The towers were broken into three zones. The elevator core was set up with express elevators (11 on one side amd 12 on the other I believe). The center of the core contained 24 local elevators. The express elevators shuttled people to the two skylobbies (one skylobby on the 44th floor and one on the 78th floor).

Depending in which zone people worked in, they would either take the local elevators in the center of the core to get to the floors in the first zone or take the express elevators located on the outside of the core to get to the 44th or 78th floor sky lobbies. They would exit at the sky lobby of their zone and go to the middle of the core to catch a local elevator to their respective floor.

There was an elevator that went from the lobby level straight to the restaurant on top of the tower. There was also a freight elevator that went the length of the tower to the basement. That's the one Arturo was in.
