The H-Horseman's story + The legend of the Horseman begins in Sleepy Hollow, New York... The Horseman was a Hessian of unknown rank, one of many hired to suppress the American Revolution. During the war, the Hessian was one of 51 Hessians killed in a battle for Chatterton Hill, wherein his head was severed by an American cannonball. He was buried in a graveyard outside a church.. Thereafter he appears as a ghost, who presents to nightly travelers an actual danger (rather than the largely harmless fright produced by the majority of ghosts), presumably of decapitation.

German Legends of the Brothers Grimm (Deutsche Sagen) recount 2 German folk tales of a headless horseman being spotted with their own eyes..One is set near Dresden in eastern Germany. In this tale, a woman from Dresden goes out early one Sunday morning to gather acorns in a forest.. At a place called "Lost Waters", she hears a hunting horn.. When she hears it again, she turns around she sees a headless man in a long grey coat sitting on a grey horse..In another German tale, set in Braunschweig, a headless horseman called "the wild huntsman" blows a horn which warns hunters not to ride the next day, because they will meet with an accident..In some German versions of the headless horseman, he seeks out the perpetrators of capital crimes. In others, he has a pack of black hounds with tongues of fire..Dresden has a long history as the capital and royal residence for the Electors and Kings of Saxony, who for centuries furnished the city with cultural and artistic splendour. The city was known as the Jewel Box, because of its baroque and Rococo city center -

Hession (pronounced "hesh + in") is an old Connacht Irish surname. It is an Anglicized form of Gaelic Ó'hOisin. In Gaelic, it is pronounced "O + hush + een"..The name may be related with similar names Hishon in County Limerick and Hassan in County Londonderry.. It appears to originate in Co. Galway and in County Mayo. The Hession surname is predominantly found in these counties in the Census of Ireland, 1911. It means to descendant of Oisín a personal name meaning "little deer", and the name of the poet and warrior of the fianna in Irish mythology...Hishon is the anglicised form of Ó hOiseáin and finds an early reference amongst the Allies of the MacNamara family in Co Clare in the early 1300s..By this reckoning, it is the 12th largest city in England outside London. For Eurostat purposes, Wolverhampton is a NUTS 3 region (code UKG39). People from Wolverhampton are known as "Wulfrunians"...Alternatively, the city may have earned its original name from Wulfereēantūn = "Wulfhere's high or principal enclosure or farm" after the Mercian King, who tradition tells us established an abbey in 659, though no evidence of anabbey has been found

The United States military claims they use hollow-point bullets in some sniper rifles for their exceptional accuracy at long ranges..and claims that the hollow-point does not result in wounds significantly different from full metal jacket ammunition in practice.. Most hunters, however, have reported good expansion characteristics and quick, "humane kills"from hollow-point target bullets..Whereas hollow point and soft-tipped bullets are designed to expand upon impact, full metal jacket bullets are limited in their capacity to expand. This makes the bullet pierce through, in most cases leading to smaller wound size...A hollow-point bullet is an expanding bullet that has a pit or hollowed out shape in its tip, often intended to cause the bullet to expand upon entering a target in order to decrease penetration and disrupt more tissue as it travels through the target..When a hollow-point hunting bullet strikes a soft target, the pressure created in the pit forces the material (usually lead) around the inside edge to expand outwards, increasing the axial diameter of the projectile as it passes through. This process is commonly referred to as mushrooming, because the resulting shape, a widened, rounded nose on top of a cylindrical base, typically resembles a mushroom..Hollow-point bullets were used in the Virginia Tech massacre..The Jew's harp was called a 'trump' in Scots, also referred to as the Tongue of the Trump.. It is not known why the village had the apparent monopoly of the 'trumps' trade, however other examples exist, such as Stewarton for Scots bonnets, Colinsburgh for corkscrews, and Culross for girdles. The Jew’s Harp was one of the most popular and cheap musical instruments and records show that hundreds of Thousands were imported from at least the 15th century... It was thought that manufacturing of the instrument in the UK did not start until the Industrial Revolution, when it was centred around Dudley in the West Midlands..Dr Landsborough in 1837 wrote that although the hamlet was in ruins, the spirit of the pipers and harpers lived on in the fondness that the people of Stevenston had for Music...

