For me, the most interesting part of his speech is the timing of it. If he genuinely wanted to persuade people not to vote leave, his campaigning should have been prior to the referendum. There's no way the government can do a u-turn now, it doesn't make sense.
So I thought it might be to do with these two by-elections and the discrediting of mr Corbyn.

Reading the above posts, it makes more sense for him to be in plain sight as the Pedo swamp starts being drained. Why else would he put up with the ridicule and hatred thrown at him? Trying to gain control of the narrative before it takes control of him?

There's no reason why the UK can't have an export lead economy like Germany or Japan and consequent standard of living and infrastructure after avoiding the sauron like eu.

http://www.peterloomassacre.org/history.html

hugely influential in getting ordinary people the right to vote

*edit* notice the year 1819 , and consider the voting rights not yet evolved in a democracy then fast forward 198 year's and how much does anyone really think democracy managed to alter any pre existing interests ? It has had differing success but should not be ignored because Tony Blair thinks he is on speaking terms with British people again. The guy's been in exile. Couldn't think of a worse job to give someone as a retirement gig than frequent trips to the middle east. What must some of the leaders of Middle Eastern nations think when they see him ? God only knows.

I'm pretty sure the evil came later on in the evening, behind closed doors.

Don't know why they objected, that would surely be very good noose indeed! The Guardian and Observer are now no more than neo-con lite.

Personally, I'd quite like to see him in a Trading Places scenario - out on the streets with a cardboard box, trying to cope with the ruthless money-centric society he and other factotums of the elite have inflicted upon us. Or cleaning toilets in a motorway service station at 6am after curry loving truckers have gone through.

Same should have happened to Thatch, she would have made an excellent insane bag lady.

Both him and the dark lord (Mandelson) have been back in the news lately and they both seem to be very powerfull in the murky world of shadow politics.

I wouldn't trust either of them. Blair has so much blood on his hands from the war in the middle east. He is also partially to blame for the economic mess we are in now.

Anyone who trusts the man or likes him must have issues. He is rotten to the core.

If anyone thinks that picture is real, they've got a screw loose.

The fact that people voted for him ( myself shamefully included) should tell you everything you need to know about how bad the Thatcher years were - vote anyone but Tory

Instead we voted Tony - turned out to be the same - Thatcher said her biggest achievement was Nu-Labour

He is being wheeled out now to try and derail the Corbyn train - we can't have an incorruptible man giving hope to the little people now can we

People might not agree with the way Corbyn does things because we have been conditioned to accept only polished, media savvy, sound bite politicians over the last 20 years who tell us what we want to hear while doing the exact opposite

personally I'm ready for a tell it how it is politician - I firmly believe it might be the last ever chance we get for a proper Labour party of the people government - they sure as hell won't let anyone like Corbyn get on the ballot for leader ever again

It has to be now or all we have left is two versions of the same thing -every fucking election

So true - "all we have left is two versions of the same thing". It's a complete mockery of our alleged democracy when the choice is no choice at all.

Anyone who wants to be a pretend PM has to do a sort of Bilderberg beauty contest, being viewed and assessed by the real movers and shakers.

Look who we find here, a few years before election:

http://publicintelligence.net/1975-b...ticipant-list/

Similarly, look who turns up here, again a few years before being elected:

http://publicintelligence.net/1993-b...ticipant-list/

Blair's appearance on this list is particularly sinister, as it's the year before John Smith's death.
