Exclamation There is no Time

Quote:
Abstract 5-dimensional space occurs frequently in mathematics, and is a legitimate construct. Whether or not the real universe in which we live is somehow five-dimensional is a topic that is debated and explored in several branches of physics, including astrophysics and particle physics...

In physics, the fifth dimension is a hypothetical extra dimension beyond the usual three spatial dimensions and one time dimension of Relativity. The Kaluza–Klein theory used the fifth dimension to unify gravity with the electromagnetic force; e.g. Minkowski space and Maxwell's equations in vacuum can be embedded in a five-dimensional Riemann curvature tensor. Kaluza–Klein theory today is seen as essentially a gauge theory, with gauge group the circle group. M-theory suggests that space–time has 11 dimensions, se7en of which are "rolled up" to below the subatomic level.. Physicists have speculated that the graviton, a particle thought to carry the force of gravity, may "leak" into the fifth or higher dimensions, which would explain how gravity is significantly weaker than the other 3 fundamental forces..

THE 5TH DIMENSION - AQUARIUS - LET THE SUNSHINE IN ..

In popular usage, the "fifth dimension" is often used to refer to unexplored or unknown aspects of the universe, and not necessarily to the mathematical concept of a 5-dimensional space. For example, the opening narration of The Twilight Zone begins: "There is a fifth dimension, beyond that which is known to man." In the fictional universe of DC Comics, the "fifth dimension" is said to be the place from which Mister Mxyzptlk, a Superman villain, comes. The 1965 Lost in Space TV show episode “Invaders from the Fifth Dimension” features hostile aliens from the fifth dimension, and the Robot describes their spaceship by saying: “The craft is surrounded by a force field in the fifth dimension, which is... mathematically... impossible.” In 1966, The Byrds released an album titled Fifth Dimension, using the fifth dimension as a metaphor for unexplored and unknown aspects of the universe and oneself. The 5th Dimension is the name of an American vocal music group popular in the late 1960s and early 1970s. In Hindu philosophy, the fifth dimension of love of the Divine is termed by the Gaudiya Vaisnavas as turyatita, the dimension of the soul's Soul.. The original Doctor Who episode hints at the 5th dimension being key to the abilities of the TARDIS..

In five-dimensional geometry, a 5-simplex is a self-dual regular 5-polytope. It has 6 vertices, 15 edges, 20 triangle faces, 15 tetrahedral cells, and 6 pentachoron facets. It has a dihedral angle of cos−1(1/5), or approximately 78.46°..It can also be called a hexateron, or hexa-5-tope, as a 6-facetted polytope in 5-dimensions.. The name hexateron is derived from hexa- for having 6 facets and teron (with ter- being a corruption of tetra-) for having 4-dimensional facets..The hexateron can also be considered a pentachoral pyramid, constructed as a pentachoron base in a 4-space hyperplane, and an apex point above the hyperplane.. The 5 sides of the pyramid are made of pentachoral cells...

Arrow Dynasty V

Dynasty Opening Theme (Season 1)...
Quote:
The Fifth Dynasty of ancient Egypt is often combined with Dynasties III, IV and VI under the group title the Old Kingdom.. The Fifth Dynasty dates approximately from 2494 to 2345 BCE..Manetho writes that the Dynasty V kings ruled from Elephantine, but archeologists have found evidence clearly showing that their palaces were still located at Ineb-hedj ("White Walls")..As before, expeditions were sent to Wadi Maghara and Wadi Kharit in the Sinai to mine for turquoise and copper, and to quarries northwest of Abu Simbel for gneiss. Trade expeditions were sent south to Punt to obtain malachite, myrrh, and electrum, and archeological finds at Byblos attest to diplomatic expeditions sent to that Phoenician city..

How Pharaoh Userkaf founded this dynasty is not known for certain.. The Papyrus Westcar, which was written during the Middle Kingdom, tells a story of how king Khufu of Dynasty IV was given a prophecy that triplets born to the wife of the priest of Ra in Sakhbu would overthrow him and his heirs, and how he attempted to put these children - named Userkaf, Sahure, and Neferirkare - to death; however in recent years, scholars have recognized this story to be at best a legend, and admit their ignorance over how the transition from one dynasty to another transpired..During this dynasty, Egyptian religion made several important changes. The earliest known copies of funerary prayers inscribed on royal tombs (known as the Pyramid Texts) appear. The cult of the god Ra gains added importance, and kings from Userkaf through Menkauhor Kaiu built temples dedicated to Ra at or near Abusir. Then late in this dynasty, the cult of Osiris assumes importance, most notably in the inscriptions found in the tomb of Unas..

Userkaf was the founder of the Fifth dynasty of Egypt and the first pharaoh to start the tradition of building sun temples at Abusir.. His name means "his Ka (or soul) is powerful". He ruled from 2494-2487 BC and constructed the Pyramid of Userkaf complex at Saqqara..Another less common view, in concordance with a story of the Westcar Papyrus, is that the first three rulers of the fifth dynasty were brothers—the sons of a woman named Raddjedet..The exact duration of Userkaf's reign is unknown. Userkaf is given a reign of 7 years by the Turin Royal Canon while Africanus states that Manetho's Epitome attributes him 28 years of reign. The Palermo stone describes the year of the 3rd cattle count under Userkaf, which would correspond to his 6th year on the throne as the cattle count was generally, but not necessarily, biennial during the Old Kingdom..Userkaf's reign might have witness a recrudescence of trade between Egypt and its Mediterranean neighbours thanks to a series of naval expeditions, which are represented in his mortuary temple..In the periods after the New Kingdom, when several cities in the Delta served as capital of Egypt, Saqqara remained in use as a burial ground for nobles.. Moreover the area became an important destination for pilgrims to a number of cult centres. Activities sprang up around the Serapeum, and extensive underground galleries were cut into the rock as burial sites for large amounts of mummified ibises, baboons, cats, dogs, and falcons..During routine excavations in 2011 at the dog catacomb in Saqqara necropolis, an excavation team led by Salima Ikram, and an international team of researchers led by Paul Nicholson of Cardiff University, uncovered almost 8 million animal mummies at the burial site.. It is thought that the mummified animals, mostly dogs, were intended to pass on prayers of their owners to their Gods...

