Default Politics 1974

In 1974, the Conservative Party's party political broadcasts dropped the pretence of being bipartisan and adopted what is now known as the "talking heads" format. Effectively this consisted of reasonably short bursts of either members of the public or senior Tory politicians talking about the policies of the party or complaining about Labour policies. Although this format had been used before in the 1966 campaigns, there was a vigour and professionalism this time that had not been felt before. Not wanting to come up short for a second time running, Labour's campaign broadcasts were also of the talking head format, although it seems they could not resist ending four of their five programs with a speech from one of the Shadow Cabinet. Their great innovation, however, was to target specific groups of voters with each broadcast, young people and female voters each had a programme that addressed their needs specifically. The Liberal Party by now had been sidelined in parliament, but had hopes of making a comeback. Their broadcasts in 1974 consisted not of politics as much as celebrity endorsement with the likes of Alec Guinness and Honor Blackman coming out in their support. These methods of presentation were much the same in the second election of 1974, held in October, and it is generally thought that the Labour Party were more professional. Therefore it is perhaps unsurprising that it was the Labour leader Harold Wilson who became Prime Minister.

Been away for a while due to personal reasons. Been reading as often as I can as this thread is one of the only places where it is possible to read any REAL news of what is going on in the world. Like hangthedj I am disappointed that it is only the chauffeurs and a few old has-Beens getting arrested while all the usual suspects in power stay well protected. Thanks to everyone who is keeping this thread alive and it's great to see ttw4 back. Sending you all love and strength. We have to keep going. Stay strong

These personal disagreements need to be taken out of this thread.

I'm going to delete all related posts, do not start again in this thread.

Just started reading and this is what I saw

To all of you who have been rather quick to declare such nonce-sense - we are VERY much still here!

Too true we have to stay here if we want to achieve anything.

This thread hasn't even started where Jimmy Savile and the rest of the evil bastards are concerned .

Everthing is conected . For sure there are those who would lke to see this finish and some of them will be the ones we are trying to expose. Too much work gone in to this thread and a place for those to get back to when each bit of information eventually drips out , also to educate others.

Default The Stone Club and YouGovStone

People in certain circles seem to spend a lot of time in clubs - how do they find the time to do any actual work? Here is another example:

"A pirate, a pioneer, a punk princess.
She has 9,500 phone numbers on file and they are there because she's addicted to people. She is not rich, she is not famous, she was not born to power, but she is London's political hostess beyond compare. And tonight is her party night. Martin McSheen will be there. And the event? Merely the umpteenth annual Christmas do of a woman who has risen from a BBC copy typist in Southampton to be the last great political hostess in Britain, a unique networker and party-flinger. Carole Stone, now 55, is a phenomenon. There is no one remotely like her in the capital; and without her, the capital would be a duller place.

Her most prominent job was as producer for Any Questions? for most of the time from 1977 to 1989, having worked her way up through the BBC in Southampton and Bristol.

It was a big break, and she spent months reading Vacher's Parliamentary Companion each night before going to bed, until she could recognise every MP; even now, Stone is probably on friendly terms with more powerful people from all sides and professions than any single other person... encouraged by her partner Richard Lindley, a reporter for ITN's News at Ten special reports, began feeding her ``insatiable appetite'' for people by holding private lunches in a Covent Garden flat, entirely based on the only thing she could ``cook'' - tuna salad - at which a wide variety of people, such as John Birt, Tony Blair, Esther Rantzen and John Prescott, would meet. Now, she has moved on to evening ``salons''."

http://www.independent.co.uk/life-st...y-1286397.html

"She is an elected governor of the Tavistock & Portman NHS Foundation Trust; patron of two mental health charities, SANE and Triumph over Phobia; a patron of the Facial Surgery Research Foundation, Saving Faces; a partner in the debating forum Intelligence Squared; a Counsellor for One Young World and a member of the Appeals Committee for Combat Stress, The Enemy Within.

In April 2007 Carole became Managing Director of YouGovStone Ltd, a joint venture with the online market research agency YouGov plc, where she established the YouGovStone ThinkTank – a global panel of over 4,000 people who are leaders in their field – the ‘influentials’. YouGovStone carries out opinion research surveys both online and face-to-face. Carole sold the company to YouGov in June 2011 and is now its Executive Chairman.
Known for holding an annual get-together for her network of 'friends' in addition to a weekly 'salon' at her home in Covent Garden, in May 2009 Carole formed TheStoneClub – a private members club, part social, part business, where members meet to discuss social issues that concern us all - what she calls a ‘meeting of minds’."

