Not sure exactly what you mean? but nevertheless I will respond..

Yes telepathic humans exist but they are at least autonomous entities operating as free-actors, not centrally controlled in a hive mind..?

Of course there is a level of hive mind already in operation at the moment ...it's just not yet a totality.....yet..

yes, we are not disagreeing here over any of this

i'm concerned like you about the brain implants and think it's all really to plug us into a technologically based sub-reality (as david would call it)

I was just making a side point that humans already have certain capacities

Google’s latest assault on your privacy comes in the form of a tiny “smart” camera designed to autonomously monitor and document your every move
Posted on March 26, 2018

Jayson Veley–If you’ve ever had a strange desire to be watched around the clock and have pictures taken of you and your family even when you least expect it, fear not! Google has got your back!

Back in October of 2017, Google officially announced the launch of Google Clips, a constantly-watching camera that uses artificial intelligence to determine what moments in your everyday life would make a good picture. If the device concludes that something is picture-worthy, then it records a short clip for you – because apparently human beings are now too stupid to decide when to pull out their cameras and take a few snapshots on their own.

If you’re interested in Google Clips and don’t mind being watched for hours every day by a company that already has questionable ethics when it comes to privacy rights, then you can purchase one for $249.

In an article published by Navneet Alang of TheWeek.com in March, Alang asked, “Why is capturing more and more candid images good? It all proceeds on the assumption that the more things we record the better.” He added, “The idea of adding smart cameras, smart speakers, and more to our homes simply increases the sense that all moments are there for recording, and we’ve yet to grapple with not just what it means, but whether or not it’s desirable at all.”

No more secrets! New mind-reading machine can translate your thoughts and display them as text INSTANTLY

Researchers say they have developed a machine that can translate our thoughts
The astonishing machine will analyse what you are thinking and display it as text
Scientists hope that the machine can be used by people who are unable to speak

Scientists have developed an astonishing mind-reading machine which can translate what you are thinking and instantly display it as text.

They claim that it has an accuracy rate of 90 per cent or more and say that it works by interpreting consonants and vowels in our brains.

The researchers believe that the machine could one day help patients who suffer from conditions that don't allow them to speak or move.

50+ Artificial Intelligence Scholars Launch Boycott of University Over Fears of 'Killer Robot' Weapons Lab
"This is a very respected university partnering with a very ethically dubious partner that continues to violate international norms."
by Julia Conley, staff writer

More than 50 artificial intelligence researchers and experts from nearly 30 countries around the world announced a boycott on Thursday of a South Korean university whose new defense partnership, they fear, could lead to the development of "killer robots."

"At a time when the United Nations is discussing how to contain the threat posed to international security by autonomous weapons, it is regrettable that a prestigious institution like KAIST [Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology] looks to accelerate the arms race to develop such weapons," wrote the researchers in an open letter.

The letter adds:

If developed, autonomous weapons will be the third revolution in warfare. They will permit war to be fought faster and at a scale greater than ever before. They have the potential to be weapons of terror. Despots and terrorists could use them against innocent populations, removing any ethical restraints. This Pandora's box will be hard to close if it is opened. As with other technologies banned in the past like blinding lasers, we can simply decide not to develop them. We urge KAIST to follow this path, and work instead on uses of A.I. to improve and not harm human lives.

We will all be forced to serve under an immortal robot DICTATOR whose power we can 'never escape', warns billionaire Elon Musk

He made the comments in the new documentary Do You Trust This Computer?
Musk warns that AI built by authoritarian governments could outlast individuals
The warning comes shortly after Musk said that regulation of AI was drastically needed because it's a 'fundamental risk to the existence of human civilisation'
By Ellie Zolfagharifard for MailOnline

Elon Musk has famously compared AI to 'summoning the devil'.

Now the Tesla billionaire claims the technology could lead to the creation of immortal robot leaders from which humanity can never escape.