Userkaf most innovative monument is undoubtedly his sun temple at Abu Gorab..It is believed that the construction of the sun temple marks a shift from the royal cult, so preponderant during the early 4th dynasty, to the cult of the sun god Re. The king was not revered directly as a god anymore but rather as the son of Re and this, in turn, changed the royal mortuary cult..In this context, the sun temple, oriented to the west, was a place of worship for the setting (i.e. dying) sun and was thought of as a part of the royal mortuary complex. For this reason, the sun temple shares many architectural elements with the pyramid complex itself: it comprises a high temple build around a large obelisk and a causeway leads to a rectangular valley temple, close to the Nile..

The canopic jars were 4 in number, each for the safekeeping of particular human organs: the stomach, intestines, lungs, and liver, all of which, it was believed, would be needed in the afterlife..Early canopic jars were placed inside a canopic chest and buried in tombs together with the sarcophagus of the dead.. Later, they were sometimes arranged in rows beneath the bier, or at the 4 corners of the chamber.. After the early periods there were usually inscriptions on the outsides of the jars, sometimes quite long and complex.. The scholar Sir Ernest Budge quoted an inscription from the Saïte or Ptolemaic period that begins: "Thy bread is to thee. Thy beer is to thee. Thou livest upon that on which Ra lives.." Other inscriptions tell of purification in the afterlife..There was no jar for the heart: the Egyptians believed it to be the seat of the soul, and so it was left inside the body..Queen Hetepheres I 4th dynasty.. One of the oldest known uses of Egyptian canopic jars..

Quote:
The permanent members of the United Nations Security Council, also known as the Permanent Five, Big Five, or P5, include the following five governments: China, France, Russia, the United Kingdom, and the United States.. The members represent the countries considered the victors of World War II, including France, which was one of the overrun countries of Europe that was liberated through the efforts of Canada, the Free French Forces, the United Kingdom and the United States.. Each of the permanent members has power to veto, enabling them to prevent the adoption of any "substantive" draft Council resolution, regardless of the level of international support for the draft..Take an institution, a technology, a method, or even an ideology that has been forgotten or discarded and appropriate it for your own purpose.. Revive something from the past by giving it a new purpose or bring to life old ideas, customs, or traditions and reinterpret them to fit your purposes.

The 5 permanent members of the Security Council were the victorious phowers in World War II and have maintained the world's most powerful military forces ever since. Until 2012 (when Japan surpassed France), they annually topped the list of countries with the highest military expenditures..In 2013, they spent over US$1 trillion combined on defence, accounting for over 55% of global military expenditures (the US alone accounting for over 35%)..Along with the five permanent members, the Security Council has temporary members that hold their seats on a rotating basis by geographic region. In its first two decades, the Security Council had six non-permanent members, the first of which were Australia, Brazil, Egypt, Mexico, the Netherlands, and Poland.. In 1965, the number of non-permanent members was expanded to 10...

Sheena EasTon - My Baby Takes The Morning Train...
Quote:
The Iranian Embassy siege took place from 30 April to 5 May 1980, after a group of 6 armed men stormed the Iranian embassy in South Kensington, London.. The gunmen took 26 people hostage—mostly embassy staff, but several visitors and a police officer, who had been guarding the embassy, were also held. The hostage-takers, members of an Iranian Arab group campaigning for Arab national sovereignty in the southern region of Khūzestān Province, demanded the release of Arab prisoners from jails in Khūzestān and their own safe passage out of the United Kingdom.. The British government quickly resolved that safe passage would not be granted, and a siege ensued.. Over the following days, police negotiators secured the release of 5 hostages in exchange for minor concessions, such as the broadcasting of the hostage-takers' demands on British television..It was not until 1993 that 16 Princes Gate, having suffered major damage from a fire that broke out during the assault, was reopened as the Iranian embassy...

Oan announced that a hostage had been killed, and the rest would die in 30 minutes unless his demands were met..After Lavasani's body had been recovered, Sir David McNee, Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police, contacted the Home Secretary to request approval to hand control of the operation over to the British Army, under the provisions of Military Aid to the Civil Power..The 2 SAS teams on-scene—Red Team and Blue Team—were ordered to begin their simultaneous assaults, under the codename Operation Nimrod, at 7:23.. Lightbulb Yitzhak

Why are We Fighting? ليش نتعارك؟ Leysh Nat'arak?
Quote:
Yitzhak's mother, Rosa Cohen, was born in 1890 in Mogilev in Belarus.. Her father, a rabbi, opposed the Zionist movement and sent Rosa to a Christian high school for girls in Gomel, which gave her a broad general education. Early on, Rosa took an interest in political and social causes.. In 1919, she traveled to the region on the steamship Ruslan.. After working on a kibbutz on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, she moved to JerusalemRabin grew up in Tel Aviv, where the family relocated when he was one year old.. In 1940, he graduated with distinction from the Kadoorie Agricultural High School and hoped to be an irrigation engineer..However, apart from several courses in military strategy in the United Kingdom later on, he never pursued a degree..Rabin married Leah Schloßberg during the 1948 Arab–Israeli War. Leah Rabin was working at the time as a reporter for a Palmach newspaper.. They had two children, Dalia (born 19 March 1950) and Yuval (born 18 June 1955)...

