Lightbulb Fann

Fann Woon Fong (simplified Chinese: 范文芳; traditional Chinese: 范雯芳; pinyin: Fàn Wénfāng; born 27 January 1971), better known by her stage name Fann Wong, is a Singaporean actress, singer and model...perhaps best known for her Deadly Roundhouse Kicks and popiah-rolling skills. She is also a world renowned martial artist second only to Bruce Lee...Her punches are so fast they move at more then ten times the speed of light?

Born in Singapore to Hakka middle-class tailor parents, Fann shared her childhood with three siblings—an older sister, as well as a younger brother and sister. She was educated at Temasek Secondary School, where she took her GCE 'O' Level examinations in 1987...At the age of 16, she won a beauty contest organised by Her World, a Singapore fashion magazine. She started a successful modelling career in Singapore, and spent the next two years modelling part-time while taking her GCE 'A' Level examinations at a private school...Fann moved to Taiwan in 1993. One of her earliest successes was in an Oil of Ulan (now Oil of Olay) commercial aired in Taiwan and Singapore(Olay is an American skin care line. It is one of the top skin care retail brands in the world, except for Japan, and is one of Procter & Gamble's multi-billion dollar brands)...In 1996, her role in The Unbroken Cycle won her first regional nomination at the Asian Television Awards...

She played a two-timing television reporter in the omnibus Hong Kong film When I Fall in Love and a lovelorn insurance agent in the Singaporean romantic drama Looking For Stars, as well as played the title character in the Taiwanese period drama Madam White Snake...Fann has been romantically involved with Malaysian actor Christopher Lee since late 2002, although the pair only admitted their relationship in mid-2005. She has had only one prior romance—an 11-year relationship with businessman Anthony Chan...they walked together hand-in-hand down the blue carpet of the 2006 Star Awards ceremony.

Arrow Mindstream

Mindstream in Buddhist philosophy is the moment-to-moment "continuum" of awareness.Stream of consciousness refers to the flow of thoughts in the conscious mind. The full range of thoughts that one can be aware of can form the content of this stream, not just verbal thoughts.

Buddhist scholar Alexander Berzin uses the term "mental continuum" in translation of the Tibetan sems-rgyud and Sanskrit santāna, which he defines as "the stream of continuity of mental activity (mind, awareness) of an individual being, which has no beginning, which continues even into Buddhahood, and, according to Mahayana, has no end. According to the Hinayana tenets, it comes to an end when an arhat or Buddha dies at the end of the lifetime in which the person attains liberation or enlightenment. Also called a 'mind-stream.'" The doctrinal understanding of the mindstream concept in Buddhist traditions evolved over centuries and varies to some extent by tradition.

This compound combines xin 心 "heart; mind; thought; conscience; core" and xiangxu "succeed each other", with xiang 相 ”each other; one another; mutual; reciprocal" and xu 續 or 续 "continue; carry on; succeed". Thus it means "thoughts succeeding each other".There are two entwined mindstreams according to the two truths, the absolute and relative, that are ultimately non-dual according to Atiyoga. One is the divine mindstream of "consciousness" which is engaged in the phowa practice, for example; the other the mindstream of thought and ideation (Tibetan: sem; Sanskrit: manas).

The Pschent (Greek ψχεντ) was the name of the Double Crown of Ancient Egypt. The Ancient Egyptians generally referred to it as sekhemti, the Two Powerful Ones... It combined the Red Deshret Crown of Lower Egypt and the White Hedjet Crown of Upper Egypt...

The Pschent represented the pharaoh's power over all of unified Egypt. It bore two animal emblems... An Egyptian cobra, known as the uraeus, ready to strike, which symbolized the Lower Egyptian goddess Wadjet, and an Egyptian vulture representing the Upper Egyptian tutelary goddess Nekhbet...These were fastened to the front of the Pschent and referred to as the Two Ladies. Later, the vulture head sometimes was replaced by a second cobra...

