Quote:

FINISHING OUT THE full-moon week, the stars set the stage for a positive and open-ended dialogue to begin. Mercury and Uranus improve the potential for creative resolution and win/win. Thursday/Friday, run with it, have fun with it. It can be a snap to get something lucrative or social cooking.

Also on Thursday, Venus retrograde and Mars in Libra turn a significant corner regarding a relationship or financial jam-up. Watch for greater understanding and a perspective shift regarding feelings, wants, needs, justifications, and self-honouring. It is a time of letting things go, releasing, unblocking, and rebalancing. We can enter into a next round of negotiations, revise terms, and settle a score or contract.

Venus has recently begun a new 18-month cycle of relationship development. For the next seven months, Mars in Libra pushes against new relationship boundaries. By the start of March, Venus and Mars will turn the next corner. By May, a goalpost or end of the line will be reached. Venus and Mars are also on an intensified track regarding financial matters and professional development.

Aquarius month, starting at 7:51 p.m. on Sunday evening, brings a fresh-air infusion. The pace and opportunity pick up from here. Back-to-it Monday can be busy yet smooth-running. Tuesday evening into Wednesday, the social and hot-to-trot Libra moon revs things up again. Midweek can be brisk for sales and money markets.

Default Horoscope for the Week: January 17, 2014

Horoscope for the Week: January 17, 2014

By Michael O'Connor - Castlegar News

Quote:

Tip of the Week:

In the wake of the first Full Moon of the year, emotions are running high. The sobering state of the human condition continues to beat at our doors. There is a solution to every problem which can only be accessed when we are true. One of the main issues is that due to free will, we can choose contrary to what constitutes our authentic self. With many voices rising selling with seductive slogans of wealth and that you can be anything and have everything you want many are lured to sell out. Call it free will, ambition, or greed, either way it is probably not destiny. Everyone wants to be successful in their own right and that is good. But when success is vain and it leads us to close our doors to authentic and meaningful contributions, we all lose. Sadly, in many respects we are all losing. With each new day all the old problems we have heard about for so long have not only not gone away, they have gotten bigger. The seduction of the popular notion of success hisses like a serpent and distracts us from seeing a deeper truth. The greatest gift of Astrology is that it so accurately points people in directions that constitute authentic success. It outlines the path of our destiny, which is varied in scope and which is a co-creative journey which empowers us to achieve our full potential, or not. It speaks to one’s deepest sense of self-knowing. Astrology is simultaneously a psychology, philosophy and science of nature that gives voice to a universe that is conscious. If you have trouble ‘believing this’ it may be because you have never had a deep and intimate reading of your Birth Chart before. Beyond all predictions, good Astrology focuses deeply upon your core nature. I invite you to give it a try, to put it to the test. The world needs you now to be fully and authentically you.

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 20)

Looking back over the past 18 months or so will remind you how much you have changed. Hopefully you are you happy with the new you that is emerging. There is more to come and a good deal of it this year. The past few weeks have perhaps been heavy. There is time to weave deeper wisdom into your choices. Fortunately, you will feel reignited this week.

Taurus (Apr 20 – May 21)

If you have been yearning for some extra attention you will get your wish very soon. This is also a good time to approach authority figures for favours and earned rewards. Yet, you may want to avoid making any extra commitments just now. The focus remains on healing unbalanced relationship patterns and you may have a full plate.

Gemini (May 21 – Jun 21)

You are coming out of a tough stretch. Your twin may have found reason and opportunity to play these past few weeks, but not both of you. Now you both will be able to enjoy a more equal satisfaction level. Opportunities to express yourself more creatively and to get some recognition and hopefully some reward for it are on the horizon. See the lights….

Cancer (Jun 21 – Jul 22)

You have been shaken and stirred especially in the relationship department of late. It is all part of an expansion process destined to occur. It may be described as pushing you out of your comfort zone. The key now is to trust that there is purpose woven into it and there is. As the co-writer of your life script, how would you like this story to proceed?

Leo (Jul 22 – Aug 23)

If you have been waiting for some inspiration to be more social and have more fun, your patience is about to be rewarded. Your may still have to give more to feel the spirit and make things happen. Yet, already this week new ideas have been sparked and exchanged with others. This momentum will grow but to get the most out of it take action now.

Virgo (Aug 23 – Sep 22)

Getting organized to get creative continues. Yet this week a shift in the gears will lead you to get creatively organized. Perhaps it is your living space, or your thoughts, or your goals and dreams that require a better system. This trend will last for up to several weeks actually. Intend to make full use of it. Take your time to do it right.

Libra (Sep 22 – Oct 22)

A good deal of activity close to home should be keeping you busy. Seeing your home, or at least a power zone within it, as your headquarters and/or office will help. Mars in your sign through to July 2014 will help you to overcome obstacles and enter new territory. Some of it is psychological which implies an inspiration and attitude upgrade.

Scorpio (Oct 22 – Nov 21)

Making some key power plays early in the game is a top priority now. Yet, you may have to overcome some obstacles first. Inner fears, lack of clarity or conviction may be at issue. Home and family matters may be unsettled and disruptive. Generally, you have to navigate through emotional ups and downs. Take just one solid lead and it will inspire you.

