There's another 4,500 workers at Rolls Royce who will shortly become non-workers, but not necessarily unemployed as the system will find ways of keeping them off the (surprisingly) short unemployment roll.

How high is the real figure? 4 million, 5 million or 8 million?

While I agree with you about the Tories faking unemployment figures, if you're thinking of Marie Antoinette and the cake that's a historical myth, she never said it. An earlier french Queen might have, but even that's not certain. The so-called French Revolution was in fact the Illuminati Revolution. Its leaders were not real men of the people but crap lawyers being manipulated by shadowy powerful forces ( bit like some recent Prime Ministers).

Well thanks. It's one of those 0 contract hours stock taking and not the best of jobs, but it'll do for now til I start a better job in a new p/t job in a store in September.

DWP employees need to be extra careful these days, as the politicians make laws that place more and more people on sanctions, pushing them into extreme poverty and in most cases homelessness. Those inside the system who think they are safe do not have number 10's steal bar fences and police escorts as they happily sign people off into destitution they hold no fear or remorse for those effected by said decisions and in turn expect no retaliation from those they care next to nothing for and dictate too from afar. The system is so hell bent on destroying lives it does not know when it has won and continues to crush the bones of those still under its monsterous wheels.