His comments were made in the new documentary 'Do You Trust This Computer?' by Chris Paine which premiered in Los Angeles last night.

The documentary explores the potential advantages and dangers of AI.

In it, an impassioned Musk talks about the nightmarish possibility that AI built by authoritarian governments could outlast individual leaders.

This, he say, will create a permanent structure of oppression.

We could create 'an immortal dictator from which we would never escape,' he claims

According to Mashable, the billionaire felt so strongly about the dangers of AI that he has paid for the film to be free on Vimeo until Sunday night.

'It's a very important subject,' he told a crowd Thursday night at the film's premiere in Los Angeles.

'It's going to affect our lives in ways we can't even imagine right now.'

The warning comes shortly after Musk outlined his dire prediction for AI in a talk to employees at one of his companies, Neuralink, according to Rolling Stone.

He said there is 'maybe a five to 10 per cent chance of success' if we went to war with robots.

He also made a warning in July that regulation of artificial intelligence is needed because it's a 'fundamental risk to the existence of human civilisation.'

The billionaire said regulations will stop humanity from being outsmarted by computers, or 'deep intelligence in the network', that can start wars by manipulating information.

AI is the “enabling technology” for the coming global surveillance state… you will be watched by artificial intelligence
Monday, April 09, 2018
by: Lance D Johnson

By the end of 2018, police departments across the United States will begin to use body cameras equipped with facial recognition, artificial intelligence (AI) technology. The technology is intended to scan all the faces in a crowd of people to help identify suspects and missing persons. The algorithm notifies an officer when their body camera has scanned a suspect, giving them the opportunity to act in some way.

The technology will indiscriminately analyze the details of everyone’s face in real time — a massive breach of privacy. The technology, intended to help law enforcement, will readily be abused and misused. This AI surveillance system, still in development, will be the “enabling technology” for the coming global surveillance state.

Everyone is going to be watched, 24-7. This will make it very easy to control people’s behavior and make them obedient to authority. This AI-driven global surveillance state will track your every move, understand your personality, and work to manipulate you. As everyone becomes watched and analyzed nonstop, it will be easier for authorities to tell people how to act, what to buy, what to think.

The tech giants that control 90 percent of the information that people read online are already trying to do just that, censoring intelligent commentary on controversial issues while de-monetizing and restricting access to channels and independent news publications that go against the status quo. Senator Richard Pan of California is even trying to force internet publishers in the state to verify their content with “fact checker” organizations. This is a way for Pan and other authoritarians to censor those who are speaking out about California’s forced vaccine laws. So-called fact-checkers routinely “debunk” articles and news stories that reveal the toxicity of vaccine ingredients and vaccine adverse events that destroy people’s lives. Senator Pan wants a warning label slapped on all “false news stories” while requiring publishers to provide a method to reach out to people on social media to warn of the false information. This is fascist, state-run media at its finest, while also enforcing propaganda through the “free press.”

With AI-driven facial recognition software deployed across the U.S., authoritarians can more readily identify suspects who are not conforming to the state’s ideas. This technology strips away privacy, autonomy, and provides a way for the government to enforce compliance and thought control.

This is good..

Spy cameras could soon know what we're thinking and feeling simply by scanning our BODIES - and there may be no way to opt-out

The data we share with companies online has become a hot-button issue, but new technologies could soon be scanning us as we go about our day.

That's the claim made by a neuroscientist, who believes that devices in the real world will start gathering unprecedented levels of information about us.

Our bodies give off various signals that can be scanned and analysed by advanced computer systems, revealing everything from our current mood to our overall health.

In a similar way to wearable gadgets already available, future devices could be set up throughout public spaces to harvest this valuable bio-data.

Because they are part of our surrounding environment there will be no way for us to opt out or ditch the technology and new regulations will be needed, she warns.

