Default Sheridan Smith

Nearly everytime my girlfriend switches on the brainwashing box, there's always a drama series with that Scouse Sheridan Smith. She's one of those actresses that's just sprung up out of nowhere, ever since her Cilla drama.

There was a drama with her playing a daughter of a mother who has dementia, in my view another propaganda piece.

She's not scouse but from Lincolnshire, and she's a classically trained actress as well.

2 pints was set in Runcorn, which isn't part of Liverpool. Technically it's Cheshire, but it has it's own council.

Good luck to her, a British acctress doing well for herself.

I had a feeling she wasn't really Scouse as her accent seems rather exaggerated at times (as alot of people do who play scouse people). In the drama I saw she called her mum "mam". I know plenty of scouse people and I've heard them using that word for mum; I find it more of a Lancashire phrase than Liverpool. Never heard of her before she played Cilla, so shows i don't watch much TV.

The first time I saw her on the box was when she played, Anthony's girlfriend, Emma in The Royle Family. Another talented and pretty young girl that has shackled herself to fame and rehab.