Sagittarius (Nov 21 – Dec 21)

The building upon new foundations has already begun. These will occur amidst the continued clearing process that has been underway for some time. Breaking through inner and outer lines of resistance to the call of your destiny is featured. To know what is true, ask yourself if you are rationalizing or listening to your heart felt feelings, your inner authority.

Capricorn (Dec 21 – Jan 19)

A new quality of individuality has been emerging within you since spring 2011 in particular. Over the past six months or so your social influence has been rising. Together these have contributed to you being more assertive lately. The focus is split between family and business. Aim to balance giving with getting attention now.

Aquarius (Jan 19 – Feb 19)

Faithful perseverance is the key now and will remain so through to summer especially. This is probably not the time to initiate new projects; it seldom is just prior to our birthday. Practice self-acceptance and self-acknowledgement now to boost your psychological immune system against hidden fears of failure or rejection. Your resolve is strong now, make the most of it.

Pisces (Feb 19 – Mar 20)

Meeting people, making friends and/or increasing your social network are all likely possibilities now. As good as this is it may also be a distraction from important creative projects producing an inability to be fully present on either front. This current could remain active for another two weeks anyway. Focus to manage your time and concentrate on one thing at a time.

Full Moon Phase: fulfillment, illumination, realization, shadow, experience

Moon: Leo

Ruling Mahavidya: Kali

Standing at the entrance to Chiron's rainbow bridge, Kali speaks. "The properties of the rainbow bridge, the properties of light, are malleable and can produce a wide range of effects. This bridge has been configured like a prism that will filter into three parts: that which is held in high intention, that which is held in low intention, and that which is not yet determined. These energies will undergo refinement, as in processing. The high-minded energy is powerfully reinforced; the low-minded energy is scrubbed and polished; the neutral energy remains so. Crossing the bridge is an ascent in consciousness. It changes the nature of personal reality and worldwide reality. Are you ready to go?"

Energetically, we are walking across this bridge until January 24. During this time we will undergo intensive revision, refinement, and reconditioning. Everything goes through a "sorting process" - and that means everything. All aspects of our individual lives and all aspects of the world at large will be transforming. This kicks off today with the square between Mars and Venus. Remember that Venus is retrograde through the end of the month. During Venus retrograde, our value system is overhauled, which consequently overhauls our relationships. Relationships are deeply impacted today.

All of this is about value. What is your value base? Views are changing under this energy. Situations and circumstances that are not in our highest and best interests are being divided out from us. The principle of resonance is underlying, so "like" is being pulled toward "like" and unalike is being diverted elsewhere. It can be hard to experience this, especially if we are holding on to it. It goes much easier for us if we surrender the attempt at controlling the energy and just go along with it. It's transporting us into a new world, one of natural world order. It's good. No fear.

This little jaunt across the rainbow bridge sees us well prepared for what's in store on the other side. The maligned goddess Eris awaits her brother Mars while the trickster-magicians loom.

Default Creating a Happy, Serene, and Healthy Home

An Invitation to Comfort
Creating a Happy, Serene, and Healthy Home

January 16, 2014

by Madisyn Taylor

http://www.dailyom.com/articles/2014/41568.html

Quote:

Include all 5 senses while making a home, doing so provides safe haven for your evolving body and soul.

Your home is your oasis. Through your efforts, your house or apartment can become both a private sanctuary and a welcoming, serene, and healthy place to live in and visit. An organized and comfortable home can have a calming effect on you, your family, and guests, as well as be your personal escape from the rest of the world. Creating this nurturing space isn’t difficult. Even a household that includes young children or multiple animals can be a serene and peaceful place. In just a few minutes, you can make a number of changes that can turn your home into a safe and comfortable haven that you can be proud to share with your loved ones and friends.

One way to fill your house or apartment with calming energy is to imbue it with a peaceful ambiance that nurtures all five senses. Soft lighting and soothing colors like blue, purple, and green can make a space feel warm and inviting, while pleasant and calming aromas such as lavender and vanilla can positively affect moods. Peaceful sounds, such as running water in a fountain or gentle chimes can uplift and clear the space, while clearing clutter and making the most of open space can ease internal turmoil and dispel negative feelings. The physical objects in your home as well as your home itself can retain the energy of previous owners and the object’s creator. You can give your household’s energy a lift by visualizing white light surrounding our home, symbolically sweeping out residual energy, or smudging your home with cleansing sage.

The changes you make to your home can be as unique as you are and may involve utilization of space, lighting, new furniture, decorating, feng shui, or ritual. But what you do is not as important as being clear in your intention to set up your household as a soothing and refreshing place to be. Make your home a place of comfort, and you will feel nurtured and cared for whenever you are there.

Full Moon Phase: fulfillment, illumination, realization, shadow, experience

Moon: Leo

Ruling Mahavidya: Kali

This month's journey with the band of brothers turns into a strange trip today. We find that instead of walking across the bridge, the bridge is transporting us. We are passengers, seated on a glowing floor around our teacher, Kali. In another place, the energetic fields of our physical and emotional bodies are being filtered through the prism, sorted into three categories: keep, transform, undecided. Our consciousness is here attending class.