Set in the immediate aftermath of the Cold War, it is a dramatisation of army life in the early to mid-1990s, when the British Army was undergoing significant change.. This is perhaps best demonstrated during the 3rd series, when a significant number of real regiments were forced into amalgamations with each other due to downsizing of the army.. In the world of Soldier Soldier, the King's Fusiliers are also forced to amalgamate with the Cumbrian Regiment becoming the King's Own Fusiliers..The Royal Green Jackets (RGJ) was an infantry regiment of the British Army,1 of 2 "large regiments" within the Light Division..It was formed in 1966 by the amalgamation of the 3 separate regiments of the Green Jackets Brigade..After the 1992 reorganisation, the unit was mostly based overseas in Dhekelia, Cyprus and Paderborn, Germany and in Northern Ireland, saw action in Bosnia and Kosovo during the Yugoslav Wars like to take trophies and souvenirs.. 2 police officers in India have been sacked for refusing to help search for 2 missing girls who were later found gang-raped and hanged, authorities say.

3 suspected attackers have been arrested, along with 2 policemen accused of dereliction of duty and criminal conspiracy.

The government has pledged to set up a fast-track court to prosecute the attack this week in Uttar Pradesh.

Alleged police inaction sparked outrage in the teenagers' village...

The father of 1 victim told the BBC he was ridiculed by police when he sought help in finding his missing daughter..

He said that when policemen found out he was from a lower caste, they "refused to look for my girl"..

Meanwhile, reports have emerged that two more gang rapes of minors occurred in the state this week....

The term rape originates in the Latin rapere, from raptus, "to snatch, to grab, to carry off".. The term has come to mean, since approximately the 14th century, "to seize and take away by force". In Roman law in the carrying off of a woman by force, with or without intercourse, constituted "raptus".. In Medieval English law the same term could refer to either kidnapping or rape in the modern sense of "sexual violation".. The original meaning of "carry off by force" is still found in some phrases, such as "rape and pillage" or in titles, such as the story of the Rape of the Sabine Women or the poem The Rape of the Lock, which is about the theft of a lock of hair....

Lightbulb Melanie Road

Quote:
Fresh evidence has come to light in the unsolved case of a teenage girl who was stabbed to death and sexually assaulted in Bath almost 30 years ago..

Student Melanie Road was 17 when she was stabbed to death after a night out in June 1984..

An eyewitness has said he saw Miss Road arguing with a man earlier that evening.

Her killer may have been a man who lived either as a student or resident in the city at the time, police said.
Recognised suspect

The information comes from an eyewitness who contacted the police some time after seeing an appeal marking 25 years since Melanie died.

"He recognised that man as someone he'd seen in Bath before," Det Insp Julie Mackay said

"He said he's local, doesn't know his name but he'd definitely seen him in Bath before.

"Maybe he was there as a student, we know that Bath has a very big student community, maybe he was a resident, but certainly in 1984 I think the killer was living in Bath and I think there's a good chance he could still be living there now."

Ms Mackay said the argument was seen at the top of the lane that led up from the Farmhouse pub to the top of St Stephen's Road on the night of her murder.

Her mother, Jean Road, has also written a letter to people in Bath which was printed in a local newspaper..Police say they have a full DNA profile of the Killer/Killers..

They have been working through a database of 12,000 male names who were either witnesses or suspects at the time.

5,500 names have been eliminated from the inquiry and 250 men have been swabbed since March..Police say they have the full DNA profile of Melanie's Killer/Killers..Her body was found on 9 June 1984 in front of some garages nearby..

This is an incomplete list of unsolved known murders in the UK. Victims believed to have been murdered by the same perpetrator(s) are grouped together. This does not include the 1,500 unsolved murders in Northern Ireland..

