What is especially interesting about the take on grace that the video presents is that the speaker feels that we are always surrounded by grace at every moment. What is up to us is simply opening ourselves to that grace by removing the brick wall of ego that currently blocks us from grace. It's a unique perspective that resolves the whole grace vs. works controversy very reasonably.

As usual, thank you.

Still....why am I apprehensive about this man's particular delivery?

I don't feel the man lies, his message rings with me yet, .....evidently there is...how do I say?....predispositions still in my brain.

As Steve Harvey says, "Don't freak, He's still working on me".

Thanks for your nice comment, Coco. Actually, your comment about his delivery being very different is something I've heard a lot. I've heard many of his talks in person, and this is what I can say about that.

In everything he says, he very powerfully challenges his audience to not merely think about his words intellectually, but to take immediate spiritual action. The urgency and sincerity with which he speaks I think sometimes startles people on some level. Some love it, some fear it, but everyone is impacted by it.

This isn't shown in the videos, but he actually meditates very deeply on God for some time immediately before he actually speaks. (The meditation section is usually edited out of the videos for time purposes.) He never prepares his talks, and never uses notes or a teleprompter. What he says comes from a very rare and powerful transcendent source. You feel it 1000 times more powerfully in person than in the videos. It's a unique experience, and he's a unique person - to say the least!

Thank you, dear Dharmanation. I am, as all are a wok in progress. And I have lurked your forum, to be honest.

Maybe it's good that I am at a....strange place, for that means I AM considering the lessons brought forth.

Considering at this point, I must continue to education myself;
Until then, I remain cautious, for some reason I cannot, truly explain.

Apologies, with great respect.

P.S. I somehow feel that my mind has yet to open up to.......'something', I know not what.

May I be guided and respective to guidance.

This is a similar video to the one originally posted in which Sri Acharyaji directly addresses the topic of understanding the nature of the Divine as revealed in the ancient Vedic literature, and what is required of us in order to know that Divine intimately. This video is called:

"Finding the Highest Reality"

Another good talk on how to know God from the Vedic perspective.

Friend, I've learned about, and thus have easily passed that 'thing' that was causing a 'speed bump' in my fostering a further acceptance of this man.

His message now holds an even more....*searching for the word*....'technicolor' quality.

Namaste, Coco. Thanks for sharing this. It's amazing how many speed bumps we experience on the spiritual path. I think that's just natural as we continue to make progress, and to systematically purify ourselves.

Just as important as the conduit of the message is the message itself. I know Acharyaji sees himself merely as a conduit, a window to spiritual reality. I've even been present when he would sometimes point to himself and say "There is no one here". Meaning that a teacher is simply serving the job of a postman. As long at the postman faithfully delivers the mail, he's doing his job. The important thing is that people get the mail!

I hope you and everyone else have enjoyed the other videos I've put on here. Aum Shanti!