"Each of you is a rainbow bridge, a bridge to the flowering of humanity. Your efforts are important. But there is one thing that undermines your course - distraction by illusion. Humanity, with its inherent code of sweetness, is easily fooled. Fear is continually projected to keep you in the shadows, detached from your greatness, and distracted from manifesting and actualizing that greatness.

"Together, we are bringing down this illusion, this tyranny over the mind of humanity. Systems based in power and control are dissolving all around. It is a spectacle from which it is hard to turn away. Destruction is mesmerizing. This is where most people are getting stuck. But look beyond to what's underneath. The strength of thousands has upheld the truths of nature that were mostly eradicated. These truths have resonated from your heart and your deep connection with nature herself. They have formed the structure of the world that is emerging.

"At this point in time, where do you place your focus? On what is dissolving or what is emerging? Do you wish to live in fear of the transformation or do you choose to look deeper into it?"

The energies of this Full Moon phase continue to be complex. Situations in our lives and in the world at large are re-arranging and we are along for the ride. We are sorting out our thoughts and feelings trying to come to new understandings. It's a healing process. The Sun moves to the degree of Venus' retrograde, revisiting relationship issues and issues related to value/values. The forces of love and attraction are strong today, even to the point of recklessness. There is an element to the energy where we are inclined to throw off all restrictions, limitations and inhibitions. This is a wonderful thing if we maintain it within the principles of respect.

As good students of nature, Mother Nature, the Goddess Gaia Sophia, we are taking instruction from her emissary Kali today. She is pointing out what lies beneath, calling forth the seeds of our souls that crave expression. We are unique beings engaged in a process of transformation from the inside out and restoring a world from the inside out. For this we are deeply loved and appreciated.

Getting Back to Wellness
Seven Quick Fixes to Feel Better

January 17, 2014

by Madisyn Taylor

http://www.dailyom.com/articles/2014/41569.html

Quote:

Anxiety and fear dissipate quickly when countered with conscious breathing.

The signals our bodies use to tell us we need to cleanse ourselves physically, mentally, and emotionally are multifaceted and often mirror symptoms we associate with illness. If we heed these signs, we not only feel better quickly but also stave off poor health before it can start. These quick fixes for common ailments can get you started.

1. Applying pressure to the acupressure point between the thumb and forefinger can release blockages causing pain, tension, and fatigue. You can relieve a headache naturally by squeezing for 20 seconds and releasing for 10 seconds, without letting go, four times.

2. To breathe freely, irrigate your nasal passages with a neti pot and warm salt water. As you clear and soothe the sinuses, congestion associated with allergies or infection will gradually disappear.

3. Apple cider vinegar is a powerful purifying and detoxifying agent. Soaking for 20 minutes in a warm bath infused with two cups of apple cider vinegar pulls toxins from the body and can clear blocked energy.

4. The foods you eat can have a profound impact on your outlook and mood. Eating a small yet satisfying meal rich in complex carbohydrates can lift your spirit and help you let go of feelings of anger, irritability, and depression.

5. Anxiety and fear dissipate quickly when countered with conscious breathing because concentrating on the breath enables you to refocus your attention inward. You can ground yourself and regain your usual calm by taking a series of deep belly breaths as you visualize your feet growing roots that stretch miles down into the earth.

6. Though tuning out can seem counterproductive, a few minutes spent lost in daydreams or listening to soothing music can help you see your circumstances from a new angle when you feel frustrated.

7. If you feel ill health coming on, brew a wellness elixir. Simmer three sliced lemons, one teaspoon freshly grated ginger, one clove freshly minced garlic, and one quarter teaspoon cayenne pepper in five cups water until the lemons are soft and pale. Strain a portion into a mug and add honey by tablespoons until you can tolerate the taste. Drinking this potent mixture of antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal ingredients three times each day can ensure your symptoms never progress into a full-blown illness.

Default The Sound of the Void

The Sound of the Void

January 16, 2014

http://talk2momz.com/2014/01/16/the-sound-of-the-void/

Quote:

How good it is when you begin to heal and you’re suddenly aware of the change – it’s the wonderful ‘wow I feel better’ moment. Whether it’s physical, emotional or spiritual, back into balance is mighty nice. Now, I’m guessing that there are readers who are consistently in balance and rarely experience the ‘I feel better’ moment. They’re always better, and that’s a beautiful thing. I’m happy for all of those who enjoy wellness throughout their lives. Health practices, right living, right thinking, self-protection; plus maybe just a bit of genetic good luck can go a long way toward an illness-free life.

And yet I know there are plenty of spiritually-minded beautiful and loving people who experience stress, anxiety, disease, weight issues, addiction, depression, age-related discomfort… all sorts of impacts from growing up and living in an ‘energy-hostile’, conditioned, programmed, toxic world. What peace and oneness we may know at birth we soon forget as the dis-ease of this 3-D experience takes over. We begin to do as we are supposed to do, or as we are sometimes forced to do… and we experience harm to our true selves and to our physical bodies as well. Something starts to know discomfort… something starts to retreat to the back room of longing.

