Default Actor leslie Grantham dies

Best known for playing Dirty Den in EastEnders. He was also a convicted murderer, serving 10 years for the murder of a taxi driver. He created a great character in Den Watts.

Dirty Den!
I didn't know he was a murderer.
He did well, don't you think?

I didn't know he was a convicted murdered until I heard the news of his death; jeez, 10 years for killing a taxi driver? how the hell did he manage to get a job in acting?. Did he have a helping hand, because if that was anyone else the last place they would would be on TV in a soap opera.

I was just watching one of his programmes from the 90's this week.

Totally typecast from his dirty den on eastenders role.

I was just reading his Wiki page and he served time with a Labour MP who 'encouraged' his acting!

Quentin Willson for dodgy car logbooks?. Well I suppose every second hand, Arthur Daley wannabe car salesman has done that one, and that's a big crime is it?. I used to like Wilson in his Top Gear days, thought he had a certain wit and charm about him and he had me stitches with the smirky remarks about the cars he was reviewing, though he has a yuppie vibe about him.

And BTW, don't base your facts from wikipedia remember. One minute I hearv alternative researchers talk about getting their research from wikipedia, ie "this is what I read from wikipedia", as if these people believe that information about such a person or event is true, and then the next thing they say is stay away from wikipedia as it likely won't be true. Make up your minds people.

I saw a pic of him on the web a few days ago. I thought "God he looks old!" then he was dead two days later. Anyone seen that film DEATHNOTE?