Palace paedo’s 90,000 child abuse pics
But Home Office official is given a let-off by court

A SECURITY chief went on the run for three days with the plans for Buckingham Palace after cops found a huge stash of child abuse images at his home.
Disgraced Home Office official David Tracey yesterday admitted downloading 90,000 twisted pictures and films — hundreds of which were of the most depraved level.
But the 48-year-old was let off with a community order. A court heard Tracey used a file sharing website to view the mountain of images during a FIVE-YEAR period.
Cops raided the home he shares with his estranged wife in Billericay, Essex, last November while he was out.
Tracey, who worked closely with MI5 in the Office of Security and Counter-Terrorism, vanished for three days.
The dad of three was found in London and is said to have been carrying top secret documents on security plans at Buckingham Palace and Downing Street in a bag.
Prosecutor Paul Scothern told Basildon Crown Court in Essex: “He made a full admission to officers. The images were for his own sexual gratification.
“There was no indication he had ever been involved in any contact with the children.”
Thousands of pictures showed girls mainly aged nine to 11, said to be Eastern European.
The court heard Tracey, who tried to kill himself after being caught, began looking at the vile images “out of curiosity”.
Judge Ian Graham said he would normally have expected a jail term for what he called “unpleasant, perverted activity”.
He added: “These are real children being forced or persuaded to take part in such activities for the warped pleasure of people like you.”
Tracey was given a community order and a sexual offenders supervision order after admitting making and possessing indecent images of children.
He has also been sacked by the Home Office.

Default More corruption in High Places

I can confirm that the closed down Hereford and Worcester investigation of 1994 was re-ignited by Tom Watson’ PMQ last October.
That 1994 investigation began with the Customs/Police raid on Peter Righton’s home
Sadly 20 years on key figures like Righton have died and won’t face the justice their victims deserve
However it is some consolation that with determined policing and social media sites that we didn’t have then a lot of wrongs can now be put right
The public remain poorly informed by the mainstream media about the true extent of powerful people in child sexual abuse but I for one believe things are about to change
Although he didn’t get charged with the offences he committed at least the BBC documentary Secret Life of a Paedophile destroyed Righton’s reputation and left everyone in no doubt about what an evil individual he was – a small but important reward for what should have gone on to be a massive nationwide investigate in to the links and webs we uncovered

It all stems from the top - no wonder the Home Office 'loses' dossiers

Tate removes Graham Ovenden prints after indecency conviction

Would these be the same "art" donated by a well known non lover of paedophilic imagery.

About time too, those pictures should never have been there is the first place, although there's so many statues showing paedophillia especially the one outside the BBC, it should have been smashed up ages ago. It's a shame these articles about Ovenden don't mention McAlpine's collection, dirty old sod!

Default Savile - another Jersey link?

DAILY EXPRESS Tuesday March 9′ 1982

LORD MATTHEWS and Lady Matthews celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with 80 close friends at the Ritz Hotel, London, at the weekend.

In the picture with, them, cutting the cake are (left-to-right): Eric Parker, Reg Varney, Bill Cotton Jr, Jimmy Savile, Nlgel Broackes, Sir Douglas Bader, Lord George Brown, and Denis Compton.

The cake was surrounded by 40 different motifs showing Lord and Lady Matthews’ various Interests in business and leisure.

Matthews, who according to the Independent newspaper was a natural Thatcherite and claimed to be the biggest individual donor to the Conservative Party after he had realised that you could give money in the name of a company rather than as an individual, died at his retirement home on JERSEY in December 1995.

We mention Mcalperv for collecting Ovenden's paintings, so now that there has been a conviction shouldn't both Mcalperv and the Tate be complicit?

Lord Matthews (a different one from the judge) had some unlikely "close friends", and appears to have known Billy Butlin, who has been mentioned many times on here:

Default @jimmyjones

Hi,
Like you, I have read every post on this thread, gaining a knowledge of things I had NEVER considered or even thought possible.
I dont believe every post I read, although incredibly, an awful lot of them have sources that can easily be verified and checked.
It has been what I'd call 'eye opening'.

And the name ' jimmy savile' has done this.

I am no longer in the dark as to horrendous things that are happening, whether I personally can make a difference remains to be seen but because of his name, there are now millions of people 'aware', but obviously still not as much in the light as yourself.

Your life experiences are a world away from mine, I have valued all of your posts but at this moment, I am at a loss as to what it is that I cant see.

You talk of a structure of which savile was a front, a manequin.......and now I feel as if I am in the high street, still walking by the shops, unaware of what is going on inside the shop, just looking at the dummys they put on show for us to look at.

Maybe this is WAY bigger than what any of us can imagine, and maybe because this is a thread on the David Icke site, we dont want to sound a bit mad (sorry David ) .......but...... is this 'structure' so old and unseen because its 'off planet', another dimension?

I kind of feel ridiculous for saying that, but its in my head.

Jimmy, I hate the way we never seem to get it right, please, with the experience you have in your life, help to guide us x
