Default Is Graham Hancock a secret Freemason?

I just listened to a recent interview and was a bit surprised at how much he seemed to be promoting Freemasonry.

He starts talking about the pyramids at the 14 minute mark.

And at 22 minutes he says religions are evil, not secret societies... then starts talking about how great Freemasons are because they undermine the Catholic church.

"I find them to be open minded and thoughtful people"

I don't know. Just the way he talked about and defended Freemasonry and made me wonder. He claims they're amazing, spiritual people and went out of his way to say he wasn't one. He says he's given lectures to them too, which I thought was odd. I'm also wondering how he had access to be alone the King's Chamber...

You would be amazed at how many can enter the pyramids.

A little money in the hands of certain Egyptian officials and you are in.

Well spotted.

It wouldn't surprise me since he is so keen to promote all this fake alien bollocks like so many other New-agers.

I once found myself locked in the great pyramid.

Relatively easily done though it wasn't my intention.

Just turn up before midday and hide somewhere.

When they close the pyramid at midday for one hour, it means it's actually booked for one hour for some daft group of new-age goofs who think they will actually have some kind of profound experience while sitting cross legged amongst a bunch of other over privileged new-age goofs.

They mostly tend to be American.

Still, someone's making his money.

A little baksheesh to the right man and you're rolling in gullible tourist dollars.

Default Is Graham Hancock a secret Freemason?

I've also heard this interview and thought it was quite interesting considering the complex subject matter he talked about. As Graham said, he isn't a Freemason, and I can pretty much trust him on that. Graham isn't a conspiracy researcher & I can imagine him somewhat disagreeing with a few people in that particular field with certain matters or issues/ideas and theories, one of them being freemasonry; I don't know whether he was right or wrong about that but that's his opinion afterall. In some ways he is new age, but isn't David Icke?, afterall, Icke talks alot about conscienceness and ayahasca and humanity's struggle to remember itself and the nature of reality; they share common things.

I do find it strange Graham being given access to be in the great pyramid, but maybe it's not as hard as it seems as others have stated. Another curious thing is that Graham claims to have walked up the steps of the great pyramid and found his (I think) grandfather's signature on the top when he had got there. Co-incidence? or is there something going on here, symbolic maybe? What I would love to ask Graham is what he thinks of other researchers and conspiracy researchers such as David Icke, Alex Jones, Jordan Maxwell, Ian R Crane, etc.

Where does Hancock promote anything about aliens ?

His theory is that there have been advanced civilizations on this planet before that have been somehow wiped out. Fuck all about aliens.

He does believe whilst taking DMT you can communicate with intelligent entities, but he's not alone on that one. But once again he's not talking about Aliens.

So in 3 months and 12 days he has gone from not being a Freemason to having the 33rd degree?????????????????????

A meteoric rise, and if correct one that shows having the 33rd degree is worth nothing.

I just keep wondering how it is that all these people have the 33rd........

Once again, and it will be repeated ad infinitum for the hard of understanding,
33 degrees or any other degrees in any order or rite DOES NOT confer any measure of 'superiority' over ordinary Freemasons who have decided not to join any other orders.

I don't know if this is true or not, so call it a rumour then... That Graham Hancock is a Master Mason, 3rd degree, Blue Lodge of the Kappa Alpha Lodge at Berkley, CA.

Still think he's a good writer though, even if the brother is a complete sellout...

edit: Kappa Alpha, not Capa Alpha

Wouldn't surprise me. He does talk an awful lot of nonsense about ancient Egypt and it all has a new-age twang of nonsense.

I used to read his books, then I went to Egypt myself and did independent research and it made me realise how much nonsense he spoke.

Also, wasn't he going to be part of that year 2000 golden capstone thing over the Great Pyramid?

But the Egyptian government put the Kibosh on it because of what they deemed a freemasonic connection.

I think in the book The Stargate Conspiracy he is somewhat exposed as a possible agent of some kind. Correct me if I am mistaken, I haven't read it for a while.

I don't think Graham is a Mason. I do think there is rampant use of tools available to sell tho and no one can fault him for that. Graham, like many others has learned that controversy puts him in the public eye.
