Default A fun book recommendation...

Yeah, I know this isn't the book subforum, but the subject matter is on par.

I'm a fan of JL Bourne's first two Day by Day zombie apocalypse thrillers, and they work so well because they're told from the point of view of someone who wrote down his experiences in a journal. After waiting a long time for the 3rd installment to come out it finally went to press in Dec. Well, the reviews are not good. Seems the author deviated from the journal setting. Looking for a replacement I stumbled across a new book titled Apocalypse Z. It's also in the journal style and is about the experiences of a lawyer in Spain and his cat Lucullus when you know what happens. It's a great read, and I highly recommend it.

"Reason obeys itself; and ignorance submits to whatever is dictated to it ... It is not a field of a few acres of ground, but a cause, that we are defending, and whether we defeat the enemy in one battle, or by degrees, the consequences will be the same." -- Thomas Paine