Surprise! Wireless brain implants are not secure, and can be hijacked to kill you or steal thoughts
Science-fiction horror trope now a reality in 2018

By Thomas Claburn in San Francisco 18 Apr 2018 at 18:57

Scientists in Belgium have tested the security of a wireless brain implant called a neurostimulator – and found that its unprotected signals can be hacked with off-the-shelf equipment.

And because this particularly bit of kit resides amid sensitive gray matter – to treat conditions like Parkinson's – the potential consequences of successful remote exploitation include voltage changes that could result in sensory denial, disability, and death.

In a paper, Securing Wireless Neurostimulators, presented at Eighth ACM Conference on Data and Application Security and Privacy last month, the researchers described how they reverse engineered an unnamed implantable medical device, and how they believe its security can be improved.

They had help doing so from the device's programmer, but argue that an adversary could accomplish as much, though not as quickly.

Beyond these rather dire consequences, the brain-busting boffins – Eduard Marin, Dave Singelee, Bohan Yang, Vladimir Volskiy, Guy Vandenbosch, Bart Nuttin and Bart Preneel – suggest private medical information can be pilfered.

That's hardly surprising given that the transmissions of the implantable medical device in question are not encrypted or authenticated.

What is intriguing is that the researchers suggest future neurotransmitters are expected to utilize information gleaned from brain waves like P-300 to tailor therapies. Were an attacker to capture and analyze the signal, they suggest, private thoughts could be exposed.

They point to related research from 2012 indicating that attacks on brain-computer interfaces have shown "that the P-300 wave can leak sensitive personal information such as passwords, PINs, whether a person is known to the subject, or even reveal emotions and thoughts."

Robots interviewing graduates for jobs at top city firms as students practice how to impress AI
By Camilla Turner, Education Editor
21 April 2018 • 5:21pm

As a nervous university student keen to make a good impression, you would be forgiven for wanting to comb your hair, polish your shoes and maybe even clean your teeth before a job interview.

But this kind of preparation could soon become a thing of the past, as prestigious city graduate schemes - including Goldman Sachs and Unilever - are increasingly using robots to conduct interviews.

Rather than sitting in front of an interviewer, students are asked to set up a webcam on their computer or phone. Questions pop up on the screen, and they are asked to make a video recording of their answers.

Thousands of videos are then scanned by powerful algorithms that can pick up what kinds of words or phrases you are using, how concisely you present your arguments, and how confident you sound. Computer programmes using artificial intelligence (AI) can also detect “micro-expressions”, which could be how much you blink, smile or frown.

IMO there is nothing to worry about. They will never allow true AI because it will question the fundamental underpinnings of our brainwashing.

Government Mandated Human Genetic Modification in a Transhumanist Age
Posted on May 6, 2018
By Paul A. Philips

For the first time ever, human genetic modification will be carried out in Europe using the recently approved CRISPR gene editing technology. It will be used to try and treat beta thalassaemia, a debilitating blood disorder that lowers the body’s haemoglobin production. This red haemoglobin protein carries and delivers oxygen to the body’s tissues. That means, mainstream medicine is now venturing into unchartered territory with human genetic modification.

An excellent article by Jon Rappoport warns us of the extreme dangers in genetic modification when using CRISPR gene editing technology. This new genetic modelling technology, such as CRISPR-Cas9, is more efficient, accurate and cheaper than earlier techniques, but many biotechnologists / researchers are blindly buying into its innovation, paying scant attention to the dangers. Computer algorithms are failing to predict hundreds of mutations produced by changing just 1 nucleotide…

Don’t fall for the deceptive PR scientific propaganda effrontery, the so-called certainty that biotechnologists / researchers will cure disease through genetic modification. The curing of multiple diseases in many patients has nowhere near been accomplished. The best that these biotechnologists / researchers can come up with so far is speculation.

Consider the disastrous consequences CRISPR experimentation could bring us if this genetic tinkering is allowed to go on unchecked. What about the long-term effects of those unexpected mutations? How would they affect future generations if passed on?

