I would write if I were you, small phrases of wisdom, the way you do
here in the thread.

Later on you can write a whole book on whatever topic you want.

Small phrases of wisdom would be a good start vern.

People like that.

Call it something like VERN'S MAXIMS

“Writing a book is an adventure. To begin with, it is a toy and an amusement; then it becomes a mistress, and then it becomes a master, and then a tyrant. The last phase is that just as you are about to be reconciled to your servitude, you kill the monster, and fling him out to the public.”

WINSTON CHURCHILL

Default Book introduction

Introduction.

Writing a book is not what I saw myself doing at any point in my life; playing music, winning the lottery, designing something useful, even being uselessly brilliant, all topped the charts ahead of writing a book. But that wasn’t the course apparently.
Where it all stemmed from? Who catalogues their life? Who spends time everyday in a narrative, from childhood, explaining in first second and third person how their views are developing in the world? Ok I’ll admit I toyed with the very thing a few times growing up, mostly in my later teens and early twenties, imagining myself in some spotlight of global adoration. I was vain and very into me for a while, like some odd parallel reality where my processing was simply all that was. I was drawing guitar designs in junior high as well as tremolo systems, and a bunch of other things.
I guess it all kind of came to a head in Mrs. Reynolds English class. The assignment was “ Describe yourself and your world”, or something to that effect. It dawned on me at the ripe old age of 12 or 13 that I really wasn’t me, I was a mixture of influences. The realization started a revolution, a resistance movement that spanned decades. Whatever society thought was ideal, insightful, and useful; the list could go on and on to the extreme of nitpicking the very cloth that society is printed on in word and ideal.
I wanted or desired to find an original experience, not one that was packaged by friends, foes and the media complex, especially the media complex. I felt that it was in err, wasn’t genuine, did not speak of a genuine experience of self but was more a vessel by which non genuine intelligences could find niches of acceptance, Libraries of definitive that were prepackaged for the everyday person too focused on making a buck to care about a genuinely original experience.
We live in a world where if you say something that has true impact, true meaning and stings the right peoples egos, this world will cause you to pay in pain. Tell a tough guy the truth about his chauvinistic abusive narcissism and? Right, You become the next target. Key phrases for today’s societal descriptors include words like sociopathic, schizophrenic, bi polar, again another tedious list, and I don’t know if you’ve notices but most of the mountains in society begin and end with these lists. Having been a list member all my life, I kept finding lists I belonged to as my perspectives changed; and to be quite honest with you, that more than annoyed me.
My guess is I cant be the only one; my Proof could be seen as the drug culture, where a certain percentage are actually trying to break out of the boxes society presents as comfort zones.

Feeling powerless isn’t a fun thing, yet we all do it; and not just once in a while we do it continuously on behalf of government and money systems, bosses, peer groups; that’s the essential construct of the mountains and cages in this world, and to be honest they really don’t even exist at all except in our minds.
It really begs the question; I mean like, on its hands and knees, screaming at the top of its lungs, begging; “what is a real and original perspective?”
Is it illusory personal power within guidelines to being able to voice an opinion or offer input is a preset scenario? Coloring within the lines as it were. Personal power comes from freedom and it has long been said by accused mystics that freedom is freedom from ego. Ego has many definitions, in my view it is the mind in the context of what is most apparent in the worlds data construct. Is it even conscionable to think there is more than the mind on history written by the victors of global intrigue?
You walk into a room and sense, you feel all eyes upon you; you’re dressed well for the occasion so you feel good. Another person walks in dressed less admirably, the clothes cost less, its apparent the person doesn’t have the ability to personify the group caliber, so from the start, even before the person gets there is uncomfortable. From that point energy is flowing like mad at the atomic level, through the mind and heart, creating huge fields of electromagnetic sensations.
A person is quite more and less than people imagine, but a few things hold true, were all mentally preoccupied based on stigmas associated by long evolving social trends, often created by people of influence. Lets look up some of those trends; one of my faves is wardrobe malfunctions; not that its revealing but that its so commonplace, and look at the people doing such things. Can we honestly say it doesn’t pump their social attention to have a wardrobe malfunction?
Seems a bit more designed to me, and the more I’ve looked into it the more I see that its selling sexuality; since a home made pornographic movie is too much for some stars to endure; which was yet another trend, (thank you Paris Hilton), wardrobe malfunctions take center stage as advertisements. That’s right, indecent exposure is the new TV ad. OOPS!!
That’s just a small speck on the mind in the context of global boxes, reinventions of conventions that work to the effect of varying the same inputs that have been around for thousands of years.
But is it realistic to say the person can be free of the mind? What we call ego. Gurus often talk about ego death, yet strangely don’t do so from disembodied comatose states; and lets be realistic, do they honestly think the world is going to sit on their ass in a monastery meditating all day? One of the things I’ve considered is whether or not there is a practical application of higher mind at all. Not that its unachievable, but that among 7 billion people it could well be an improbability with the state of consciousness being as base as it is.
When trying to answer the question of personal power and freedom one is presented with a virtual brick wall of the current state of the human mind, and this has been the case for a very long time. If you look at the modern system carefully its hard to argue that the entire thing looks like a nurse maid, father, mother, brother in arms, and etc. Taking vast personal emotional meanings and depths and steered by? I mean really who are these people? Privileged leaders who are no less flawed than any criminal. Ahh but then look at the people beneath them, just as criminally flawed; so the best humankind can do for itself is just pick the most efficient and charismatic criminals because its nothing more than a criminal itself.

