I'm trying to buy some of his books but they appear to be only available on his web site with heavy shipping charges. Any info on other sources would be greatly appreciated.

His Oracles and Origins series is interesting and worth a look at.

I am undecided on him though.

I just started this enormous video (60 videos, each 10 minutes!!) about his books 'Irish Origins of civilisation'

http://vodpod.com/watch/5243164-mich...ation-part-160

The stuff he's talking about is very interesting but to be able to find that information is one hell of a job....
The subjects are right up my street but I hate it that it is so big and I can't seem to find a starting point to do my own research.

I'll be on the fence for a long while with this man. I listened to an interview with him a while ago and he sounded very passionate and I loved his accent (northern Irish). Very different from the video above.

he's certainly worth checking out, i run his myspace page, not been for a while though since myspace is practically dead nowadays. i recommend the origins and oracles series, he sent me the boxset for free for setting the myspace up for him, which was very kind.

A genius, the way he can condense so much info and a put a philosphocial take on it is really interesting.

He connects a lot of dots also that many wouldn't think of. He's a good guy, bit off with some things I think but amazingly well researched.

Default Michael Tsarion on Akhenaton, the Cult of Aton

part 1 of 6

At the time Akhenaten became Egypt's pharaoh during the XVIII Dynasty circa 1350 B.C., Thebes was the capital and its patron god, Amun, the most powerful of the Egyptian gods. Amun had delivered Egypt at the start of the New Kingdom, driving foreign occupiers out of the land. The priests that served Amun were powerful and held as much as 30% of the land. Known first as Amonhotep IV, the pharaoh changed his name to Akhenaten during the fifth year of his reign, banishing the old gods and instituting what some scholars have called a "religious revolution."

Akhenaten and the Cult of Aton

Rejecting the traditional Egyptian gods, Akhenaten took the extraordinary step of moving the capital to a new city, built from scratch on the east bank of the Nile at Amarna. It was called Akhetaten or the "horizon of the Aten," and would stand for thirty years. Moving his court to the new city, Akhenaten vowed never to leave, a decision that would have negative implications.

part 2 of 6

Aten was the sun disk, the Re of old Egypt, personified in the pharaoh who was both the son and intermediary. According to Bob Brier, the idea of the sun disk first appeared "a thousand years earlier during the Old Kingdom." Similarly, Nicolas Grimal argues that Akhenaten's beliefs were not revolutionary or new, but could be traced back to old theological teachings coming out of Heliopolis in the Old Kingdom period.
Writing much of the liturgy himself, Akhenaten's most well known poem of adoration was his Great Hymn to the Aten which has often been compared to the Old Testament Psalm 104. The notion that Aten somehow promoted monotheism is debated. Grimal points out that "Atenism" was a reflection of "the common ground of Semitic civilizations."

and how can anyone claim info? so all the people Tsarion has read just woke up one morning with info?

its about presentation, expressing ones self, and piecing info together allowing others to take and do their research.

I dont see this like bands making albums, nor is it art, its collecting and presenting info.

some "Facts" about Michael Tsarion and his work:

I've seen the complete Origins & Oracles Series, and some other videos of him.
I't really fascinating and very pleasant to view and listen to.

Atlantis, Alien visitation and Genetic manipulation* (part of the Origins Series) alone is alread 10 hours and 30 minutes long!

I really like the guy BUT anyone who deals with his stuff needs to be aware of a few thing:

He likes to cherrypick bible quotes and even mixes them together anyway he likes while omiting parts that dont fit into what he wants you to believe.

All his sources to proof his points are as you might guess highly controversial writers, other conspiracy theorists, or some Indian tomes like the Bhagavagita and "other" Vedic texts - but he usually omits the exact place where you can backcheck his "quotes".

Tsarion is basically a Satanist - or Luciferian. He likes people like Blavatski and Aleister Crowley, and says that the god of the bible was an evil alien enslaver, while Lucifer was the good guy who wanted to help humanity and free them from it's shackles.

Tsarions "forum" is highly controlled and censored, and occupied by VERY cultlike mindless fanboys only. Tsarion also seem to be very active in censoring anything that could harm his image or income-base - like blocking youtube videos.

Tsarion's past and circumstances of growin up and grooming is very much in the dark. Little is known. He seems to be affiliated with Rosecrucians or somesuch organisations because in a nutshell that is what he teaches.

Like most controversial teachers - you wont ever find Tsarion in a debate versus a well infomed critic - he only seems to get interviewed by people who worship everything he says.