Rabin was non-religious; according to American diplomat Dennis Ross, Rabin was the most secular Jew he had met in Israel..In October 1945 Rabin was in charge of planning and later executing an operation for the release of interned immigrants from the Atlit detainee camp for Jewish illegal immigrants. In the Black Shabbat, a massive British operation against the leaders of the Jewish Establishment in the British Mandate of Palestine, Rabin was arrested and detained for 5 months..In the following period he was the deputy commander of Operation Danny, the largest scale operation to that point, which involved four IDF brigades..Following his retirement from the IDF he became ambassador to the United States beginning in 1968, serving for 5 years..Following Golda Meir's resignation in April 1974, Rabin was elected party leader, after he defeated Shimon Peres..Rabin succeeded Golda Meir as Prime Minister of Israel on 3 June 1974. This was a coalition government, including Ratz, the Independent Liberals, Progress and Development and the Arab List for Bedouins and Villagers..In foreign policy, the major development at the beginning of Rabin's term was the Sinai Interim Agreement between Israel and Egypt, signed on 1 September 1975.. Both countries declared that the conflict between them and in the Middle East shall not be resolved by military force but by peaceful means..

Towards the end of 1976 his coalition government with the religious parties suffered a crisis: A motion of no confidence had been brought by Agudat Yisrael over a breach of the Sabbath on an Israeli Air Force base when four F-15 jets were delivered from the US and the National Religious Party had abstained.. Rabin dissolved his government and decided on new elections, which were to be held in May 1977..Rabin resigned on 8 April 1977, following the revelation by Maariv journalist S. Isaac Mekel that the Rabins held 2 accounts in Washington, not one, containing $10,000, and that a Finance Ministry administrative penalty committee fined them IL150,000..

When the first Intifada broke out, Rabin adopted harsh measures to stop the demonstrations, even authorising the use of "Force, might and beatings," on the demonstrators..Rabid the "bone breaker" was used as an International image..In 1990 to 1992, Rabin again served as a Knesset member and sat on the Foreign Affairs and Defence Committee..Rabin played a leading role in the signing of the Oslo Accords, which created the Palestinian National Authority and granted it partial control over parts of the Gaza Strip and West Bank. Prior to the signing of the accords, Rabin received a letter from PLO chairman Yasser Arafat renouncing violence and officially recognising Israel, and on the same day, 9 September 1993, Rabin sent Arafat a letter officially recognising the PLO..Rabin played a leading role in the signing of the Oslo Accords, which created the Palestinian National Authority and granted it partial control over parts of the Gaza Strip and West Bank...After the historical handshake with Yasser Arafat, Rabin said, on behalf of the Israeli people: "We who have fought against you, the Palestinians, we say to you today, in a loud and a clear voice, enough of blood and tears ... enough!"...

It served with 8th Division on the Western Front in World War I before becoming V Army Brigade, RHA in January 1917..The successor unit, 5th Regiment, RHA, was formed in 1939 and still exists as 5th Regiment Royal Artillery..The brigade had an earlier incarnation as E Brigade, RHA, formed from the Horse Artillery Brigade of the Honourable East India Company's Bombay Army in 1862 before being broken up in 1877..5th Regiment Royal Artillery is a regiment of the Royal Artillery in the British Army. It currently serves in the Surveillance and Target Acquisition role and is equipped with radars and acoustic sound ranging equipment; it also provides Special Observation Post teams..The regiment was formed as 5th Regiment Royal Horse Artillery on 25 November 1939 at Wotton-under-Edge, Gloucestershire and consisted of K Battery (the Riding Troop at St John's Wood) and G Battery (Mercers Troop) (from 4th RHA)..Along with 7th Armoured Division, the regiment fought throughout the Western Desert and, for a limited period, took part in the Italian Campaign.. On return to the UK in early 1944, it took part in the Normandy landings and fought in Northwest Europe to VE Day.. In 1946, CC Battery became C Battery...

Because of the reorganisation of the Royal Horse Artillery in 1958, the regiment became the 5th Field Regiment RA. On 1 February 1958, C Battery moved to 3rd RHA and G Battery (Mercer's Troop) moved to 4th RHA.. P Battery (The Dragon Troop) left 4th RHA and Q (Sanna's Post) Battery moved from 10th Field Regiment on 5 February 1958 to join K Battery and form the regiment.. After a short period near Crickhowell, the regiment left the UK in September 1958 for a 3-year tour of Hong Kong.. After an tour equipped with 25 lb guns, the regiment returned to Salisbury Plain in Southern England in October 1961 as 5 Light Regiment RA..During its stay at Perham Down, the regiment had many equipment changes. In 1961, K Battery had 5.5" guns, while P and Q Batteries were equipped with 25 pdrs; then, in 1962, all batteries were allotted 4.2" mortars as well as other guns. In 1963, the regiment converted to 105mm Pack Howitzers and took part in exercises in Libya, Canada and Norway with this versatile new gun..Once again K Battery had 5.5" guns and P and Q Batteries 25 pounders, but these later gave way to the Abbot Self Propelled (SP) gun in 1966..The next 3 years at Bulford were dominated by 4 emergency tours of Northern Ireland (NI).. The regiment was mostly operating in the Londonderry area and had 3 fatalities from terrorist actions. At this time, the regiment was equipped with the 105mm pack howitzer (towed by Landrover) and served in the light airborne role..

