It's 'species' NOT 'specie' .
And yes we are a species shaped by genetics, environment, culture, language and geography amongst other factors.
Our species name is 'Homo Sapiens'
Hence whilst a Kalahari Bushman and a London Hedge Fund Banker both belong to the same 'Homo Sapiens' human species they have very little in common with each other.

I think both are true in some form. I've always said conditioning works it's way into genetics. I theorize every action we do affects our genetics. For example the gravity of an addiction affects genetics, or some pharma drugs probably affect genetics too. The mechanics of the mind likely affect genetics also IMO.

I believe there is a genetic system tied to what we think and consume, both what we are programmed with now, and what we are programming our genetics with by our actions.
