Taken as a prize off the Pacific coast of Mexico, it was made of enamelled gold and bore an African diamond and a ship with an ebony hull..

Willie MacRae (18 May 1923 – 7 April 1985) was a Scottish naval officer, lawyer, orator, politician and anti-nuclear campaigner..In the Second World War he served in the British Army and then the Royal Indian Navy..
