Another thread here.

In the video I noticed a few things. Like you say, the use of red. Also a lot of red/blue together. I think someone mentioned this was twin symbolism.

I thought the hoodie was a cat but it looks like a donkey or something. The scene with the hoodie is under a triangle of light.

Hand symbol at 2.42. I'm not great at symbolism though, so that's all I got.

Her voice reminds me of Kesha's. It sounds so fake and unnatural.

Yes, it's really annoying. I actually watched a bit of the X Factor when she was on it and she annoyed me immensely. She came across as really false.

At the same time, I feel a bit sorry for her. She looks really nervous in the video, not comfortable with it at all.

Her hand used to annoy me as well. It always seemed to have a mind of it's own on the X Factor. I remember seeing a newspaper headline about her saying that she was "a claw unto herself" haha

It even has it's own facebook page!

Aaaargh the claw! Yes. Reminds me of toy story when all those aliens are in the machine and the claw thing comes down.

haha.

ningnongman, I know what you mean. Here's some of her auditions. She was very adamant that she wouldn't go "pop princess", she said it wasn't her thing, so I was expecting her to come out with something acoustic maybe, but nope.

well lets keep an eye on this young one. see what develops

something we need to ask the occult media guy is how they get these people who become pop stars in later life programmed.
i imagine its easy for the disney kids who are young, but what about vickers and similar late bloomers like leona lewis. how do they get them brain washed and programmed?????

To be honest I'm not really well educated about that. I know the symbolism and loosely what it stands for but I don't think I'd actually be able to look into how they do it personally. I know a lot of people here are very clued up though, maybe reading through the stepford thread would give you a bit of an idea.

I would say though, with people who go on The X Factor and the like are to a degree already programmed. They want the fame, they crave it. They've grown up with their idols so it's all very much there already. It's cool to wear designer clothes, to do all seeing eye symbolism, to be sexy and make your own video.

All it takes is a designer to say "Hey, wear this" "Pose" *snap, snap, snap* etc. Place a few things here and there. Also, they'll very likely do what the record company tells them...wouldn't want to be a one hit wonder loser now would we?

I'd say it's filtered down enough now to be second nature.

The lyrics to her song are worth looking into:

Quote:
Once - Diana Vickers

Here we are, a careful distance
Here’s my heart, what’s left of it
In this town, I used to listen
Once, Once, Yeah

I had hope, blind faith
I had as much as you can take

I’m only gonna let you kill me once
I’m only gonna let you kill me then some
I’m only gonna let you kill me
Once, Once, Once, yeah

Once, Once, Once, yeah

Once, Once, Once, yeah

Once, Once…

Ashes burn the morning after
Only know I’m here to stay
I was sold,
I let you see me
That was dumb, but that’s OK
Tripping down to your place
What is love anyway

I’m only gonna let you kill me once

I’m only gonna let you kill me then some

I’m only gonna let you kill me
Once, Once, Once, yeah
Once, Once, Once, yeah
Once, Once, Once, yeah
I’m only gonna let you kill me

Who or whatever you do
Don’t let anyone love you
Touch them where it hurts
And then you’ll leave

I’m only gonna let you kill me once

I’m only gonna let you kill me then some

I’m only gonna let you kill me
Once, Once, Once, yeah
Once, Once, Once, yeah
Once, Once, Once, yeah

I’m only gonna let you kill me
Once, Once, Once, yeah
Once, Once, Once, yeah
Once, Once, Once, yeah
Once, Once, Once, yeah

Referencing demonic possession? Letting her 'die' so another entity can occupy the space left by her soul?

Also puts me in mind of the Christian idea of the Second Death. Otherwise what could it mean? Don't we only die once anyway? More to this one than meets the eye, I think.