Below is a relief of a pharaoh being symbolically crowned with the crowns of Upper and Lower Egypt...

"This is my body", and gave them the cup, saying, "This is my blood"

At the channel-centres there are white and red drops, upon which physical and mental health are based. The white is predominant at the top of the head and the red at the solar plexus... These drops have their origin in a white and red drop at the heart centre, and this drop is the size of a small pea and has a white top and red bottom. It is called the indestructible drop, since it lasts until death. The very subtle life-bearing wind dwells inside it and, at death, all winds ultimately dissolve into it, whereupon the clear light vision of death dawns...

The physiology of death revolves around changes in the winds, channels and drops. Psychologically, due to the fact that consciousnesses of varying grossness and subtlety depend on the winds, like a rider on a horse, their dissolving or loss of ability to serve as bases of consciousness induces radical changes in conscious experience.

The meridian 40° west of Greenwich is a line of longitude that extends from the North Pole across the Arctic Ocean, Greenland, the Atlantic Ocean, South America, the Southern Ocean, and Antarctica to the South Pole.

Lightbulb MoonChild

Making the Moonchild...

The purpose of the ritual is to draw a Scarlet Woman into the ritual who would then become impregnated, through a series of sexual rituals, with a Magickal Child, Horus...

A Moonchild is created by impregnating the mother-to-be under certain Astrologikal tides related to the Moon. For the entire nine months, she is wrapped in a kind of occult cocoon in order to cultivate the extreme passivity needed so that she would be receptive to lunar visions. The images and energies of these visions imprinted the unborn child with the Vibrations of the Moon...

Moonchild is a novel written by the British occultist Aleister Crowley in 1917. Its plot involves a magical war between a group of white magicians, led by the protagonist Simon Iff, and a group of black magicians over an unborn child...

A year or so before the beginning of World War I, a young woman named Lisa la Giuffria is seduced by a white magician, Cyril Grey, and persuaded into helping him in a magical battle with a black magician and his black lodge. Grey is attempting to raise the level of his force by impregnating the girl with the soul of an ethereal being — the moonchild...

To achieve this, she will have to be kept in a secluded environment, and many preparatory magikal rituals will be carried out...

The moonchild rituals are carried out in Southern Italy, but the occult organizations are based in Paris and England...

Lightbulb God Save the Queen

Countess Marie Louise Larisch von Moennich (AKA Countess Marie Louise Larisch-Wallersee and Countess Marie Larisch) (24 February 1858 - 4 July 1940) was the niece and confidante of Empress Elisabeth of Austria. She was a go-between for her married cousin Crown Prince Rudolf and his mistress Baroness Mary Vetsera, a friend of hers.

A scandal known as the Mayerling Incident broke in 1889 upon the discovery of the bodies of the two lovers at Rudolf's hunting lodge at Mayerling, Austria. With the revelation of her role in this the Countess was shunned in particular by the Empress and the rest of the Imperial Family. As a consequence she was also snubbed by society. Later in life she was nominally the author of a series of ghostwritten books about the Imperial household...In World War I she worked at the front as a nurse. In 1921 she portrayed herself in a silent film about her aunt, the Empress Elisabeth (nobody cared that she was 62, while Carla Nelsen, portraying the empress, was 23!) In 1924 in New York an article was published, that she will marry anybody who will pay her and her son the transfer to America...Marie died very poor in 1940 in a nursing home at Augsburg and was buried in Munich...Marie met and conversed with the poet T. S. Eliot, and part of their conversation found its way into his epochal poem The Waste Land