Was Carl Jung right when he said, “What you resist not only persists, but will grow in size?” My life experience tells me yes: how much ground can you gain if you ‘fight’ anxiety, for example. If energy-depleted or out of balance is what we are, we can accept what we are, forgive ourselves, love ourselves and decide to change. Healing involves a change of heart, which is intention; followed by dedication, effort, commitment, and belief.

Belief: an essential element of any change is believing the change has already occurred. Trust yourself… the circumstances you imagine already exist!

For the past few weeks I’ve been observing the effects of stress on the people around me. Stress, whether it manifests as physical, emotional or spiritual, is such a factor in depletion of energy and going out of balance. Meditation, on one level, is a tried and true way of dealing with stress, raising energy and bringing balance. It is also favorable for some other wonderful outcomes including direct experience of the unified field of intelligence, also referred to as the void or the morph.

I understand that meditation may not be a busy person’s first choice for healing, stress reduction or even consciousness work. There are other choices that people make… from martial arts to yoga to ayahuasca, and even to reading a book or walking in nature. These things are great choices, and if they work, they work. Still, there are unique benefits to meditation; benefits that may actually have the effect of tipping the collective consciousness back toward balance. So I encourage it and I do it… gratefully.

When people tell me that meditation takes some getting used to, and they are not sure it’s benefiting them, and they are not sure they’re making any progress… well, what’s new? That’s no different than my own experience. Unlike in years gone by, when people would spend decades devoted to a master, we are living in a ‘sped up’ world. Once society tells us that our ‘growing up’ is done, responsibilities come on fast. Few of us have the inclination or the resources for a ‘tune in drop out’ lifestyle. Most are inclined to do like I did… come to meditation as a life-saving, lifelong growth process.

A little bit of my story: My first experience with meditation was kind of funny, and a total flop. A friend of mine had made the wise observation that I needed to calm my mind, and he suggested that I meditate on an object… any object… even a paperclip. So when the children were napping, I began to sit still and force my overactive mind to focus on a paperclip. Ha! Every argument in the arsenal, plus plenty of body aches and itches, came up to tell me what a stupid idea meditation is. After about two weeks I signed off with a “No thanks, I have things to do.”

That’s the funny thing about change. If you don’t come to the realization yourself, and it’s pushed on you from someone else, it won’t last.

The next time I felt the need to meditate and explore within was after raising two families and years of political activism. I knew I was in trouble spiritually. Self esteem had dropped to an all-time low and my stoic, ‘I’m doing the right thing’ attitude was crumbling. Feeling a kind of desperate need for self, I returned to the consciousness and self-help books that had sustained me in the past. There I found a recommendation for the theta metronome sound.

I made the decision, dedicated the time, and began listening to the ‘irritating’ beeping rhythm. Eventually that beeping became almost like a friend. I could definitely see the benefit of slowing down my brainwave activity in this way. In this meditation you don’t focus on any imagery… you let the sound take the attention. Later I would realize that the great gift is in the space between sounds, but at that time I didn’t know it, and it didn’t matter. What mattered was the trance state, the relaxation, and the inner vision that began to open up.

So what happened next? I came into contact with meditation for self-clearing and energy raising, moving and expansion. This happened through contact with a remote healer who was also a meditation guide. The energy work is done through visualization. Self-clearing, which uses some guided imagery or sometimes simply intention, was done in group meditation. The focus of the group work was on inner child, letting go of attachments, connecting with inner feminine and masculine and so on. I have enjoyed all of this work, and benefited greatly from it.

Still, I felt the need for something that would carry me forward as a lifetime practice… something that would take me to the void or morph, and to the unified field of oneness. I had read, from Deepak Chopra, that, “Silently repeating a mantra as you meditate is a powerful way to enter the silence of the mind.” I had also read that healing comes faster through use of a mantra, and that the ideal is to receive a mantra from a teacher who is familiar with your individual resonance (your energy /sound /vibration /light).

Through a reading and remote healing I had come to know Soren Dreier, and when I saw that he had a new offering based upon his accumulated skills of energy reading, remote healing utilizing sound, and Ruby Road (detachment) meditation – with a mantra based on the individual’s resonance – I realized that life had sent me, again, exactly what I need.

This type of meditation targets stress… at first, surface-based stress, and then it goes deeper into emotional stress. After that, even deeper… into the void. Beautifully, the mantra is protective, so I could completely surrender to the experience, knowing that I wouldn’t encounter anything to break the peace.

As my story demonstrates, there is a natural inclination within us to be healed from the onslaught of a world not so friendly to consciousness. Something loves us, something wants us to be in balance, and it must be our own ‘I Am’. Opportunity comes, and it meets our needs. We call it synchronicity.

Could it be that the oneness that we knew at birth never did leave us; it stayed in that back room of longing as nudge to move forward… a spiritual need? I think so: somewhere deep inside we have always heard the sound of the void, and that is what helps us shape our reality.

Default How Do I Know If It’s My Soul or My Ego Talking?

How Do I Know If It’s My Soul or My Ego Talking?

