Wargasm Wargasm, one two three
Tie a yellow ribbon 'round the amputee
Masturbate, watch it on TV
Crocodile tears for the refugee

Wargasm Wargasm, one two three

Blue balls waiting impatiently
From Alcatraz to Lady Liberty.

Body bags and dropping bombs,
The pentagon knows how to turn us on.
Wargasm Wargasm, one two three
People, people, ecstasy
wave those flags high in the air
As long as it takes place over there.

Wargasm

Wargasm
Turn us on

L7 .....great band, great song!

I like instrumental guitar stuff and just about anything from Finland. Don't like fake metal with no solos and the really growly death metal vocals. I can go on and on about metal and guitar music.

I play guitar.....don't learn many covers...just jam on riffs and solos mostly

Music from Finland? Is it safe to say you like perhaps Korpiklaani, Finntroll, Ensiferum or more so the likes of Nightwish?

I love Folk/Viking metal although I favor power and that music you dislike Black metal and some death metal.

How good are you?

Yeah all those bands... and the whole melodic death metal thing as well, Bodom, Norther, Kalmah, etc... and Turisas. And yeah, I like most of those chick singer bands as well. I don't mind screaming vocals, just don't like the ones where the guy tries to get the lowest growl he can. Like Arch Enemy too. I don't know too much technical stuff but am OK at improvising solos over rythyms(sp?). LOVE Michael Schenker and 70's Scorpions/UFO and Firewind is one of the best straightforward metal bands around. Are you good?

I'm not sure, I have been playing for a couple years now. I originally started playing guitar but switched. I think I play on time and I am decent.

So do you play in a band or with anybody? We had a band a few yrs ago and just when started getting halfway together the drummer got religion and since we jammed at his house it pretty stopped it dead...... and then he threw out all his cd's and concert dvd's too....which he now regrets! Speaking black metal, I saw Dimmu Borgir live a few yrs ago and loved it..... sooo f*cking heavy live...... same for Lamb of God.

...yeah bass is interesting....on one hand it seems simple but to be really good at it you have to get that timing down and be able to keep the bottom steady no matter what the others are doing.... you got any favorite bassists? ....and how about a few bands you like?

all I know how to do is to write. Could this fit into the picture somehow? Maybe I can help out in more pragmatic ways?

Someone PLEASE tell me what to do!!!

Seriously though, just thinking out loud. I live in Sweden, by the way, in a very perpheral village.

Love

Kara

I hope I could help somehow, Birmingham's the nearest big place.

A giant jam session!??!?

I've got a mate who says he'll do some artwork - posters, whatever.

Collaboration's a lovely word.

p.s. lay off the metallers!
