Default The Icke Forum, Myers-Briggs Test

This test as accurate now as it was five year ago when I took it first. I have a feeling this forum will generate a lot of the same rare personality types, too much for coincidence. Could be interesting.

Take test http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/JTypes2.asp

Heres the 16 personality types in case you just want to read them http://typelogic.com/enfp.html or http://www.personalitypage.com/html/portraits.html

I still get INFJ which it assures me is the rarest personality type at 1% of the population

Introverted Intuitive Feeling Judging

Beneath the quiet exterior, INFJs hold deep convictions about the weightier matters of life. Those who are activists -- INFJs gravitate toward such a role -- are there for the cause, not for personal glory or political power.

INFJs are champions of the oppressed and downtrodden. They often are found in the wake of an emergency, rescuing those who are in acute distress. INFJs may fantasize about getting revenge on those who victimize the defenseless. The concept of 'poetic justice' is appealing to the INFJ."There's som..

taken this years ago too, ENFP champion idealist.

The descriptions given of the types on the link supplied in the OP are a bit limited and a bit shit. Best searching for your type individually and looking for a more comprehensive explanation.

Famous INTPs:
Socrates
Rene Descartes
Blaise Pascal
Sir Isaac Newton
C. G. Jung, (Freudian defector, author of Psychological Types, etc.)
William James
Albert Einstein
Charles Darwin

INTPs are pensive, analytical folks. They may venture so deeply into thought as to seem detached, and often actually are oblivious to the world around them.

Precise about their descriptions, INTPs will often correct others (or be sorely tempted to) if the shade of meaning is a bit off. While annoying to the less concise, this fine discrimination ability gives INTPs so inclined a natural advantage as, for example, grammarians and linguists.

INTPs are relatively easy-going and amenable to almost anything until their principles are violated, about which they may become outspoken and inflexible. They prefer to return, however, to a reserved albeit benign ambiance, not wishing to make spectacles of themselves.

Understanding, exploring, mastering, and manipulating systems can overtake the INTP's conscious thought. This fascination for logical wholes and their inner workings is often expressed in a detachment from the environment, a concentration where time is forgotten and extraneous stimuli are held at bay. Accomplishing a task or goal with this knowledge is secondary.

Interestingly, ENFP is more likely to be female.

Rarest type is INTJ female. Somehow I managed to find (unintentionally) and date three of them :P

Intuition is the rarest, no matter what the rest of the MBTI says. 75% sensing vs about 25% intuitives.

Intuitives are more common on Internet forums, I believe.

My parents are/were (father passed away) INFJ and INTJ

Which might explain why I have an unusually high IQ for an ENFP (and why was able to bring my left brain more into balance with my naturally leaning right brain):

I can call upon the shadow functions of the IN*J's sometimes, if/when necessary (stress is often a factor).

ENFPs are global learners. Close enough is satisfactory to the ENFP, which may unnerve more precise thinking types, especially with such things as piano practice ("three quarter notes or four ... what's the difference?") Amazingly, some ENFPs are adept at exacting disciplines such as mathematics.

More recently, typologists such as John Beebe and Linda Berens have introduced theoretical systems in which all people possess eight functions—equivalent to the four functions as defined by Jung and Myers but in each of the two possible attitudes—with the four in the opposite attitude to that measured known as the "shadow functions", residing largely in the unconscious.

I think ESFPs have ENFPs beat by quite a bit insofar as people skills. I think the iNtuition can make us a bit moody at times (when combined with other traits) even though it generally helps us with insight regarding people. But maybe thats just my experience.

Famous ENFPs?

Trouble makers/champions? (depending on perspective I guess). Trotsky, Che Guevara, to name a couple.

Than there is Mark Twain and Dr Seuss. I'd most rather be like Dr Seuss and write silly children books (and maybe a few adult related erotic stories under a pseudonym, lol).