Quote:

In personocratia, we talk about making the transfer of power from ego to soul in order to create the shift of consciousness that we hope for. But how do I know if it is my soul or my ego talking? Since it is a recurrent question, I thought it was time to write about it, and share with you some simple tools to help develop your discernment.

Differentiating ego from soul is often tricky. First, because very few people had direct contact with their soul, therefore we don’t know much about how it feels. Secondly, a great deal of confusion is intentionally perpetuated by religion, spirituality and science to make sure people do not connect with their soul. Indeed, if they do, they would free themselves from domination, and that would mark the end of the world of illusion in which we presently live.

On the other hand, there is one character that we know intimately — he is the one who has been leading our lives for millennia. I call him Mr. Ego. He is the one who would be much easier to identify. When we know it is ego talking then, by deduction, we know this is not our soul.

Presently, our mental, vital and physical bodies are under the governance of our ego 99.99% of the time. So, let’s get to know him. Ghis came up with simple recipes to help us sharpen our discernment, a necessary skill until we can establish a direct connection with our soul. Here are the three main characteristics that undoubtedly define ego.

Ego Speaks

The expression “listen to your soul” is often misleading. Indeed, the soul does not speak; it’s ego that speaks, and as a matter of fact, very loudly. In my search to follow my soul’s will, I often call on her for guidance, and usually, obviously, I expect an answer from her.

Unfortunately, most of the time — if not all the time — the first answer that comes is not from my soul, but from my ego. I’ll use a little story to illustrate what happens in the background of our consciousness.

Let’s imagine that Mr. Ego and Ms. Soul live under the same roof (body), and there’s only one phone line in the house to contact either of the two. So, every time I call to reach Ms. Soul, it’s Mr. Ego who picks up the phone. He’s a control freak, a self-absorbed, noisy character that wants to be in charge of everything. He makes sure that Ms. Soul never answers the phone, and plays tricks so I won’t recognize him. He even changes his voice and his attitude to make me believe it is my soul talking. But when I learn the right tools to recognize him, I get taken in by his tricks less and less.

The Soul does not speak. She is a voiceless character that imposes her will smoothly by setting up life situations. She is more of a doer than a talker. When she manifests her will, she usually makes me do things that may not make any sense at first glance — from an egotistic standpoint. Often it sounds illogical and scary, but it is so strong that I feel compelled to do it. An inner state of ‘knowing’ or ‘feeling right’ is created. I’d like to quote Mother who said, “If you ask yourself whether it’s the soul talking, then you know it’s not.” This may clarify, if in doubt!

Ego Wants

Ego always wants something or doesn’t want something. He is the one who makes me say: “I want more money“, “I don’t want to be sick“, “I don’t want to live alone, I want to find a companion“, “I need to be recognized”, and on and on. By wanting or needing things, the ego is always attached to a result that is tangible.

On the other hand, the soul does not want anything. She has no expectations and she is not attached to any outcome. The soul is only interested in the experience, the process. All she is interested in is the emancipation of my being, and in the evolution of my consciousness towards who I really am. Any life situation I may encounter is regarded as beneficial for that purpose; indeed, for the soul, there are no positive or negative life experiences — they are all working for the idessic/supramental realization.

… And Fast

Ego wants fast. So each time I feel rushed to do something or to make a decision, I know it’s my ego’s impulse. Indeed, ego lives in a mortal reality where he believes that his time is limited. He is the one who wants me to do as many things as possible in a short period of time. He is the one who is afraid of missing an opportunity, and who does not want to waste time in things that do not fulfill his immediate needs.

Whereas the soul lives in the infinite present moment and is immortal. So each time I feel rushed to do or decide something, I must stop right away and give myself time to think it over. Concretely, I must shut down my ego’s big mouth which obstructs my clarity and prevents me from perceiving my soul’s inclination. Only when my ego is silenced and put on the back seat of the car can my soul take the wheel, in other words, take the governance of my life, and lead me in the direction that will further her fusion with my body.

Not giving way to the ego and surrendering to the soul is essential for the realization of the idessic/supramental being. Here is a quote from Mother who explains the process:

“Those who wish to help the Light of Truth to prevail over the forces of darkness and falsehood, can do so by carefully observing the initiating impulses of their movements and actions, and discerning between those that come from the Truth and those that come from the falsehood, in order to obey the first and to refuse or reject the others.

This power of discernment is one of the first effects of the Advent of the Truth’s Light in the earth’s atmosphere…” (Mother’s Agenda, 1965)

Now that you have a simple tool, you can start practicing your discernment in order to transfer the power of governance from ego (falsehood) to soul (truth-reality). The less I let my ego lead my life, the more my soul takes over. And the more we practice, the faster we’ll get out of this appalling fear-based animal humanity that creates hell on earth!

Full Moon Phase: fulfillment, illumination, realization, shadow, experience

Moon: Leo/Virgo

Ruling Mahavidya: Kali

Kali dismisses class with homework: see symbolism.

It's a strange state in which we find ourselves as energetic forces transport us over this point in space-time, transforming us on all levels. On one level, our physical bodies are undergoing transformation; on another level our emotional bodies are similarly changing. We navigate with our minds, diligent to follow the guidance to see symbolism.