After 12 years at Tofrek Barracks in Hildesheim, the regiment moved to West Riding Barracks in Dortmund in 1984. 18 (Quebec 1759) Battery and Q (Sanna's Post) Battery (which was renamed as 74 Battery (the Battle-Axe Company)) left the regiment to join 32 Heavy Regiment RA.. 73 (Sphinx) Locating Battery moved from 94 Locating Regiment to 5th Regiment in January 1985 and was renamed Q (Sanna's Post) Battery..In late 1993, the regiment carried out a Regimental Arms Plot from Dortmund to Catterick in North Yorkshire. After nearly nine months of unsettled transit period working in Towthorpe line, Strensall, near York, the regiment moved into the former RAF Catterick Barracks, now renamed Marne Barracks, formerly RAF Catterick, is a former Royal Air Force airfield located near Catterick, North Yorkshire in England.. It is located alongside the A1 on the outskirts of Catterick Village. Operationally it falls under the command of Catterick Garrison. It currently houses 5th Regiment Royal Artillery and the 1st Battalion Mercian Regiment (formerly the Cheshire Regiment)..The barracks have had upgraded accommodation installed as part of Project SLAM (Single Living Accommodation Modernisation). This has been undertaken by Corus.. BAM Construction have also undertaken the conversion of some of the old RAF hangars to maintenance depots for the Land Rovers utilised by the two regiments..

Londis is the name for 2 convenience store franchises operating in the UK and Ireland.. The stores form a symbol group and are all owned on a franchise basis. The parent company for Londis is Musgrave Retail Partners Ltd. It was renamed Bataafsche Aanneming Maatschappij van Bouw- en Betonwerken ('BAM') in 1927 and expanded through acquisition buying Interbuild in 1998, NBM-Amstelland in 2000 and Hollandsche Beton Groep (later HBG) in 2002..The company was part of the Infraspeed consortium which handed over the HSL-Zuid high-speed railway line for commercial use in 2009..The company built the Liver Building completed in 1911 and was later involved in projects to build the Queensway Tunnel under the Mersey completed in 1932..The company is also involved in the construction of the Crossrail railway line in the UK..Great Yarmouth Outer Harbour is a port constructed on the east coast of England at Great Yarmouth.. Construction work on the Outer Harbour began in June 2007... The harbour which is built in the South Denes area was planned to bring trade to the area.. The plans included a container terminal and a passenger ferry terminal, but with no confirmed contracts these were not built..The contract was worth in the region of £75m..Eastport's Eddie Freeman stated that the removal of the 2 £7,000,000 cranes was a welcome development as it will allow Eastport to concentrate on offshore windfarms, although there is no concrete prospect of a windfarm business support facility.. There is a Londis shop at every Butlins, Pontins and Haven Holidays camp..The town lies within the Richmond (Yorks) parliamentary constituency, which has been represented by William Hague..If you don't think that's bad, guess what, then you're tacky, too..

Arrow Children of Bodom

Quote:
The Lake Bodom murders were a multiple homicide that took place in Finland in 1960.. Lake Bodom is a lake by the city of Espoo, about 22 kilometres west of the country's capital, Helsinki.. In the early hours of June 5, 1960, 4 teenagers were camping on the shores of Lake Bodom.. Between 4AM and 6AM, an unknown person or people murdered 3 of them with a knife and blunt instrument wounding the 4th.. The sole survivor, Nils Wilhelm Gustafsson, led a normal life until 2004, when he became a suspect and was subsequently charged. In October 2005, a district court found Gustafsson not guilty of all charges against him..The murders have proven to be a popular subject in the Finnish media and commonly return to the headlines whenever new information or theories surface, but the case is still unsolved...

Maili Irmeli Björklund, 15.. Stabbed and bludgeoned...
Anja Tuulikki Mäki, 15.. Stabbed and bludgeoned..
Seppo Antero Boisman, 18.. Stabbed and bludgeoned..
Nils Wilhelm Gustafsson, 18.. Survived, having sustained concussion, fractures to the jaw and facial bones and bruises to the face...

There have been numerous suspects during the investigation of Lake Bodom murders, but these suspects are the most notable..

LUoma was a runaway from a nearby work department. Police caught him soon after the murders and questioned him.. They found out that he had a valid alibi.. He reportedly was in Otaniemi at the time of the murders..Pentti Soininen, a maintenance man, was convicted of number of property and violent crimes in the late 1960s..The police interrogated him, however his confession was not given much weight. Soininen was a psychopath who could be incredibly cryptic, especially while under the influence of alcohol and drugs..One of the prime suspects of the murders was Karl Valdemar Gyllström, a kiosk keeper from Oittaa. He was known to have hated campers and behaved aggressively...

