Default Do we eat too many meals and snacks?

How many times a day do you eat?

I am never hungry in the morning any more, I get up at 5.30am for work.

By 10am I am hungry and eat too much :/ then I feel uncomfortable.

I'm then hungry again by 2pm and I have a snack.

Home by 5pm starving eat again, feel bloated and yuck.

Then can never sleep.

Just fed up. Wish i could live on liquid foods.

Depends on how much exercise I do on average daily.

I eat about four times a day

One meal a day, snacks in-between. Beer counts as a snack, as do cigarettes.

Yeah, usually.

If I were being more active I might stretch it to two.

It's my assertion that food ties us to the matrix reality. Maya. Earth bound 3D physical reality. I've gotten used to the low intake. But of course it's somewhat necessary otherwise we shuffle off this matrix coil completely, into the grand unknown.

Wish I could find the link someone on here once gave me, its about some Indian (Curry not Bow and Arrow) guy that hadn't eaten for years and had a young apprentice who weren't as good but hardly ate at all.
Apparently he could absorb energy through his skin or something like that.

Yeah, I remember reading something about that on DIF a few years ago. While I think it's possible, the probability is low. I remain skeptical of such things.

And life without food, although convenient and cheap, is not one I would prefer.
Though I have no fat on me, I enjoy food a lot and eat plenty.

Yes, too much sugar and carbs. A leg of lamb and water can keep me going for days.

i think ppl need reeducating on what a normal portion size is.
big plate, gotta fill it, giving adult size portions to kids, and thats not including sugary snacks and treats and drinks.

Reducing the amount eaten , and the number of meals is of key importance in staying healthy and living long .... research on rats shows this ....

I normally start physical work at 6 or 7am ... only 3 hrs work each day ... first meal is usually at midday ... and then ,only if hungry, another meal at about 6pm ...(I live in a tropical climate)

The way to master such things is to practice FASTING ...

Start with going without food for 24 hrs .... then push it up to 72 hrs ... just once a month .... this will give you control of your eating habits !!! Make you aware of when you are truly hungry and not eating out of habit .... Also you will understand your body is not just 'hungry' ... but hungry for specific foods ..very important !!

This book is a classic , free online ...

One meal a day. I Never have breakfast. No meat and dairy. Black coffee to wake up. No fear of sugar. Would never take diet advice from a tv chef or a broscientist. Walk two hours a day, hardly use car unless to go shopping for others. Exercise is the key to happiness for me, if I didn’t exert myself I’d be depressed and wouldn’t sleep.

Don't try the Atkins diet (cholesterol only foods) . When Dr Atkins died he weighed 18 stones.

Most peoples bile ducts are part blocked /restricted with a substance that is invisible on x ray (until it gets coated with minerals, then you can see it), reducing the amount of bile available for digestion, also the body uses the bile as an exit route for toxins produced in the liver, anyway to know more do some research on liver cleansing, it really works, i did it 12 times over a year or so. good luck. it also sounds like you are eating too much for your current level of digestive power. learn to feel ok with being hungry and not eating from fear based psychological reasons.
