It should be a good one between Liverpool and Dortmund. I think it kicks off at 21:05 UK time so if I remember I might well watch it.

I hope the new Liverpool keeper does well if he plays, but I'm not sure he is even over there.

Still plenty of time for the transfer wheel to spin round as well.

Poga to Barca?
Zidane as Juventus manager?
Harry McGuire to Utd?
Richarlson to Everton?
Danny Ings or Divok Origi to Southampton?
Toby Alderwerald to Utd?
Eden Hazard to Real Madrid?
Courtois to Madrid?
Willian to Barca?
Higuan to Chelsea?

Is it gonna be a pre agreed 'performance' then?

It's just a chance for foreign fans who can't travel to Enkiland to see their clubs in the summer break.
Mildly competitive, nobody wants to risk injury, but a good performance by individual players can raise their sponsorship value which equates to more money

It gives the players a run out and exposure over in the USA. It gives the manager time to try new formations and experiment and for the new players to bed in with their team mates.

Depends on players available due to the World Cup I'd imagine.

Don't take these games too seriously. Look at the lineups and Klopp made eleven substitutions. The whole team!

I didn't watch all of it, but it's a friendly and it will show LFC what can go wrong before the season starts.

Next up for Liverpool is a game against the oil barons, Man City on Wednesday night, followed by a game against Utd on Sunday night.

Liverpool took the lead with a header by VVD and then were undone by Dortmund.

It's only a friendly and it doesn't mean much (which is always the answer when you lose a friendly!)

No. They're already in the US on a tour while they play this tournament and prepare for next season.

Man. City played last game against Dortmund in Chicago (Soldier Field Stadium) and on Thursday they'll play in East Rutherford (MetLife Stadium).

I didn't watch the game as I was working nights but Liverpool won 2-1.

Next up, Liverpool V Utd on Sunday!

Just waiting for all the transfers to happen and the league to kick off again.

Astonishing!

Both teams, S.L. Benfica and Juventus changed the whole team and all tonight.