Most suspicion has focused on the alleged KGB spy, Hans Assmann (December 9, 1923 – June 19, 1998 in Danderyd hospital in Sweden).. On 6 June 1960 he came to the Helsinki Surgical Hospital.. Assmann's behaviour in the hospital was particularly odd..The patient appeared dishevelled, with black fingernails and his clothes covered in red stains..The police had only a brief meeting with Turkham..According to Paloaro, Assmann told that he had served in SS troops and also as a guard in Auschwitz during World War II..When the relationship was found out, he was sent to the Eastern Front.. He was captured by Soviets and sent to prison camp.. There, he chose to become a spy.. He was disappointed with Nazism after he fell in love with a Jewish girl..

In late March 2004, almost 44 years after the event, Nils Gustafsson was arrested by the police on suspicion of having murdered his 3 friends.. In early 2005, the Finnish National Bureau of Investigation declared the case was solved based on some new analysis on the blood stains.. According to the official statement, Gustafsson erupted in jealous anger over his feelings for Björklund, his new girlfriend..On his acquittal, the State of Finland paid him €44,900 for mental suffering caused by the long remand time..Jorma Palo and Matti Paloaro wrote 3 books about the murders-Voters in a referendum in Cambodia approved making Prince Norodom Sihanouk as a non-royal Chief of State. The "official" result of the non-secret vote was 99.98% in favor of Sihanouk-Dwight D. Eisenhower became the first incumbent President of the United States to deliver the commencement speech at the University of Notre Dame.. Jimmy Carter (1977), Ronald Reagan (1981), George H.W. Bush (1992), George W. Bush (2001) and Barack Obama (2009) were later speakers - "George Gobel Show" last airs on CBS-TV - Joyce Ziske wins LPGA Wolverine Golf Open..

It remains tied with the 1950 Australian National Airways Douglas DC-4 crash as the deadliest civil aviation accident and second-deadliest aviation accident in Australian history..

The Kodak 35 was launched by the Eastman Kodak Company in 1938 as their first 35mm camera manufactured in the USA.. It was developed in Rochester, New York when it became apparent that the company could no longer rely on import from their Kodak AG factory in Germany during the troubled times prior to the Second World War.. The Eastman Kodak Company had greatly depended on Dr. August Nagel's capabilities as a camera designer and manufacturer by acquiring his factory and making him director of Kodak AG in Stuttgart.. The German factory was the single source of 35mm Kodak cameras, producing the quite successful Kojak Retina cameras to go with the new Kodak 135 daylight-loading film cassette starting in 1934...

The Beast of War 88 - Execution by Tank ...

The first Kodak 35 has no rangefinder.. It resembles slightly cameras like the German Wirgin Edinex and Adox Adrette.. It takes thirty-six 24×36 mm frames on 135 film..Prominently placed at the top are the large wind-on and rewind knobs, the right-hand one is the film advance knob, both to be operated in the clockwise direction.. Next to it is a manually reset automatic frame counter dial and the chromed wind-on release button, the latter not to be mistaken for the shutter release.. Most, if not all shutters alternatives have a No. 5 Cable Release socket with a tiny removable coin-slotted screw plug, while the later ones also have a Kodak type flash synchroniser contact post. A metal band inscribed "Made in U.S.A." was attached to the top of the shutter housing cover plate..The Kodak 35 came with a hard brown leather ever-ready case...The Kodak 35 serial number is engraved on the front ring on the lens..Many of us get trophies for our accomplishments.. For killers, taking souvenirs extends the fantasy into that realm.. My accomplishment may be solving a case.. I get a plaque or some kudos; their accomplishment is perpetrating a crime.. I get to put the plaque up on the wall of my den..It’s like in the Wild West, where they used to cut notches in a gun... The whole thing seems like it’s relived.. It’s fantasy, but it never ends.. It doesn’t even end when you incarcerate the killers..A Crow can speak a word.. But a crow is not a man and neither is a Russian..You're a good soldier Anton.. You can be counted on when they ask you to shoot your mother..When the Motherland asked for our lives, we GAVE..he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son!.Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother!.

Arrow Heed C-5

Quote:
The Lockheed C-5 Galaxy is a large military transport aircraft originally designed and built by Lockheed, and now maintained and upgraded by its successor, Lockheed Martin. It provides the United States Air Force (USAF) with a heavy intercontinental-range strategic airlift capability, one that can carry outsize and oversize cargos, including all air-certifiable cargo.. The Galaxy has many similarities to its smaller Lockheed C-141 Starlifter predecessor, and the later Boeing C-17 Globemaster III. The C-5 is among the largest military aircraft in the world..The C-5 Galaxy has been operated by USAF since 1969.. In that time, it has been used to support US military operations in all major conflicts including Vietnam, Iraq, Yugoslavia and Afghanistan; as well as in support of allies, such as Israel during the Yom Kippur War and NATO operations in the Gulf War.. C-5 has also been used to distribute humanitarian aid and disaster relief, and support the US Space Shuttle program run by NASA..

In 74, Iran, then holding good relations with the United States, offered $160 million to restart C-5 production to enable Iran to purchase aircraft for their own air force; in a similar climate as to their acquisition of F-14 Tomcat fighters.. However no C-5 aircraft were ever ordered by Iran, as the prospect was firmly halted by the Iranian Revolution in 79..The C-5 is a large high-wing cargo aircraft. It has a distinctive high T-tail, 25-degree wing sweep, and 4 TF39 turbofan engines mounted on pylons beneath the wings.. The C-5 is similar in layout to its smaller predecessor, the C-141 Starlifter..Galaxies were often used to carry partly disassembled aircraft, leaving no exterior signs as to their cargo. It remains the largest aircraft to ever operate in the Antarctic; Williams Field near McMurdo Station is capable of handling C-5 aircraft, the first of which landed there in 89..Lockheed also planned a civilian version of the C-5 Galaxy, the L-500, the company designation also used for the C-5 itself.. Both passenger and cargo versions of the L-500 were designed.. The all-passenger version would have been able to carry up to 1,000 travelers, while the all-cargo version was predicted to be able to carry typical C-5 volume for as little as 2 cents per ton-mile (in 67 dollars).. Although some interest was expressed by carriers, no orders were placed for either L-500 version, due to operational costs caused by low fuel efficiency, a significant concern for a profit-making carrier...

