Thanks ST i really like that you like it. I know you have good taste

We are rehearsing those songs, soon we can play a live show...
I met an awesome drummer, and my old friend is playing the bass.
It sounds even better now...
We made a new recording a while ago, but have to wait for the final mixing

I have probably posted this a few years ago. But here it is again... Best metal of Sweden:

Entombed - Morning Star (Full album)

Lyrics are quite simple at times: " KILL KILL DIE DIE !!! "

Another little masterpiece by Mol Triffid, this one from the perspective of a peeper creeper. The music rules as usual under the the fearless leadership of Kimo Ball's guitar but the real prize is in deciphering Kurt Serbus' amazing lyrics.

This album always avoided me. But today I listened to it, it has a really good production, compared to the old stuff.
I really like the guitar sound on this - Not to mention the "classic" riffs : I can live with the more melodic style, but some of those choruses are really to much "pop" for me

More classic shit from Cluasland - tuneful and rockin' NWOBHM feel. Face Of A Clown is pleasingly blatant Randy Rhoadsism. Rocking The Night Away stands out in the songwriting department. Light Of A Torch seethes with apocalyptic fury. Ultra-competent musicianship all around, strong songs and dynamic production = killer classic metal LP. The 'Witch' theory holds true! One look at that cover art and you know the shit is authentic...

Their debut album was recorded by Henrik Lund, the same engineer of Mercyful Fate's "Melissa" and "Don't Break The Oath", at Easy Sound Recordings, Copenhagen.

Witch Cross - Fit For Fight LP

00:00 - Nightflight To Tokyo
04:21 - Face Of A Clown
09:40 - Rocking The Night Away
14:49 - Killer Dogs
19:51 - Fight The Fire
25:12 - Axe Dance
28:32 - Light Of A Torch
34:15 - Alien Savage

Nights of blood and sweat behind
Dreams of stardom filled our minds
Friends that did not stand the fight
Hope they'll see us here tonight
The roar in your ears goes straight to your head
Filling your body with pleasure
You Start clapping your hands
You start singing along and we'll be
Rockin' the night awaaay
Rockiiiiiinnnn...

Hearts that broke along the way
Just the price we had to pay
Love did never strike us blind
Nights like this were in our minds
The roar in your ears goes straight to your head
Filling your body with pleasure
You Start clapping your hands
You start singing along and we'll be
Rockin' the night awaaay
Rockiiiiiinnnn... Rockin!

You have justified the fight
Now we're standing in the light
Proves our aim was never wrong
See the music made us strong
The roar in your ears goes straight to your head
Filling your body with pleasure
You Start clapping your hands
You start singing along and we'll be
Rockin' the night awaaay
Rockiiiiiinnnn...

I miss bands that have fun playing their music like Witch Cross clearly did. Cracked up every time those flash pots went off hahaha! I would have been all over this in '84 if I had ever heard it.

All metal...no Blunt (Who?... Oh James Blunt, forgotten about him!)..a thread started by onourwayto2012. My god, 2012 already seems a long time ago. How time has flown since this thread began.

Never been into metal much, but I like this fella.

I never knew who it was. Don't think James Blunt ever "broke" over here.

That's an amazing piece there. Devin Townsend has a unique vision. Ever listen to music by Glenn Branca? It's more of a form of modern classical music I think (albeit with specially tuned electric instruments) but it is heavy in a way. Paige Hamilton of Helmet was in the Glenn Branca Ensemble at one time and it really shows in Helmet's music so there is a heavy if atonal legacy there.

Helmet - Shirley MacLaine

Yeah, these were my heroes when I was like twelve. Believe me I played it backwards. Detroit's Heavy Metal Horror Show! Rick Craig lets loose on the six string like George Lynch's evil twin.

Talking about Halloween Detroit's Heavy Metal Horror Show??? You guys knew about them? Or are you thinking Helloween? Halloween was kind of a local band. I've seen a lot of metalheads from around the world give props on their vids so it wouldn't be that surprising. Haha, did we have this conversation before?

Rick Craig's old bandmates trolling him "shreds video" (lol have you seen those) style.
