I just got the movie THE GREAT ESCAPE today on VHS (1963),I didnt realise it was 2 tapes!!! (I swear we rented that movie from blockbuster in the 90s I think and it was only 1 tape! (It wasnt the original master though as @ the end there was that LETTERBOX crap) I hope this one doesnt have that garbage!! (Its a 1980 release (Put on the tape in 1983 by CBS/FOX))

I bought several Robert Wyatt CDs, including Ruth is Stranger than Richard, and Rock Bottom. They are sublime.
Also the best of Curved Air, and some stuff by Can and Renaissance which I haven't listened to yet .

I didnt think so either until I got his earlier 80s stuff! (Should have figured, the late 80s is when everything started going straight downhill!!)

ITS QUITE GOOD AND NOT CRAPPY LIKE THE LATE 80S STUFF/90s stuff I HAVE HEARD FROM HIM!! (Which isnt as good)

Anyway today I got 2 45s

1) Def Leppard - Photograph/Action! Not Words (I have this album also)
2) Bob Segar - You'll accomp'ny me/Betty lou's gettin' out tommorow

Today I got these

1) A 45: Asia - Ride Easy/Heat of the moment (I also have thier first album with this song (THIER BEST ALBUM))

2) Bryan adams - reckless (ON VHS (A collection of videos from his 'RECKLESS' album))

I THINK ITS SAFE TO SAY RECKLESS IS HIS BEST ALBUM -- OH MY.......... And the last song was a surprise as it WASNT LISTED ON THE TAPE BOX AS ONE OF THE SONGS ON THE COLLECTION! ("One night love affair" -- (Played during the ending credits) OH MY....this song is in the movie 'REAL GENIUS' (1985) also and it sounds JUST AS GOOD!!! -- I am so glad this tape WAS NOT DIGITALLY COMPROMISED!!!!!!! (I had THE DOORS 'LIVE IN EUROPE' (1968) on VHS also the other day and it sounded like crap..... At the end of the tape I discovered why "Sound Mix: Digital enterprises" (Or something "Digital") I got rid of it!!

I have a doors greatest hits 2 record set.... I can hear thier stuff in 100% analogue! (Much nicer IN MY OPINION)

Today I got a record

Blood, sweat and tears - No name on it

and a vhs tape!

WOODSTOCK 69! -- 2 tapes

I was happy I found this... I had found one last month and I just sat on ceremony and one day it was gone.... Then I starting trying to find other copies and all I could find were DIGITALLY PROCESSED copies .. I finally found another earlier release of this that IS NOT DIGITALLY PROCESSED and I wasnt gonna let it go again!!!!

The original 1987 release of this IS NOT DIGITALLY PROCESSED while the newer 1992 release is

Woodstock 1994 IS DIGITALLY MASTERED on its offical tape and Woodstock 99 was digitally recorded ...... Woodstock 69 is the only one out there (1987 release) that hasnt been digitally affected and WITH THAT BEING THE BEST ONE OF THEM ALL,its quite awesome!!!

I wanna hear the music IN ANALOG!!!!!! (I dont want it to sound compromised because the tape was digitally altered)

Today I got a 45: The cars - Lets go/Thats it

And a VHS tape: THE GRATEFUL DEAD LIVE ON NEW YEARS EVE 1986 (12/31/85 from Oakland Coliseum Arena)

www.dead.net/show/december-31-1985

It was recorded off analog cable (On USA network)

Excellent concert..... NO COMMERCIALS AND FULL SCREEN!! (I think USA is too greedy these days to air a concert of that length WITH NO SPAM ADS!! (Crap on the screen, etc))

Only thing is THE TAPE RAN OUT (But there was over 2 hrs and what WAS THERE was fabulous 80s grateful dead)