Captain Yossarian , a U.S. Army Air Force B-25 bombardier, is stationed on the Mediterranean island of Pianosa during World War II.. Along with his squadron members, Yossarian is committed to flying dangerous missions, and after watching friends die, he seeks a means of escape..Catch-22 is renowned for its role in saving the B-25 Mitchell aircraft from possible extinction..Release dates June 21-Running time 122 minutes..Budget $18 million..Box office $24,911,670...

Arrow 5th Avenue

Apart from 5th Avenue night club and an architects practice, the building is otherwise vacant

Quote:
Fifth Avenue is a major thoroughfare going through of the borough of Manhattan in New York City, United States.. It stretches from West 142nd Street in Harlem to Washington Square North at Washington Square Park in Greenwich Village.. It is considered among the most expensive and best shopping streets in the world..The first commercial building on Fifth Avenue was erected by Benjamin Altman who bought the corner lot on the northeast corner of 34th Street in 1896, and demolished the "Marble Palace" of his arch-rival, A. T. Stewart.. In 1906 his department store, B. Altman and Company, occupied the whole of its block front.. The result was the creation of a high-end shopping district that attracted fashionable women and the upscale stores that wished to serve them.. Lord & Taylor's flagship store is still located on Fifth Avenue near the Empire State Building and the New York Public Library..

Fifth Avenue is the traditional route for many celebratory parades in New York City; thus, it is closed to traffic on numerous Sundays in warm weather.. The longest running parade is the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade. Parades held are distinct from the ticker-tape parades held on the "Canyon of Heroes" on lower Broadway, and the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade held on Broadway from the Upper West Side downtown to Herald Square.. Fifth Avenue parades usually proceed from south to north, with the exception of the LGBT Pride March, which goes north to south to end in Greenwich Village.. The Latino literary classic by New Yorker Giannina Braschi, entitled "Empire of Dreams," takes place on the Puerto Rican Day Parade on Fifth Avenue..Bicycling on Fifth Avenue ranges from segregated with a bike lane south of 23rd Street, to scenic along Central Park, to dangerous through Midtown with very heavy traffic during rush hours.. There is no dedicated bike lane along Fifth Avenue...

By the early 20th century, this portion of Fifth Avenue had been nicknamed "Millionaire's Row", with mansions such as the Mrs. William B. Astor House, William A. Clark House, Felix M. Warburg House, two Morton F. Plant Houses, James B. Duke House and numerous others.. Entries to Central Park along this stretch include Inventor's Gate at 72nd Street, which gave access to the park's carriage drives, and Engineers' Gate at 90th Street, used by equestrians..Millionaires' Miles are characterized by the presence of great houses in varying architectural styles.. Depending on the location, these may be stately homes, mansions, townhouses, esoteric modern creations or other imposing designs..This area contains many notable apartment buildings, including 810 Fifth Avenue and the Park Cinq, many of them built in the 1920s by architects such as Rosario Candela and J. E. R. Carpenter. A very few post-World War II structures break the unified limestone frontage, notably the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum..Many airlines established ticketing offices along Fifth Avenue.. In the years leading up to 1992, the number of ticketing offices along Fifth Avenue decreased.. Pan American World Airways went out of business, while Air France, Finnair, and KLM moved their ticket offices to other areas in Midtown Manhattan..Cartier is one of several premier retail establishments located on Fifth Avenue..Fifth Avenue is home to New York's fifth most photographed building, the Apple Store..

Skid row or skid road is a shabby urban area with cheap taverns, dive bars, and dilapidated hotels frequented by marginalized individuals who are struggling with finding housing and social support..The name "Skid Road" was in use in Seattle by 1865 when the city's historic Pioneer Square neighborhood began to expand from its commercial core..The 73rd meridian west forms a great circle with the 107th Meridian East..Starting in Spain at the Prime Meridian and heading EastWards, the parallel 40° north passes through Castile-La Mancha..It is mostly in this region where the story of the famous Spanish novel Don Quixote by Miguel de Cervantes is situated, due to which La Mancha is internationally well-known.. Although La Mancha is a windswept, battered plateau, it remains a symbol of Spanish culture with its vineyards, sunflowers, mushrooms, olive plantations, windmills, Manchego cheese, and Don Quixote.. Although Quixano is mostly a rational man, his reading in excess of books of chivalry has produced the distortion of his perception and the wavering of his mental faculties..The area of Extremadura is 41,633 km², making it the 5th largest of the Spanish autonomous communities..The novel describes New York's social elite in the 1870s and provides historical context to Fifth Avenue and New York's aristocratic families-Rockefeller Center − 45 Rockefeller Plaza – National Historic Landmark..Saks Fifth Avenue is the successor of a business founded by Andrew Saks in 1867 -Two buildings connected with the Gorham Manufacturing Company have historical status..The Cathedral of St. Patrick is a decorated Neo-Gothic-style Roman Catholic cathedral church in the United States and a prominent landmark of New York City.. It is the seat of the archbishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York, and a parish church, located on the east side of Fifth Avenue between 50th and 51st Streets in midtown Manhattan, New York City, New York, directly across the street from Rockefeller Center and specifically facing the Atlas statue.. It weighs 7 tonnes (7,000 kg), and is the largest sculpture at Rockefeller Center..The piece has since been associated with Ayn Rand's novel Atlas Shrugged..