How? That’s the question everyone is going to ask with stern looks on their faces. Allowing it is being a contributor. And we all know this so stage two, if that’s the case I need to redefine criminality; And human kind becomes a willing participant in one fell swoop. Its criminal to poison the earth, its criminal to wage wars, Its criminal to allow belief to over rule the basic human bond, and its criminal to cast each other off and leave each other in ignorance that causes more destruction. And these things are precisely what we do, every minute of every day. For a short list of criminal charges against humankind it works and could probably be argued against, though not very effectively; the only defense any human has is well that’s just the way the world is set up. No that’s just how you allowed the dogmas and paradigms to set you up.
Proof that it’s criminal and we’re subconsciously acknowledging our participation is we allow it to continue. Were 7 billion strong, do you honestly think if the light came on and we decided to do something better they could do anything?

But Houston we have a problem with the spaceship, Only a few are even remotely qualified to pilot this interstellar craft; as illuminated by our daily lives, we rarely go outside of the most base aspects of daily life; food, water, shelter, companionship, and etcetera. Our minds are stacked in a pyramid of what we choose to realize and apply, making it problematic that we do anything more than follow Nero into the stadium and listen to that idiotic composition again so we can live another day.

We were different at one time; I remember it well it was like a bunch of yesterdays ago. I was a kid thinking “what the hell is wrong with this place, why are these people like this?” Its my conviction that we were all there and simply forgot that we were different at one point. That this world more or less brutalized us into the evolution of the last generation’s dullness. How much free-er can you be when you don’t know anything about the data construct of the world? Oh well that’s a new way of putting an old idea. For centuries mystics have taught the key to overcoming ego is unknowing what you know; the experiences you have had based on flawed information, since its that flawed base of information that created the foundation of all the drama you have encountered.

Is it really that simple? Basically yes. From Jesus allegedly sating those who are not like these children will not enter the gates of heaven to virtually any other person of the same devout mechanic saying similarly. In essence returning to that point as a child when the world’s data construct hadn’t yet sunk in. That is intrinsically tied to ego and how ego manifests data in this world. The data produces the outcome and the outcome has long been criminal. The upside is that as adults free from such data constraints, there’s bound to be a whole lot of changes if humanity decides to un-know all of this madness. The key to a world solution really isn’t any farther off than that. The more we un know the more were free to base our interactions on purer ideals. But if you’re corrupted by this data pool and simply cant reboot, you may as well forget trying. Honestly you’re better off being directed than not.

I was asked by several people to write a book, It seems as though the things I comment on are interesting to a few; My pointless introduction actually has a point beyond the meandering that poses more questions than answers. I don’t have your answers and maybe you’re asking yourselves the wrong questions. I would have to say that’s a likely candidate for a short summation of what’s wrong with the world. But maybe if I think differently enough, exhibit self imposed questions and processes you hadn’t considered, maybe that is enough. I really don’t think any decent teacher of spirituality or anything for that matter, should ever do more than inspire you to ask yourself more challenging questions.

Among the best questions: “ what am I really sensing, how am I sensing it, how can I explain it?”
“ What is the totality of the thing that I am in my own data construct, away from the preordained niches of society.
“ If I am my own solution how many will that help and what is being my own solution?”
Of course the inner dialogue is simply endless; frustrating captivating, horrifying; welcome to ego.

Just because I started at a very young age in this pursuit , it gives me no license to be called teacher or guru, nor does it set me anywhere other than the same old equality that was there among the other newborns who cried in nearby cribs. If anything as most charlatans have forgotten it becomes an obligation and a serious responsibility to lead people within. Not to the Pleiades, or to channeling Abraham, or anything other than the specifically relevant I AM in the specifically relevant here and now, because to be very frank, that’s all that ever mattered.

Where what is in me has illumined for others lies in us all. You don’t need to do the years of research I’ve done you simply need to cast off the data construct that got you this far in its totality, over come ego as Buddhists say, or as Jesus said overcome the world. When the world data construct rules your mind you aren’t you and you’re not having a genuine experience and you sense that deep inside, My hope is that simplifying it as such, clarifies that. What you know isn’t yours, what you do know is within the lines of a coloring book not created by your own original experience.

Nice post Vern! About you writing a book. If you can write a book that removes all thoughts, fear, confusion and doubt then do it Otherwise there's no point in writing a book.