At around 10pm on 7 November 1994 she left home to visit the local Spar Supermarket in Crown Street, Hebden Bridge, to buy cornflakes. On the way to the shop she visited the Trades Club in Holme Street. According to CCTV footage in the supermarket Lindsay paid for the cornflakes at 10.22pm. The Most Honourable Order of the Bath (formerly the Most Honourable Military Order of the Bath)is a British order of chivalry founded by George I on 18 May 1725..The name derives from the elaborate mediaeval ceremony for creating a knight, which involved bathing (as a symbol of purification) as one of its elements..The Order of the Bath is the 4th-most senior of the British Orders of Chivalry, after The Most Noble Order of the Garter, The Most Ancient and Most Noble Order of the Thistle, and The Most Illustrious Order of St Patrick (dormant).. The last of the aforementioned Orders, which relates to Ireland, still exists but has been in disuse since the formation, in December 1922, of the Irish Free State..The blow, or colée, when first utilized was given with a naked fist.. It was a forceful box on the ear or neck that one would remember.. This was later substituted for by a gentle stroke with the flat part of the sword against the side of the neck.. This then developed into the custom of tapping on either the right or left shoulder or both, which is still the tradition in Great Britain today..In the Netherlands, the knights in the exclusive Military Order of William (the Dutch "Victoria Cross") are struck on both shoulders with the palm of the hand, first by the Dutch monarch (if present) then by the other knights...The new knight does not Kneel..Only to His G...

Raya escapes with Irka, another girl forced into prostitution, and they are sent to a women's shelter for victims of human trafficking. While investigating their case, Kathryn uncovers a large-scale sexual slavery ring utilized by international personnel (including Americans). She persuades Raya and Irka to testify against their traffickers in court, guaranteeing their safety; however, an indifferent UN official drops Irka at the border between Bosnia and Serbia when she cannot produce a passport. A corrupt peacekeeper tips off the traffickers, and
Raya is recaptured and tortured...

Charges in South Africa of aiding a coup in a foreign country were dropped on 23 February 2007, but the charges remained in Equatorial Guinea, where he had been convicted in absentia in November 2004. He lost an extradition hearing to Equatorial Guinea after serving 3 years of a 4-year prison sentence in Zimbabwe for the same crimes and being released early on good behavior. On the arrival of Mann in Equatorial Guinea for his trial in Malabo, public Prosecutor Jose Olo Obono said that Mann would face 3 charges - crimes against the head of state, crimes against the government, and crimes against the peace and independence of the state. He was released on 2 November 2009, on humanitarian grounds..After leaving Eton College, Mann trained to be an officer at Sandhurst and was commissioned into the Scots Guards on 16 December 1972. She said the incident involved 200–300 men and lasted around 25 minutes. She had been reporting the celebrations for an hour without incident when her camera battery failed. One of the Egyptian CBS crew suggested they leave, telling her later he heard the crowd make inappropriate sexual comments about her. She felt hands touching her, and can be heard shouting "stop", just as the camera died. One of the crowd shouted that she was an Israeli, a Jew, a claim that CBS said, though false, was a "match to gasoline". She went on to say that they tore off her clothes and, in her words, raped her with their hands, while taking photographs with their cellphones. They began pulling her body in different directions, pulling her hair so hard she said it seemed they were trying to tear off chunks of her scalp. Believing she was dying, she was dragged along the square to where the crowd was stopped by a fence, alongside which a group of women were camping. One woman wearing a chador put her arms around Logan, and the others closed ranks around her, while some men who were with the women threw water at the crowd. A group of soldiers appeared, beat back the crowd with batons, and one of them threw Logan over his shoulder. She was flown back to the U.S. the next day, where she spent 4 days in the hospital..She was contacted by President Obama when she arrived home. CBS said it remained unclear who the attackers were, and unlikely that any will be prosecuted...

With respect to human trafficking, Saudi Arabia was designated, together with Bolivia, Ecuador, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Burma, Jamaica, Venezuela, Cambodia, Kuwait, Sudan, Cuba, North Korea, and Togo, as a Tier 3 country by the United States Department of State in its 2005 Trafficking in Persons Report required by the Victims of Trafficking and Violence Protection Act of 2000 on which this article was originally based. Tier 3 countries are "countries whose governments do not fully comply with the minimum standards and are not making significant efforts to do so." The 2006 report shows some effort by the Kingdom to address the problems, but continues to classify the Kingdom as a Tier 3 country. The report recommends, "The government should enforce existing Islamic laws that forbid the mistreatment of women, children, and laborers..." Both the 2007 and the 2008 Trafficking in Persons Reports designate Saudi Arabia as a Tier 3 country..