The 5th Avenue is a candy bar produced and marketed by The Hershey Company..This candy appeared in the sci-fi movie Stargate..Again, he giveth great Wisdom and Knowledge in Mechanical Arts; and can change men into other shapes...

Five Metals ring (a.k.a "Kabbalah ring") is suggested by the Talmud as a talisman for luck, and is considered a Kabbalistic appurtenance.. Five metals mined from the earth (gold, silver, copper, tin and lead) are to be joined but not alloyed into a ring.. It can only be manufactured once a month, "when the moon is in Jupiter", over a 5-hour period from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. and only upon the conclusion of the Sabbath (Saturday night).. The Five Metals ring has commonly taken the form of a sterling silver ring with tablets of gold, tin, lead and copper set into the bezel.. The Talmud states, "Bear [the ring] upon thee, and thou shalt see miracles"..

Some traditional Yemenite Jews still wear distinctive long and thin twisted locks, often reaching to the upper arm.. The actual area where the hair grows and where the ringlet begins is neat and tidy..The Skver Hasidim twist their sidelocks into a tight coil, and leave them protruding in front of the ear..The dynasty of Skver is a branch of the Chernobyl dynasty.. Its founder, Rebbe Yitzchok, also known as Reb Itzikl, was one of the 8 sons of Rabbi Mordechai, the Maggid of Chernobyl..

The city was evacuated in 1986 owing to the Chernobyl disaster at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant, located 14.5 kilometres (9.0 mi) north-northwest, the most disastrous single nuclear event in history (followed by the Fukushima Daiichi plant meltdown in 2011).. The power plant was within Chernobyl Raion (District), but the city was not the residence of the power plant workers.. When the power plant was under construction, Pripyat, a city larger and closer to the power plant, had been built as home for the power plant workers...

Lightbulb A5

Quote:
Starting at Marble Arch in London, the A5 runs northwest up the Edgware Road through Kilburn and Cricklewood. The A5 number disappears near Edgware, but the Roman Road continues as the A5183 through Elstree, Radlett, St Albans and Redbourn, to junction 9 of the M1, where it becomes the A5 again.. From there, it passes through Dunstable, where it crosses and briefly multiplexes with the A505. North of Dunstable, the A5 passes through the village of Hockliffe before becoming a dual carriageway and bypassing Little Brickhill..On entering the Milton Keynes urban area, the road becomes a fully grade-separated dual carriageway and passes through Milton Keynes. This stretch was opened in 1980 locally known as A5D - the old A5 was 'renamed' V4, and enabled the older route to be incorporated into the Milton Keynes grid road system.. The road accompanies the Grand Union Canal and the M1 motorway through the Watford Gap..The next phase to the Wales-England border takes it through Kilsby before going under the M6 motorway and passing close to Lutterworth.. Along this stretch, the road frequently alternates between being a single and a dual carriageway.. After meeting the M69 motorway at a roundabout, with the motorway passing above, the A5 runs through Hinckley...

Hinkley Point A nuclear power station is a decommissioned Magnox Nuclear power station located on a 19.4-hectare (48-acre) site in Somerset on the Bristol Channel coast, 5 miles (8 km) west of the River Parrett estuary..Hinkley Point B is a nuclear power station near Bridgwater, Somerset, on the Bristol Channel coast of south west England..Hinckley is a market town in southwest Leicestershire, England..Nigel Keith Anthony Standish Vaz, known as Keith Vaz (born 56), is a British Labour Party politician and has been MP for Leicester East since 1987..Keith Vaz, the Minister caught up in the Hinduja passports affair, owns at least 5 properties worth more than £1 million, it was revealed yesterday..Hinckley is the second largest town in the administrative county of Leicestershire, after Loughborough..Hinckley is situated near the larger town of Nuneaton in Warwickshire..

After Hinck-Ley, the road runs through the northern fringes of Nun-eaton and then Tam-worth.. At Tamworth, the road follows a more recent dual carriageway bypass, permitting the original alignment to become a local road in the town..John Warnock Hinckley Jr. (born 55) attempted to assassinate U.S. President Ronald Reagan in Washington D.C., on March 30, 1981, as the culmination of an effort to impress actress Jodie Foster, reported to have been driven by an erotomanic fixation on her..After Shrewsbury the A5 continues as single-carriageway except for the Nesscliffe bypass.. It then multiplexes with the major south-north wales road A483 and forms part of the Oswestry bypass, running to the east of that town..From Bangor the road crosses the Menai Suspension Bridge between mainland Wales and Anglesey, through Llanfair PG then runs roughly parallel to the A55 expressway until the two roads merge in the centre of Holyhead..In 97, a section of bends on Telford's road between Tŷ Nant and Dinmael was by-passed by a modern cutting..Parts of the A5 have been replaced by sections of the M1 north of London, the M54 through Telford, the M6, and the MI6 Troll..

