Isiah Thomas led the 1988 Detroit Pistons to the NBA finals. In game six an ankle sprain in the third quarter seemed to light a fire in him. He came back into the game and lit up the L.A. Lakers for 25 points in that same third quarter on one leg. They didn't get the win or win the final game of the series, but that night "Zeke" showed the world the competitive spirit that would take the Pistons to back to back championships in the following years.

Perfect example of self-actualization in sports. The kind of player who can make things happen with awesome MENTAL power. Did anyone ever imagine they alone could score 16 points in 90 seconds in a clutch situation? Did that matter to Zeke?

Interview with fury on youtube today. Sounds like he is in a good place and his philosophy sounds sound: life is a set of experiences, you have to take the ups with the downs, he doesn't wish ill on anyone else, he's not going to be swayed by others and is just going to be himself etc. As he achieves more and grows through adversity he will hopefully exorcise his demons and find some peace in his mature years
