More likely a blob of JFK's brain (the official story), or to escape the vehicle in which the money-shot assassin- the driver - was sitting (the action has been largely airbrushed out of the Zapruder film in the 12 years before it was first publicly broadcast, but you can perhaps still get an uncanny sense of this under the crude re-touching if you watch it for long enough on loop).

Why would they have the driver, Greer, twist around and shoot Kennedy in the head with a pistol? It seems like a ludicrously risky thing to do. Maybe it was a backup plan, a last resort to ensure Kennedy definitely died , if the other assassins hadn't already guaranteed it. Maybe there was also some kind of ritualistic motive behind the 'King's' driver being the one to execute him.

Or maybe the theory is just wrong. But what makes me suspect there's something to it, is how quick most JFK researchers are to scoffingly dismiss the idea outright, based solely on the fact that NOWADAYS, a close inspection of the players in the front seat indicates that the Greer pistol action is only an illusion created by the reflection of Kellerman's head.

But the film has obviously been airbrushed and manipulated in other areas and ways, and when you look at this section in that light, it does look like it's been done here too.

I'm not married to the theory, but in years I've seen nothing to sensibly discredit it.

And of course, Bill Cooper claimed this is was what really happened, and we all know how that ended.

Why did she get back in car instead of hitting the deck ? Which is what I would
have done.

There's a few referencies to Kennedies in The Simpsons.

For example Jacqueline Kennedy's maiden name was Bouvier. Marge Simpson's maiden name is also Bouvier.

If she heard/sensed that the driver had turned around and shot her husband, it might have been a natural, gut-level reaction that made her want to immediately get out of the same car the murderer was in.

Hitting the deck inside the car, i.e. flattening on the seat or getting down behind the seat would seem to me to be a more natural reaction if you thought the killshot had come from somewhere above and outside the car. By crawling out onto the back of the limo (nice ass, btw!) she is instantly making herself a much bigger target for book depository/grassy knoll shooters.

There does seem to be a blob of brain on the back of the vehicle after the headshot, however she ignores it by clearly reaching past it as she crawls onto the back of the car. There is also the possibility that this brain blob was airbrushed in later (like Kennedy's brain-flopping head explosion, itself) to provide an official explanation for her behavior.

It looks to me like she wanted out of the car, but the agent riding on the rear bumper directs her with a gesture and also probably verbally, to get back in her seat...which she promptly proceeds to do.

How a pampered aristocratic female reacts to seeing her husbands brains being splattered on her and roundabouts couldn't possibly reveal very much regarding the perpetrators. She's in a blind panic.

It was a very controlled event.
The documentary "Evidence of Revision" shows how the story was modified from the outset.