The Government of Saudi Arabia does not fully comply with the minimum standards for the elimination of trafficking and is not making significant efforts to do so. The government continues to lack adequate anti-trafficking laws, and, despite evidence of widespread trafficking abuses, did not report any criminal prosecutions, convictions, or prison sentences for trafficking crimes committed against foreign domestic workers. The government similarly did not take law enforcement action against trafficking for commercial sexual exploitation in Saudi Arabia, or take any steps to provide victims of sex trafficking with protection. The Saudi government also made no discernable effort to employ procedures to identify and refer victims to protective services..

Saudi Arabia is a destination for men and women from South East Asia and East Africa trafficked for the purpose of labor exploitation, and for children from Yemen, Afghanistan, and Africa trafficking for forced begging. Hundreds of thousands of low-skilled workers from Pakistan, India, Indonesia, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Eritrea and Kenya migrate voluntarily to Saudi Arabia; some fall into conditions of involuntary servitude, suffering from physical and sexual abuse, non-payment or delayed payment of wages, the withholding of travel documents, restrictions on their freedom of movement and non-consensual contract alterations. According to international organisations such as Ansar Burney Trust, young children from Bangladesh and India are also smuggled to Saudi Arabia to be used as jockeys. The
children are underfed to reduce their weights, in order to lighten the load on the camel...

"Jack and the Beanstalk" is an English fairy tale. The earliest known appearance in print is Benjamin Tabart's moralised version of 1807.. "Felix Summerly" (Henry Cole) popularised it in The Home Treasury (1842), and Joseph Jacobs rewrote it in English Fairy Tales (1890).. Jacobs' version is most commonly reprinted today and it is believed to be closer to the oral versions than Tabart's because it lacks the moralizing...Jack is a young boy living with his widowed mother and a milk cow who is their only source of income.. Lightbulb Honor killing

Quote:
An honor killing is the homicide of a member of a family or social group by other members, due to the perpetrators' belief that the victim has brought shame or dishonor upon the family or community, usually for reasons such as refusing to enter an arranged marriage, being in a relationship that is disapproved by their relatives, having sex outside marriage, becoming the victim of rape, dressing in ways which are deemed inappropriate, or engaging in homosexual relations.. Honor killings are especially targeted against women and homosexuals. The practice, which occurs in various cultures, is universally condemned by human rights organizations...

Been looking around:

In 2001 Scotland Yard police revealed that it had been unable to find three hundred black boys aged between four to seven that disappeared from London in a three-month period. The three hundred boys were reported missing between July and September in 2001.

Journalist Yinka Sunmonu an expert in missing children told the BBC’s Today program “Children are here one day and gone the next”.

In 1989 in Westchester, New York which was the site of numerous UFO overflights and reports of human abductions at that time. Over three thousand missing children reports surfaced. After extensive investigation by local police departments the children were not found at red light districts or centres for run a ways. Researchers and law enforcement officials were baffled.

There is also the CIA ‘finders case’. This involved negative factions of the CIA directly involved in child kidnapping. This was revealed in a 1987 US customs report. Customs and police raided a Washington DC warehouse which was used by the CIA. There they found a set of instructions broadcast via a computer network which advised the CIA to move a huge amount of kidnapped children that were originally being held at the warehouse (customs and police found large amount of nappies and other things there) and to keep them moving across jurisdictions. There were instructions on impregnation of female teenagers and also instructions on how to avoid police detection. The destination for the children in the instructions was New Mexico.

The Albuquerque journal ran an article entitled ’ Why New Mexico has so many more missing children than comparable states remains a mystery’.

Much of this activity is centred around New Mexico where the Dulce underground facility is.

One male survivor of the MI6/CIA mind control project Monarch described in ’The illuminati formula’ by Fritz Springmeir, the china lake naval base at Ridgecrest in the California desert. This anonymous man says batches of children numbering one, two and three thousand were kept in cages piled up to the ceiling of large hangers. He says these cages are called ’woodpecker grids’. These are electrified and the children were tortured with electric shocks.