A real pheasant as a hat! Royalty and Scottish traditions have been a reccurring subject of parody and inspiration for Westwood, beginning in her Punk clothes. The mix of different tartans were made to order by Locharron of Scotland...Dame Vivienne Westwood, DBE, RDI (born 8 April 1941) is a British fashion designer and businesswoman, largely responsible for bringing modern punk and new wave fashions into the mainstream...Vivienne was born Vivienne Isabel Swire in the village of Tintwistle, Derbyshire on 8 April 1941, the daughter of Gordon Swire and Dora Swire (née Ball), who had married two years previously, two weeks after the outbreak of World War II. At the time of Vivienne's birth, her father was employed as a storekeeper in an aircraft factory; he had previously worked as a greengrocer...When she met Malcolm McLaren, it signified the end of Westwood's marriage to Derek. Westwood and McLaren moved to a council flat in Clapham. Westwood continued to teach until 1971 when Malcolm decided to open a boutique at 430 King's Road called "Let It Rock" (later known variously as "Sex", "Too Fast To Live Too Young To Die", and "Seditionaries") and now Worlds Ends, where Westwood sells her Vivienne Westwood label clothing...Princess Eugenie wore three different Westwood designs for the pre-wedding dinner, the wedding ceremony and the after-wedding party at the 2011 royal wedding.Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, wore Westwood to Royal Ascot in 2009...n 1992, Westwood was awarded an OBE, which she collected from Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace. At the ceremony, Westwood was knicker-less....

However she is a keen gardener...

Natasha Jane Richardson 11 May 1963 ...

http://youtu.be/C2-hcUX05uc

On August 5, 1962, LAPD police sergeant Jack Clemmons received a call at 4:25 am from Dr. Ralph Greenson, Monroe's psychiatrist, proclaiming that Monroe was found dead at her home in Brentwood, Los Angeles, California. She was 36 years old. At the subsequent autopsy, eight milligram per cent of Chloral hydrate and 4.5 milligram percent of Nembutal were found in her system, and Dr. Thomas Noguchi of the Los Angeles County Coroners office recorded cause of death as "acute barbiturate poisoning," resulting from a "probable suicide." Many theories, including murder, circulated about the circumstances of her death and the timeline after the body was found. Some conspiracy theories involved John and Robert Kennedy, while other theories suggested CIA or Mafia complicity. It was reported that the last person Monroe called was the President...

Died ...August 5, 1962 (aged 36)

Gothic is a 1986 film directed by Ken Russell. It starred Lord Byron, Percy Bysshe Shelley,Mary Shelley and Dr John William Polidori...The film is a tale based on the Shelleys' visit with Lord Byron in Villa Diodati by Lake Geneva, and the famous challenge to write a horror story, which ultimately led to Mary Shelley writing Frankenstein and John Polidori writing The Vampyre. The same event has also been portrayed in the films Bride of Frankenstein (1935) and Haunted Summer (1988), among others.

Interpretation of The Nightmare have varied widely. The canvas seems to portray simultaneously a dreaming woman and the content of her nightmare. The incubus and the horse's head refer to contemporary belief and folklore about nightmares, but have been ascribed more specific meanings by some theorists. Contemporary critics were taken aback by the overt sexuality of the painting, which has since been interpreted by some scholars as anticipating Freudian ideas about the subconscious...

Lightbulb Dream Theta Sigma

Delta Theta Sigma (ΔΘΣ) is a social professional agricultural fraternity. It was created in 1906 at The Ohio State University. There are currently eight active chapters of Delta Theta Sigma...We, the members of Delta Theta Sigma Fraternity, in order to promote agriculture, to secure a higher degree of scholarship, to foster the spirit of brotherhood in our vocation, and to ensure social and cultural unity, do promote our organization to the fulfillment of these ideals...On November 26, 1927, representatives from Delta Theta Sigma at The Ohio State University, Alpha Gamma Phi at Pennsylvania State University, and a former Farmhouse Chapter at the University of Wisconsin–Madison met in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in Room 211 of the William Penn Hotel...Zeta was very fortunate to be able to rent a house their first year and are presently located at 321 Vine Street...Theta Chapter was renting a house located at 101 North Nelson...