Marble Arch is a 19th-century white marble faced triumphal arch and London landmark. The structure was designed by John Nash in 1827 to be the state entrance to the cour d'honneur of Buckingham Palace; it stood near the site of what is today the three bayed, central projection of the palace containing the well known balcony.. In 1851 it was relocated and following the widening of Park Lane in the early 1960s is now sited, isolated and incongruously, on a large traffic island at the junction of Oxford Street, Park Lane, and Edgware Road..Historically, only members of the Royal Family and the King's Troop, Royal Horse Artillery are permitted to pass through the arch; this happens only in ceremonial processions..The arch gives its name to the vicinity of its site, particularly, the southern portion of Edgware Road and also to the nearby underground station...

A5 from Douglas to Port Erin Also called New Castletown Road; connects Douglas in the east of the island with Port Erin in the south via Richmond Hill.. Between Douglas and Port Erin, the road passes through Santon, Ballasalla and Castletown before travelling along Gansey Bay and past the northern side of Port St Mary.. Between Santon and Ballasalla, the road passes over the Fairy Bridge..Chapel Bay, a sandy beach in the upper part of the village is used for recreation and bathing in the summer months..A superstition is to greet the fairies (an English term for the Mooinjer Veggey; never called fairies or ferrish by the Manx and not of similar disposition to the English fairies) when crossing the fairy bridge; it is considered unlucky not to greet them..It has been suggested that the location was on the boundaries of the land of the nearby Rushen Abbey and the greeting is a folk memory of crossing oneself at the sight of the crucifix marking the boundary of the monastery's land..The now commonly known '"Real" Fairy Bridge', shown as the 'Fairy Bridge' on old Ordnance Survey maps, is located in the parish of Braddan across the Middle River...

The Torah contains 5 books—Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy—which are collectively called the Five Books of Moses, the Pentateuch (Greek for "5 containers," referring to the scroll cases in which the books were kept), or Humash (חומש, Hebrew for "fifth")...

Lightbulb Gene 5

Geneticists use diagrams called ideograms as a standard representation for chromosomes.. Ideograms show a chromosome's relative size and its banding pattern.. A banding pattern is the characteristic pattern of dark and light bands that appears when a chromosome is stained with a chemical solution and then viewed under a microscope.. These bands are used to describe the location of genes on each chromosome...
Quote:
Humans normally have 46 chromosomes in each cell, divided into 23 pairs.. Two copies of chromosome 5, one copy inherited from each parent, form one of the pairs.. Chromosome 5 spans about 181 million DNA building blocks (base pairs) and represents almost 6 percent of the total DNA in cells.. Chromosome 5 likely contains about 900 genes that provide instructions for making proteins.. These proteins perform a variety of different roles in the body..Cri-du-chat (cat's cry) syndrome is caused by a deletion of the end of the short (p) arm of chromosome 5.. This chromosomal change is written as 5p- (5p minus)...

Leigh syndrome is a severe neurological disorder that typically arises in the first year of life.. This condition is characterized by progressive loss of mental and movement abilities (psychomotor regression) and typically results in death within a couple of years, usually due to respiratory failure. A small number of individuals develop symptoms in adulthood or have symptoms that worsen more slowly..Leigh syndrome affects at least 1 in 40,000 newborns. The condition is more common in certain populations. For example, the condition occurs in approximately 1 in 2,000 newborns in the Saguenay Lac-Saint-Jean region of Quebec, Canada...

Netherton syndrome is a disorder that affects the skin, hair, and immune system. Newborns with Netherton syndrome have skin that is red and scaly (ichthyosiform erythroderma), and the skin may leak fluid. Some affected infants are born with a tight, clear sheath covering their skin called a collodion membrane. This membrane is usually shed during the first few weeks of life...Netherton syndrome is estimated to affect 1 in 200,000 newborns...

Wagner syndrome is a hereditary disorder that causes progressive vision loss. The eye problems that lead to vision loss typically begin in childhood, although the vision impairment might not be immediately apparent..Wagner syndrome is a rare disorder, although its exact prevalence is unknown. Approximately 300 affected individuals have been described worldwide; about half of these individuals are from the Netherlands...

Weaver syndrome is a disorder characterized by skeletal abnormalities and developmental delay.. It is considered an overgrowth syndrome because the bones of affected individuals grow and develop more quickly than usual (advanced bone age) both before and after birth.. Adult height is typically normal to tall..In addition to advanced bone age, people with Weaver syndrome may have other skeletal abnormalities..The prevalence of Weaver syndrome is unknown.. About 30 cases have been described in the medical literature..

The historic origins of wedding anniversaries date back to the Holy Roman Empire, when husbands crowned their wives with a silver wreath on their 25th anniversary, or vicennalia, and a gold wreath on the 50th.. Later, principally in the twentieth century, commercialism led to the addition of more anniversaries being represented by a named gift..In the Commonwealth realms, one can receive a message from the monarch for 60th, 65th, and 70th wedding anniversaries, and any wedding anniversary after that..In Australia, where one can receive a letter of congratulations from the Governor-General on the 50th and all subsequent wedding anniversaries..

In Canada, one can also receive a message from the Governor-General for the 50th anniversary, and every 5th anniversary after that..In the United States, a couple can receive a greeting from the President for any wedding anniversary on or after the 50th..Roman Catholics may apply for a Papal blessing through their local diocese for wedding anniversaries of a special nature..These gifts vary in different countries, but some years have well-established connections now common to most nations: 5th Wooden, 10th Tin, 15th Crystal, 20th China, 25th Silver, 30th Pearl, 40th Ruby, 50th Gold, 60th Diamond..Before that, only the 1st, 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th, 25th, 50th, and 75th anniversaries had an associated gift...