Over the weekend, the power of symbolism is amplified. Many things can be symbolic. In this context we are on the lookout for things that repeat or are out of the ordinary. It means we must be super observant. Sometimes we have to step back to see the pattern. The universe is speaking to us this weekend, delivering information to aid us in the transformation process.

It bears repeating that the core function of this month's transformation is to heal. The "rainbow bridge" we are traversing (or, more accurately is traversing us) is courtesy of the Moon's nodes in aspect to the Chiron Point. The Moon's nodes (called the North and South Nodes) point us in the direction of destiny through mastery over our past. To answer the call of destiny, which stirs in our hearts through desires, our past must be the launching pad.

To help, we become students of nature, where aspects of our lives are revealed. Class with Kali isn't really dismissed. It just changes venues and form. We move from listening to her lecture to engaging in a wider instruction - living instruction - where we encounter teachers and lessons in many ways. Images, symbols, and patterns become our teachers - especially things that repeat, things we don't usually encounter, and things that catch our eye. The natural world offers great wisdom.

It seems like we are always undergoing transformation and letting go of the past. I could talk for quite a while about how this has been happening pretty much since Pluto made the conjunction with the Galactic Center in 2006. It does all have a purpose and the culmination comes this March and April. So it's important that we do this revision and clearing work now. I mean, for real.

This weekend, open up and allow space for situations to revise and rectify while you are vigilent to symbolism.

Default The Consciousness Blues

The Consciousness Blues

Contributor – Just Wondering

http://www.zengardner.com/consciousness-blues/

Quote:

With every day that passes, it seems as though we as a society are becoming more and more aware of what is “really” going on in the world. What I mean by, “really,” is the story behind the story when we choose to read between the lines of how current events in our society are reported on, or the lack there of.

Sure, we have the mainstream media networks broadcasting “news” stories and articles manufactured for our consumption. Most are polished with a sheen of fear and designed to make us feel more “intelligent,” (as if intelligence has made much of a difference in our society). Some influence us to anger and frustration, while others are tailored to distract us from the issues that truly matter, i.e. pollution, GMO foods, fracking, the quality of our drinking water, etc.

Let’s face it, we are relentlessly bombarded with information in the form of “news,” advertisements, politics, sports, drama, entertainment of all expressions and even our life itself. Though many of these things may “seem” to us as being critical to our existence, they really aren’t as vital as our health, well-being, relations, families, contributions to our communities and fulfilling on our true purpose. They are just presented to us in a way that we perceive them as worthy of our attention and our lives.

Thus, the distraction is born.

Yet, for all whom choose to be daring, adventurous, bold, radical, curious and inquisitive pioneers of diversity, there is the story behind the story, the “real” reality which may only be obtained with an expression of our conscious will. I imagine it may happen differently for everyone, though the constant in the expansive birthing of our awareness is that it does indeed “happen,” and when it does, our experience of life and of ourselves is massively transformed.

When we choose to open our minds, our perspectives, our awareness, and most importantly our eyes and our ears, we begin to move beyond the inner resistance of our denial, our cognitive dissonance, our heredity and our self-righteousness. Something amazing and miraculous happens. It is as though we become addicted to consciousness. We develop a hunger for truth, clarity, knowledge, understanding and wisdom. We experience an explosive burst of energy that awakens and enlightens us all the way to the cellular level of our being and beyond. It is this energy that not only presents evidence to the credibility of the truth, yet, it also connects us with something much greater than ourselves and the lives which we live. It connects us with all that is.

At first the experience is much like a new romance, exciting, scary, awkward, dreamy and passionate. Then, as it settles into the very core and fabric of our being, we begin to become present to how twisted, sadistic, maniacal, insidious, insensitive, cruel, brutal and unforgiving human beings can be, especially when witnessed with conscious eyes. If we are fortunate enough to make it beyond our initial shock, we may discover and reveal how intricate, complicated, complex, convoluted and multi-tiered the issues and problems in our society really are. We may even begin to see that most of the problems in the world are manufactured and maintained for the purpose of profit for the benefit of the few at the cost of the unconscious many.

We begin to immerse ourselves with articles, You Tube videos, Facebook Posts and Updates, Tweets, Websites, Online Talks, Speeches and Forums, books, random “truth” conversations with others on a similar path, etc. Then we become present on a whole new level to the issues; GMO foods, Fracking, Flouride, Chlorine and other chemicals in our tap water, chemtrails, vaccinations that cause the very illnesses they are supposed to protect us from, Fukishima, oil spills, the rapid destruction of the rainforests, the corruption of governments, the financial manipulation of the market place by corporations and banking institutions whom go unpunished, senseless wars claiming the lives of our youth…

Stop.
Breathe
Breathe again.
Breathe until these apparent burdens of truth and consciousness pass through you and there is only silence.
Breathe until all there is is your breath.

Breathing is the most powerful way of transforming our fear, worry, outrage, concern, frustration and anger into a proactive and productive form of practice to shift our problems into solutions. As a matter of fact, breathing is the first step in this process. It is fitting that this is the first step of life!

