Question lost book of Enki: solid story, but...

Almost everything sounds to me very believable, and stunning,
by reading Lost book of Enki and Slave species of god.
But I ask your opinion, about spaceship travels through the planets
that are described there.

I imagine the spaceship like in a cartoon, all the planets of our solar system in a row and the ship flying across one to another.
We all know that the planets run an eliptical orbit and sometimes
they are on the opposite side, while you may cross the "imaginary orbit line",
but it's very unlikely that you will pass near the planet.
Each one follows her orbit and they are dispersed everywhere.

The more rare event actually is the alignment.

So, the description of a ship flying passing Mars, then Earth, then...

You fly almost straight into vacuum space... to an objective.

Also, the so described difficult to cross "asteroid belt", ducking the asteroids
seems to me very childish, 'cause they follow an eliptical orbit to, that you
may "jump" going beyond, "above" or "below" the belt orbit, to a place of lower density of these objects.

If I am wrong please tell me.

I repeat, everything, including the description of the planets is stunning, but this part sound childish.

All planets interact with each other as they orbit their satellite, it is know as the invariable plane, each one never returns to where it passed last time.

Nothing ever truly aligns.