Children are today still being transported to china lake naval base by train, car and air. One of the main delivery routes for children into China Lake is by plane from the Santa Rosa airstrip near Bohemian grove. The Santa Rosa airstrip is supposed to be closed, yet planes take off from there every night and do not put there lights on until they are hundreds of feet in the air.

The Monarch Mind Control was carried out in large airplane hangers on the base which have been able to house thousands of tiny cages just large enough for human babies. Lots of 1,000 babies was a small batch. According to people who worked in the hangers helping program, many batches were 2,000 or 3,000 babies. Many survivors remember the thousands of cages housing little children from ceiling to floor. The cages were hot wired (electrified on the ceiling, bottom and sides) so that the children who are locked inside can receive horrific electric shocks to their bodies to groom their minds to split into multiple personalities. These cages are called Woodpecker Grids. The victim sees a flash of light when high D.C. voltage is applied.

The Nazi geneticist and mind control scientist Joseph Mengela ‘The angel of death’ from the Auschwitz concentration camp was brought to America after the war by MI6 and the OSS (which became the CIA) in project paperclip. Many other leading Nazi mind control experts, rocket scientists and geneticists were also brought to America and Britain after the war.

Joseph Mengela stayed at the China Lake base and the Tavistock institute in London.

China Lake naval base is in the same as Lancaster, California. It was in Lancaster the mass graves of mutilated children were discovered.

Make of this what you will. I've check the reports & the Robert Bigelow connection & that is legit.

Something really really bad has been going on for a long time.

I guess this really does give credit to David.

Lightbulb Mother and Child: Maternity and Child Welfare

When did Human life become so worthless.
Quote:
he headlines out of Ireland reverberated around the world, and how could they not? As reports had it, over several decades nearly 800 dead babies had been secretly dumped in a septic tank at a Roman Catholic maternity home for unwed mothers and their children in Tuam, County Galway. Ireland’s dark past was under the microscope again, and everyone wanted a peek.

London’s Independent called the discovery at St. Mary’s Mother and Baby Home “the Irish Holocaust,” a term usually reserved for the 1845–52 famine. The Guardian demanded, “Tell us the truth about the children dumped in Galway’s mass graves.” The Washington Post headlined its report, “Bodies of 800 children, long-dead, found in septic tank at former Irish home for unwed mothers,” which was promptly picked up by The Sydney Morning Herald. The spetic-tank claims were reported to readers of publications as diverse as The New York Daily News, Salon and Al-Jazeera. Weeks later and the scandal rumbled on, dominating the news in Ireland, a searing indictment of a country already home to too many scandals involving the historical nexus of Church and state.

The only problem was that in the gleeful rush to report and judge, the truth got lost.

The Associated Press last week issued a lengthy correction admitting that the septic tank might not contain any human remains at all; the wire service had also incorrectly reported that the children hadn’t been baptized because they were born out of wedlock. Other media outlets have been slower to dial down the hyperbole. Britain’s Guardian newspaper amended a headline on an opinion piece, removing the “dumped” claim, but most outlets have left their fact-free speculation to stand...

The truth is not entirely clear, but we know this: 796 babies are buried somewhere on the site of the old Bon Secours sisters’ home, which operated between 1925 and 1961. The records clearly show that. It’s also true that these institutions, into which unmarried women were placed by their families, has a higher infant mortality rate than the general population. In the 1920s, children born to unmarried mothers, mostly living in institutions, were six times more likely to die than children living at home with married parents. By the 1950s, they were three times higher, and by the 1960s it was equal, says historian Lindsey Earner-Byrne, author of Mother and Child: Maternity and Child Welfare in Dublin, 1922-60..This fascinating book provides a detailed account of the history of maternity and child welfare in Dublin between 1922 and 1960. In so doing it places maternity and child welfare in the context of twentieth-century Irish history, offering one of the only accounts of how women and children were viewed, treated and used by key lobby groups in Irish society and by the Irish state. Mother and child is of critical importance to understanding the political and social history of modern Ireland as it examines the responses of the State, the church, voluntary groups and women to the emergence of the welfare State in Ireland. As such it makes a welcome contribution to Irish political, social, medical and gender history...