There is a challenging space we can find ourselves in in the midst of the hurricane that is “reality” when viewed with awareness, it is the “Consciousness Blues.” The frustration, hopelessness, helplessness and despair of being present to the issues of what is “really” going on in the world, yet not knowing what to “do” about it.

We may even adopt perspectives of, “I am only one person, what can I do about all of this?” “What difference can I make?” “It’s not my responsibility.” “It’s not my problem.” “These things will never change.”

This isn’t a bad place to be in, though it may seem and feel like it. As a matter of fact, congratulations, you have broken the spell of “reality.”

“Knowing” about the specifics of the issues in our society is another step, yet will never bring the solutions.

In my opinion, we, as human beings, have a duty, a birthright to “share” what information and experiences we may have on our path of expanding our consciousness, without ego, without upset, without anger and without attachment to how the information we share will be received by those whom are bold enough to listen.

It has been said before, “wherever our attention goes, energy flows,” and where our energy flows, perpetuates the existence of whatever issues, challenges, dramas and problems upon which we may become impassioned.

It is the quality of the energy that we are putting into society that is vital. When we are frustrated, depressed, upset, hopeless and even sarcastically angry, though it seems justified, it is only more fuel on the fire. This only contributes more to the problems than their solutions.

We have to ask ourselves the question, “are we contributing to the problems in our lives or the solutions?”

The importance of our detachment from the negative reactions to the often times unbelievable issues and problems our society currently perpetuates is rivaled by little of what we may encounter in our daily lives.

When we disconnect from our reactions, we are able to move beyond the melee and chaos of our contemporary world and begin to stem the tides of the growing collusion that pollutes our environments.

Perhaps one of the most difficult practices to successfully perform in transforming problems into solutions is in who we are “being.” This is also the most important exercise in this process. We can have the greatest of intentions and purposes in life, yet if we are being egotistical, arrogant, angry, resentful or frustrated, the transformations we desire to see will never happen. It is only when we are able to temper our internal upsets, disappointments, outrage and self-righteousness about society’s issues will we be able to transcend the challenges we experience within which undoubtedly show up everywhere in our lives.

No matter how excruciating it can be, and it is!

When we come from a space of silence, calm, presentness, peace, positivity, kindness, compassion, acceptance and love, we will always succeed in transforming anything in our lives.

After all, we will never transform the world around us, only the world within us.

- Will

Teal Scott - Disappointment (How to Get Over Disappointment)

Quote:
Ask Teal Website - http://www.askteal.com

A great many of us on this earth expect disappointment in our lives. We live painful lives of constriction. And the restriction we suffer from is the restriction of joy. We do not let ourselves get our hopes up. In fact, we do not let ourselves feel positive emotion because feeling positive emotion makes us feel vulnerable to hurt.

Most of us who expect disappointment, experience ourselves as a disappointment. We experience ourselves this way because growing up, we felt as if we were a disappointment to our parents or teachers or some other authority figure. We are hyper critical of ourselves. Nothing we ever do is good enough to mean that we have worth and value.

The basic fear that lies beneath the surface of those who expect disappointment is the fear that powerlessness is the truth of our existence. This powerlessness stems from the belief that you do not create your own reality. The only people who fear disappointment are those who think that they do not ultimately have control over their lives.
In this episode, TEAL explains how to overcome the expectation of disappointment and then explains what to do when we experience an actual disappointment.

Default Gaia’s Butterflies

Gaia’s Butterflies

January 18, 2014

Julie Henderson, Contributor
Waking Times

http://www.wakingtimes.com/2014/01/1...s-butterflies/

Quote:

The cell precisely divides itself and maintains a divine balance with every reproduction thereafter. A few moments pass, and suddenly it takes on a fractal pattern with a sacred geometry that intimately creates, expands, and unites all life.

We are all the sum of this poetic, synchronized equation and still we insist on identifying with synthetic differences that keep us separate: man vs. nature; male vs. female; love vs. hate; race vs. race; class vs. class; creed vs. creed. But beyond these illusive divisions there is a tapestry where you and I are fibers of the same thread.

For the mad few who resolve to solve Gaia’s riddle, she reveals how music and rhythm and magic all dance the wanting soul into a dimension beyond superficial dualities right into the infinitude of oneness. These brave hearts discover that the key to unlocking peace is to revere the feminine yin principle of all life–yours, mine, the trees, the ocean, the butterflies…

The senseless, unbridled, and violent masculine aggression that has made a spectacle of raping, ravaging, and ruining her grace has no ticket to eternity. Please, return her shoes. Return her garments. Return her innocence. It is not too late to resurrect her, no matter what those who justify their unconscionable behavior may tell you.

The butterfly arrives at her destination despite her disadvantaged design and against all manner of insurmountable odds. It is only when her yin and yang wings agree to make the journey together that she succeeds. You are the wings. You are the riddle. You are the answer.