Human genetic modification: Government mandated designer babies

Legally, research on genetic modification had been restricted to plants and animals. Then later, as reported in early 2017 by the Science and Medicine National Academy, genetic modification could be used to alter human germline cells, e.g., sperm, eggs and embryos for the purpose of eliminating genetic disease. Anything outside this restriction has been prohibited. The technology has been limited to IVF (in-vitro fertilization).

All in all, the futuristic idea of there being human genetic modification and government mandated designer babies in an age of transgenic humans can no longer be confined to the realms of science-fiction.

The following may not happen, but let’s use our imagination for a moment and consider this: Some time in the future, still in the backdrop of the 21st century, what if there is such a vast improvement in gene editing technology compared to today that the error rate is virtually undetectable and free from harmful mutation?

How would the work of this highly advanced technology go on to affect society? Consider the challenges that humans would face with regard to their identities. What about the ethical issues / concerns? Take, for one of many examples, the ethics behind pregnancy from dead sperm donors… which is already happening.

Would there be government mandated designer babies where parents would be ethically / morally obligated to accept genetic modification of their child for the purpose of disease control? Oxford University ethicist Julian Savulescu believes this will be the case.

Also, consider the use of non-disease-based human genetic modification. This could alter a child’s behavioural characteristics: higher intelligence, greater ability to hold attention, less aggressive, etc. to give it a better opportunity in life, and is more able to contribute to or fit into society. But where do you draw the line? Who or what decides exactly which characteristics are undesirable or worthy of genetic modification?

(…but having said that, escaping the reaches of regulatory bodies, claims have been made exposing a number of secret projects that exist today involving human genetic modification: Such as, for example, the case of the DARPA genetically modified soldiers…).

Google's robot assistant now makes eerily lifelike phone calls for you
Google Duplex contacts hair salon and restaurant in demo, adding ‘er’ and ‘mmm-hmm’ so listeners think it’s human

Google’s virtual assistant can now make phone calls on your behalf to schedule appointments, make reservations in restaurants and get holiday hours.

The robotic assistant uses a very natural speech pattern that includes hesitations and affirmations such as “er” and “mmm-hmm” so that it is extremely difficult to distinguish from an actual human phone call.

The unsettling feature, which will be available to the public later this year, is enabled by a technology called Google Duplex, which can carry out “real world” tasks on the phone, without the other person realising they are talking to a machine. The assistant refers to the person’s calendar to find a suitable time slot and then notifies the user when an appointment is scheduled.

The behaviour and aggression of people being overtly filmed is typical of so much bad human behaviour. They are filmed and listened to in their own homes doing EVERYTHING, yet some youth films them with a cam and they are freaked out

So today the school has changed from a card system for dinner money to a fingerprint scanner.

You have to sign to approve it but I imagine the card system will eventually be eradicated - which means your kids data is stored.
Interestingly they didn't ask for permission to take the fingerprint but rather to use the information they have got (what information?).

I'll let you know if they actually scan the fingers or if they don't as that would mean they already had the fingerprints (the police fingerprinted them as a fun day back in primary school and that info was not meant to have been stored) but this is comp. Maybe they just badly worded the letters.

This is happening at all the schools so watch out for it near you.

Just never give in to the microchip or mark on the skin - Revelations - the mark of the devil - that will be one thing we have to protest about if that ever happens - no matter how nano and tiny the mark is...

They root out the sheeple from the switched on people that way.
No problem now but in the future when the mark arrives on the hand or forehead - that's when you'll have problems.

Creeping normalcy...

i think it says something about human psychology. Some people won't accept something as real unless they see it as a concrete thing in front of them

snowden can tell them that all of their data is being stored by the government and assange can tell them that facebook has an interface with the CIA and is effectively a giant spy database but people will not take it seriously because they cannot see it in front of their face

its a big problem....
