Default Brahama Kumaris

I went to this event last night:

at the Oxford Town Hall
Thursday, 24 July, 7.30 - 9.00pm
Is God Necessary?
Liz Hodgkinson, prolific journalist, author and broadcaster about health and lifestyle, in conversation with Jayanti Kirpalani, European Director of the Brahma Kumaris (Source: http://www.globalretreatcentre.org.uk/
It was interesting, if a little sickly-sweet for my taste. The two ladies had a conversation then they opened the discussion to the floor. There were no really controversial debates unfortunatly. I was hoping Richard Dawkins might turn up and get hair flying!

I've been to the BK Global Retreat Centre before; I'm lucky enough to live just a few miles from it. It's beautiful, especially the gardens.

Anyone else got any experiences with the BK?