The Alchemy of Time: Understanding the Great Year & the Cycles of Existence

January 18, 2014

Jay Weidner, New Dawn

Quote:

The age of iron has no other seal than that of Death. Its hieroglyph is the skeleton, bearing the attributes of Saturn: the empty hourglass, symbol of time run out…
Fulcanelli

The inspiration for this article comes from my almost nineteen years of research into the Great Cross of Hendaye and the French alchemist Fulcanelli. The unknown, anonymous, alchemist Fulcanelli in his masterpiece The Mysteries of the Cathedrals first brought the cross at Hendaye, France to the world’s attention.

While the details of this research can be found in other articles written by myself and in the two books I co-authored,1 it can be stated that the Great Cross at Hendaye appears to be describing not only the end of the great four ages of the Hindu Yuga system but also the four ages of alchemical chronological time keeping. According to the cross at Hendaye, the Iron Age, or the Kali Yuga, will be coming to an end with the galactic alignment on the winter solstice of December 21st, 2012.

According to the mythology of the Yuga system, there are four ages of life and time on our planet. It is important to remember there are many cycles within cycles in the Hindu Yuga system so the years mentioned next may have to do with a larger cycle than the one addressed in this article. Perhaps the huge number of years referred to below is the cycle of the solar system as it circles another star, or perhaps it is a portion of the great cycle of one revolution around the galactic centre.

The first age is the Satya Yuga or the Golden Age, according to Fulcanelli. The Hindu texts tell us that this age lasts 1,728,000 years. This is an age of extreme splendour when the beings on our planet appear to live much longer than they do now. In this age there are no wars, famines, strife or evil.

The second age is called the Treta Yuga, or the Silver Age. As in the second law of thermodynamics, or entropy, things begin to slip in this age and the beings on Earth begin to deteriorate. This slippage, at least during this second age, is the beginning of corruption, and evil is introduced into the planetary sphere. This age lasts 1,296,000 years according to the Vedic texts of India.

The third age of this cycle is called the Dvapara Age, or the Bronze Age. This is the beginning of the ‘fall’ of humanity. In this age corruption comes on more fully, evil begins to spread, and things start to fall into disharmony. This age lasts 864,000 years.

The last age is called the Kali Yuga, or the Iron Age. This age is the age we are in right now. Evil and corruption become the driving force as greed, wars, famine and disease spread across the planet like a tidal wave of death and destruction. This age lasts, according to the Hindu texts for 432,000 years.2

What is important to understand while discussing these huge numbers found in the Hindu texts is they are describing the four ages within a context of understanding that each successive age is shorter than the previous age. The Satya Yuga, or the Golden Age, is one quarter longer than the Treta Yuga, or the Silver Age. The Treta Yuga is one quarter longer than the Dvapara Yuga, or the Bronze Age. Understanding these differences in the lengths of the ages becomes important to the following discussion.

According to Fulcanelli and the cross at Hendaye, the alchemical Four Ages comprise the four quadrants of a 25,920 year-long cycle called the precession of the equinoxes. Essentially, the precession of the equinoxes can be explained by the fact that our Earth has a wobble. Like a top spinning on the floor, as it begins to lose momentum this wobble of the Earth takes nearly 26,000 years to unfold. The strange engraving of the four ‘A’s’ (see Figure 5) on the cross of Hendaye is a “hieroglyph of the universe”, according to Fulcanelli. It is “comprised of the conventional signs of heaven and earth, the spiritual and the temporal, the macrocosm and the microcosm, in which major emblems of the redemption (cross) and the world (circle) are found in association.”

The Precession of the Equinoxes

What Fulcanelli appears to be saying here is that the precession of the equinoxes is to be divided into four distinct ages of 6,480 years each (4 divided into 25,920) or, to round off the figures to approximately 6,500 years each. This is also interesting because the zodiacal cycle, which lasts 25,920 years, has four fixed signs. These are the signs of Aquarius, Taurus, Leo and Scorpio. These four signs are separated by 6,500 years each. Also in the Book of Ezekiel and in the Book of Revelation we are told of the angel with four faces. This angel has the face of a Lion (Leo), a Bull (Taurus), a Man (the angel) and an Eagle (in older times Scorpio was represented by an eagle instead of a scorpion). Apparently, according to Fulcanelli, both of these books in the Bible are warnings and messages about the four quadrants of the precession of the equinoxes and appear to be telling us that there is some kind of great change whenever we arrive at one of these four signs.

Of course it is well known that we are currently entering the Age of Aquarius. The Cross at Hendaye and Fulcanelli are telling us there are tremendous changes to be found here on Earth when we enter into one of the four fixed signs. Apparently these changes can be cataclysmic.

Obviously this 6,500 year long dating of the four alchemical ages disagrees with the Hindu Yuga system, which insists that each Yuga is of varying time lengths. It is in trying to iron out the dissimilarities in these two time periods that the hyperdimensional aspects of time can be best revealed.

I haven't visited this thread in more than a year lol. It seems like I was misled during that time and back to the point where I should be.

It's good to see that you're still doing your thing even though this thread seems lonely.

Hi there buddy. Yeah mainly just post various articles and videos on the thread these days that people might find interesting to help them with their journeys as the awakening continues and accelerates etc.

Thread gets an average of around 1000 views per day which is pretty awesome and is the main reason why i still continue doing it as people obviously still find it useful even if they aren't posting. I am all about service to others.
