Default I like this mini wood burning portable stove

I like how the sticks can be pushed further in as they burn away :-

Make one of these for free, they really work well and retain the heat by using a thermal jacket, I used vermiculite in my own, for lightness.



This one is cool too.

I've got one of those, only used it for tea and coffee when out in the woods but I much prefer it to a gas stove. The smell and sound of the wood burning is really nice. Plus it folds up flat and doesn't weigh much.

They are brilliant!! I'm going to try and build the paint can version.... looks incredibly simple to use. IF I get one fired up I'll post a vid...
