being a pioneer in a social outlook comes at the cost of those willingly surrendering their personal power to statism, criticizing you for having the balls to rightfully question the social mechanics they whore their power to for personal gain. IF this group of nobodies dislikes you its because they are nobodies.

Quote:
The definition of freedom is the infinite value of the human being. The definition of evil is the destruction of freedom. Everything that is evil teaches people that they have limited value.
Opening sentences from Jeremy Lockes' book 'The End of All Evil', a book I recommend you ALL read.

EDIT: Here's more:

Quote:
Truth is always simple. All people recognize truth because all people are intelligent beings. It is the nature of evil to create artificially complex ideas. It does this to hide or obfuscate the freedom it destroys. If you remove the complexities and fears from your life you will find a plain and beautiful truth. This truth is the nature of your worth.

To understand freedom is to understand the value of a person. Everything that evil wants is to disguise and destroy your value. All authority is created by evil men to disguise your worth. To understand your own worth is to understand the nature of liberty.

The crucial key for understanding our world is to understand the nature of evil. Evil challenges the value of people by denying them the opportunity to make their own choices; by denying them the chance to grow strong in learning and understanding.
Quote:
There is a dark conspiracy which has clouded the minds of humanity throughout all ages. This conspiracy is evil incarnate, and controls vast mountains of human emotions, work, thought and speech. It has been responsible for the deaths of hundreds upon hundreds of millions and the slavery of nearly every being who has ever lived.
If you can accept a single principle—that you have infinite worth—then this book will give you the vision necessary to see the world as it truly is. To know once and for all that this dark conspiracy is not strong, but weak; that evil is not growing, but dying.
Ah, enough spoilers. Read the book!

I just can't get over how brilliantly simple this is.

Gems from UG

http://www3.ul.ie/~sextonb/ug/index.htm

"Boredom is a bottomless pit. As long as you think that there is something more interesting, more purposeful, more meaningful to do than what you are actually doing, you have no way of freeing yourself from boredom."

"The whole purpose of a conversation or dialogue is only to convert the other man to your point of view. If you have no point of view, there is no way he can convince or convert you to his point of view. "

UG:

It would be more interesting to learn from children, than try to teach them how to behave, how to live and how to function.

Only if you reject all the other paths can you discover your own path.

All experiences, however extraordinary they may be, are in the area of sensuality.

I am not in conflict with the society. I am not interested in changing it. The demand to bring about a change in myself isn't there anymore. So, the demand to change the world at large is not there. I suffer with the suffering man and am happy with the happy man...

I don't have any thoughts which I can call my own--not one thought, not one word, not one experience.

'Be selfish and stay selfish' is my message. Wanting enlightenment is selfishness. Charity is selfishness.

Food, clothing and shelter- these are the basic needs. Beyond that, if you want anything, it is the beginning of self-deception.

The fact is that we don't want to be free. What is responsible for our problems is the fear of losing what we have and what we know. All these therapies, all these techniques, religious or otherwise, are only perpetuating the agony of man.

"I don't have any thoughts which I can call my own--not one thought, not one word, not one experience. " UG Krishnamurti

That quote sounds very familiar:

"Not one thought—not one atom of thought—subsists in me, not even that of the miracle being accomplished, of the fabulous gem I am laying bare, not even the thought of that thought. My thought is dead, the illusion dissipated; that which I considered until that instant as the very armor of my interior existence, as the base of myself, has ceased to be. For the first time, in the silence of my thunderstruck thought, in the absolute vacuity of my mind where all form, all movement has succumbed, I AM." —Stephen Jourdain

Can you conceive the slightest difference
between you talking to yourself
and knowing yourself within the brotherly intimacy
of your spirit,
and someone else talking to himself
and knowing himself within the brotherly intimacy
of his spirit ?

and since, obviously,
this is you, that is the other,
as well as it is me,
can you conceive the slightest difference
between me and you ?

Well, it didn't sound like that to me.
