Is this your way of saying you're walking around with a boner all day long?

In general it is difficult to criticise men for their fashion sense because in general men have zero fashion sense. It would be like asking the lottery machine why it chose the numbers it did.

When men aren't wearing uniforms designed for them by someone else (work or sport) which marks them as member of a hierarchical structure, there is no great theme to what they wear.
Can we agree that bras should be burned and purses should only be worn on halloween?

I don't see the problem.
Fashion is just another way of expressing yourself, it's like art.
All the clothes you're wearing are the result of it.

It's ok I can still cancel my reservation.

Can we make fun of bow ties?

I rented a tux for high school grad and the bow tie was fake. What was its function? Why do we need it when it has neither that nor the aesthetics?

Not many people create and design there own clothes now do they?

No they follow fashion and copy eachother until they feel secure about themselves and accepted in society.

These people just follow the heard, they don't want to be the lone black sheep.

I've got around 100 pairs of socks, easily enough to last 50 years.

I normally don't bother changing them for 4 to 5 days at least.

I can see what you're getting at, OP, but I don't think that most of the run way show pieces you've posted are meant to be worn on the street. They're just for show, the designers pushing the boundaries and having some fun. The designers who make this stuff usually design for movies, opera and theatre, not for ready to wear stuff. Nothing wrong with being innovative and eccentric.

Now what is really stupid is people demanding cheap clothing which causes suffering to the slaves in Indonesian and Bangladeshi sweat shops, and textiles which exploit animals like the recent Angora rabbit farm story. That made me sad that people don't even consider where their clothing comes from. Now, that is stupid.

Personally, I like to dress like this.

It's my idea of what looks good.

Ha ha ha ha brilliant thread.
Most fashion is boring as its all been done before .
Lady ga ga wears catwalk stuff like that and its just so over the top its trying too hard to get a response now - like children trying to get attention - singers have to resort to prancing about in their underwear - and its boring. Verging on porn.
Most people are desensitised to it like nudist camps.

The only taboos left involve illegal activities and already Miley has smoked pot on stage - so where we go from here leaves children and animals - if they go to that extreme I hope people will revolt at the revolting stars .
