Default "in god we trust"

So I've noticed on the American... errr... US $1 bill, this phrase is in all capital letters. Given what I've learned about ALL CAPS NAMES and trusts, etc. etc. This is something deliberately done?

GOD is a corporation/trust?

"IN GOD WE TRUST"

All caps, no period. So, without the period, there's more?

Maybe someone could expound on this?

Is that a question or a statement?

From Wiki:
Outside of constitutional objections, President Theodore Roosevelt took issue with placing the motto on coinage as he considered it sacrilegious to put the name of God on money.[17]

A long-standing, irreverant joke slogan was eventually cited as the title of a book, In God We Trust, All Others Pay Cash.

Oh, I'm sorry. It's just an innocent, lovely phrase at the end of the Star Spangled Banner. It means nothing. The dollar will bounce back. Carry on.

i don't trust god, not the one the americans put their faith in anyway. Now if they had "in Thor we trust" i might be interested.
