Arrow Quit Porn/Masturbation -> Become Superhuman

Yep

I'm sure the majority of you know how bad porn and masturbation is for you, but I assume there's a few stragglers here who haven't heard of it yet.

PMO (Porn, Masturbation, Orgasm) can cause depression, anxiety, low energy, no motivation, etc etc.

To become super human, you have to go 100% celibate for several months. After that, you can begin having natural sex again with a partner, but DO NOT go back to porn and masturbation.

Do research on the following two websites, and change your life for the better..

http://yourbrainonporn.com/

http://www.reddit.com/r/NoFap

Best of luck

99% of nature uses its semen for reproduction, in case of human that would mean several days a month, with a woman in heat.
maybe the more you abstain the higher you climb.

Interesting point.

Although a woman is technically 'in heat' 3 out of 4 weeks a month?

I've decided to no fap for 60 days... please help my soul

Ive lasted 3 weeks once and sex after that was amazing and control as well.

Having an orgasm is very healthy. I don't know where people come off saying that it's somehow "bad". Masturbation is healthy, natural behavior, too.

Those attitudes seem to stem from feelings of shame about the body and sex.

Isn't a woman "in heat" when she is ovulating??? That is only a small window each month -- maybe up to 5 days or so...

Maybe it is the use of porn that is damaging/desensitizing?

Though a lot of the ancient teaching re: cultivating energy (ie, tantra, etc) promote the abstaining of orgasm for men. Not sure it is the same for women, as we don't "lose" our "vital essence" in the same way...

I don't think porn itself is damaging. There's good porn and erotica out there, and there's nothing wrong with watching it or reading it from time to time.

Aside from it being psychologically and emotionally healthy to masturbate, it's also physically healthy for men to masturbate since they have a higher chance of developing prostate cancer if they don't ejaculate on a somewhat regular basis. Catholic priests, for example, have a higher rate of prostate cancer as compared to the rest of the population. I always thought the idea of semen retention was nonsense, anyway. New semen is made by the body all the time, same for blood and all other bodily fluids.

Am at day 45 of no fap (PMO). No superhuman feeling or abilities. On contrary, have anxiety spikes greater than ever b4. I decided to go for 100 days. Maybe it's detoxing process...I'll report back.

And what exactly are you "detoxing" from? Nothing's coming out of you, you know...

Don't be an ass. You know exactly what I mean. "Detox" as an reaction of your body to something new, something it isn't used to be.

I'm not being an "ass". When people say "detox", they're usually talking about a harmful substance, usually drugs, leaving their body and their body returning to its normal biology, or do you not know what the word means?

Humans don't have 'heat' or a season, though no doubt summer months inflame the passions.

A female woman is actually only fertile for about 3 days a month, usually mid-way in the menstrual cycle.

I recall reading that by volume, much of a man's ejaculate comes from the cowpers gland, then the prostate, and of course sperm from the testicles..

Here's an interesting fact for you. Despite what family planning clinics and sex education lessons at school tell you, there is no sperm in precum. The only risk of sperm in precum is if you haven't voided (urinated) after a recent ejaculation i.e. you are about to do it for a second time and haven't been for a wee wee since the first time.

In other words, pulling out before cumming can be used as contraceptive. In fact, since a woman is only fertile for about 3 days per month, and a mans sperm can only last 1 or 2 days, withdrawal can be almost as effective as using a condom. Especially if the woman's ovulation can be pin pointed..

But hey.. young men lack control and they do like men and women to take their pills and use the rubbers!

Agreed 100%.

I used the pull out method for years with no problems.

"In two small studies there is no sperm in the fluid," she said. "If the guy has had sex in the last couple of hours is the only way it gets in pre-cum. But if you go to the bathroom, it flushes the sperm out."

You'll laugh at this. We had a health/acting group come to a school I was working at. Some charity or other.. their thing was to talk about teenage pregnancy etc. They made a point of drilling into the kids that there was sperm in precum, therfore sex without a condom is risky.

I couldn't help myself, I stuck my hand up and pointed out that recent studies indicate blah blah no sperm in precum.. though I qualified this with of course young men should use a condom because young men especially lack control.

Man was I hauled over the coals..

I just don't like half truths or myths peddled, especially to children... I like truth, facts..

I keep my mouth shut these days, but back then I was braver.

Cause number one for premature ejaculation is masturbation
and frequent ejaculation. If you don't want to look
like a jerk stop jerking!

The importance of sperm

-----

Despite having said that, I RECOMMEND watching porn in your older age
it helps your prostate. Looking at these young and sexy women
keeps your life juices flowing. You'll need that.

The moment you stop being sexually excited - you're dead and useless.

How would jerking off be the number one cause of premature ejaculation? If you masturbate, you can practice orgasm control.

When you start jerking, especially in younger age,
you're rushing it as you're in danger of getting caught.
Plus you see it as one way street,
you learn how to please yourself only.

What does that situation happening to some young people have to do with what I said? Nothing. People of all ages and in all living situations masturbate, whether they're doing it quick just to get off or if they're taking their time with it.

What's wrong with pleasuring yourself and learning what you like? If you don't explore your body, you'll never know what you like. It's nice if you have a partner to help you, but it's better to get to know your body on your own and to gain experience.

There's nothing wrong with doing it just because it makes you feel good, either. It's bullshit that it makes you more depressed. In fact, it can help to alleviate feelings of depression. Penises were made to squirt, not to hold it in for very long periods of time, or whole lifetimes!

Again, this seems to all go back to feelings of shame over the body and sexuality.