Theta (uppercase Θ, lowercase θ or ϑ; Ancient Greek θῆτα; ) is the eighth letter of the Greek alphabet, derived from the Phoenician letter Teth Phoenician teth.svg. In the system of Greek numerals it has a value of 9...The Egyptians also used the symbol of a point within a circle (The symbol of a point within a circle, the sun disc) to represent the sun, which might be a possible origin of its use as the Sun's astrological glyph. It is worthwhile to note that θῆτα (theta) has the same numerical value in isopsephy as Ηλιος (Helios)...In Ancient Greek, θ represented the aspirated voiceless dental plosive /t̪ʰ/, but in Modern Greek it represents the voiceless dental fricative /θ/...In its archaic form, θ was written as a cross within a circle (A symbol of a cross within a circle or Another symbol of a cross within a circle), and later, as a line or point within a circle (The symbol of a line within a circle or The symbol of a point within a circle).

Delta Sigma Theta (ΔΣΘ) is a not-for profit Greek-lettered sorority of college-educated women who perform public service and place emphasis on the African American community. Delta Sigma Theta Sorority was founded on January 13, 1913 by twenty-two collegiate women at Howard University...Intelligence is the Torch of Wisdom

In October 2011, a serial rapist in the Dallas area was reported to be targeting Delta Sigma Theta alumnae, attacking four alumnae in their mid-50s to mid-60s over an eleven-month period. The sorority issued a release advising its members not to identify their affiliation with the sorority via on their cars, key chains, clothing, or Facebook postings...The case was featured on the December 9, 2011 episode of America's Most Wanted...Patricia Roberts Harris served as Delta Sigma Theta's first Executive Director. She was also the first Black woman to be appointed ambassador to a European country (Luxembourg) and to be appointed to a presidential cabinet post as Secretary of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)...She was later appointed as Secretary of Health and Human Services. In January 2000, she was honored on the 23rd commemorative stamp in the United States Postal Service's Black Heritage Series.

Delta Towers I...In 1979, Delta Sigma Theta's Washington D.C. Alumnae Chapter and Delta's Housing Corporation planned and constructed Delta Towers as a multi-million dollar, ten-story building. Delta Towers opened for occupancy in 1980.

Delta Towers II...The Washington D.C. Alumnae Chapter's Delta Housing Corporation is planning to construct Delta Towers II. Delta Towers II will provide 150 additional safe and affordable apartments for low to moderate income senior citizens.

On December 28, 1947, the Delta Jabberwock was formally adopted and copyrighted by Delta Sigma Theta..."Jabberwocky" is a nonsense verse poem written by Lewis Carroll in his 1872 novel Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There, a sequel to Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. The book tells of Alice's adventures within the back-to-front world of a looking glass.

A Dreamcatcher...
Delta Academy's Symbol...

In classical Athens, it was used as an abbreviation for the Greek θάνατος (thanatos, “death”) and as it vaguely resembles a human skull, theta was used as a warning symbol of death, in the same way that skull and crossbones are used in modern times.

Petrus de Dacia in a document from 1291 relates the idea that theta was used to brand criminals as empty ciphers, and the branding rod was affixed to the crossbar spanning the circle. For this reason, use of the number theta was sometimes avoided where the connotation was felt to be unlucky - the mint marks of some Late Imperial Roman coins famously have the sum ΔΕ or ΕΔ (delta and epsilon, that is 4 and 5) substituted as a euphemism where a Θ (9) would otherwise be expected.

In the science fiction TV series Doctor Who, the character of the Doctor was once known as Theta Sigma whilst he lived on Gallifrey...

Lightbulb Hotel Califawnia

It Was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1977...It is one of the oldest and largest all-wooden buildings in California...

In the mid-1880s, the San Diego region was in the midst of one of its first real estate booms. At that time, it was common for a developer to build a grand hotel as a draw for what would otherwise be a barren landscape...The Crown Room was Reid's masterpiece. Its wooden ceiling was installed with pegs and glue. Not a single nail was used...

