I don't know if this is part of an agenda, but this is totally f^cked.

NSPCC reveal shocking Merseyside figures of child sex offences

Jan 21 2009 by Mark Easton, Midweek Visiter=

ONE in four victims of child sex offences on Merseyside are 10 years old or younger, NSPCC research has revealed.

According to statistics provided by Merseyside Police, last year 462 victims of sex offences were aged under 18, with 142 of these being under 10.

The statistics show that, nationally, there were 20,758 under-18s recorded by police as victims of sex crimes, including rape, gross indecency and incest.

The NSPCC says many young children are unable to speak out

More than 20,000 sex offences against children were recorded last year - the equivalent of 50 every day, police figures obtained by the NSPCC suggest.

But the children's charity says the "grim" figures, covering England and Wales, show just a "snapshot" of suffering endured by under-18s.

Last bump. I guess nobody is in shock about these numbers hidden by the NSPCC.
