicrucian Symbolical Philosophy, which is widely regarded as his magnum opus, and which he published at the age of 27. In 1973 (47 years after writing The Secret Teachings of All Ages), Hall was recognized as a 33º Mason (the highest honour conferred by the Supreme Council of the Scottish Rite), at a ceremony held at PRS on December 8th, despite never being initiated into the physical craft.

The H.S. Crocker Company of San Francisco agreed to publish the book "if Hall could secure the interest of book designer John Henry Nash, who once worked as a printer to the Vatican."

While various accounts state there are 54 watercolored paintings (size 9" by 13½"), done by the artist J. August Knapp "over a long period of time," and "executed from abstract ideas outlined by Mr. Hall," inspection of the 1928 edition discloses there are 47 such illustrations, of which 27 are clearly signed by Mr. Knapp. When Caroline Lloyd died in 1946, she bequeathed Hall a home, $15,000 in cash, and "a roughly $10,000 portion of her estate's annual income from shares in the world's largest oil companies for 38 years.