On April 7, 1920 Edward, Prince of Wales, was honoured with a grand banquet in the Crown Room... There has been speculation that it was at this event that he first met his future wife Wallis Spencer...He pointed out that "the fathers, mothers and wives were given priority to the rooms because it may be the last time they will see their sons and husbands."

The SS Monte Carlo was an oil tanker launched in 1921 as the SS McKittrick but later became a gambling and prostitution ship in 1936 off the coast of Coronado, California...Ever since then, some guests that have checked into room 3327 have reported flickering lights and floating objects...

Lightbulb Study of Birds

As the camera pores over 92 mixed media pictures hung in a gallery (all painted exquisitely by Greenaway himself), a pedantic narrator describes his mysterious journey to H, using the pictures as maps. Subtitled The Reincarnation of an Ornithologist, this film seems to be concerned with the migration of a soul (to Heaven or Hell) following the migratory paths of birds (which feature prominently) – but along the way it takes in the curious provenance and intrepretation of each painting, and it documents a bewildering intrigue between the narrator, his mentor Tulse Luper and his rival van Heuten (keeper of the owls at the Amsterdam Zoo).

James Bond (January 4, 1900 – February 14, 1989) was a leading American ornithologist, an expert on the birds of the Caribbean. His name was appropriated by writer Ian Fleming for his fictional spy, James Bond...Ian Fleming, who was a keen bird watcher living in Jamaica, was familiar with Bond's book, and chose the name of its author for the hero of Casino Royale in 1953, apparently because he wanted a name that sounded 'as ordinary as possible'. Fleming wrote to the real Bond's wife, "It struck me that this brief, unromantic, Anglo-Saxon and yet very masculine name was just what I needed, and so a second James Bond was born."

Bond was born in Philadelphia on January 4, 1900. His interest in natural history was spurred at an expedition his father, Francis E. Bond, undertook in 1911 to the Orinoco Delta. Bond was originally educated in Concord, New Hampshire, but after the death of his mother he moved with his father to England in 1914. There he studied at Harrow and later Cambridge University, where he obtained a B.A in 1922. After graduating he moved back to the United States and worked for a banking firm for three years in Philadelphia. An interest in natural history prompted him to quit and accept a place on an expedition to the Amazon run by the Academy of Natural Sciences...

Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary,
Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore —
While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,
As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door.
"'Tis some visiter," I muttered, "tapping at my chamber door —
Only this and nothing more."

Lightbulb B G Lamas

Q: What does it mean to be the Red-Hat Lama?

Formerly in Tibet, there were two famous Lamas who were the first so-called “reincarnations”. They were known as Karmapa and Shamarpa, both alternatively the head of the Karma-Kagyu lineage. They had a great influence in the way Tibet was governed from the fourteenth century up to 1642 when the dynasty of the Dalaï lamas was established by the Mongols...

Q: Why the two colours –– red and black?

The Red-Hat has to do with the sunset color, symbolizing the direction of the pure Land of the Buddha of Infinite Light, called “Amitabha”. The Black Hat is supposed to have been made mystically out the hair of Dakinies or celestial goddesses but was visible only for people who developed a very pure mind. One day, the Yongle Emperor, who was the prince of Yan and the third emperor of the Ming dynasty, saw it above the head of his teacher, the Fifth Karmapa, and decided to craft it as a crown to be offered to him as homage. In those times there was no opposition to China.

Q: Do you think you will be able to reduce corruption, because human beings in general …

You cannot eradicate corruption, but with this system you can reduce it to a level that is acceptable !!!

Lightbulb Black Hats

The gestation period of humans is 266 days, 8 days short of nine months give or take....White babies aged just nine-months-old show signs of racial bias, according to a study in facial recognition....Researchers at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst found that by the young age the babies were already discriminating against those of different races in their ability to recognise faces and emotional expressions. They analysed 48 Caucasian babies with little to no experience of African-American or black individuals...and Vice Versa...
