It was kind of funny when I heard of this at the time but idk maybe he was really talking to it

There was also a giant tree there too apparently hundreds of years old
He sounds like a cool old Druid lol

"In the country it seems as if every tree said to me: 'Holy! holy!' Who can give complete expression to the ecstasy of the woods! O, the sweet stillness of the woods!"

Ludwig van Beethoven, July, 1814, Baden, Vienna.

Incredible trees. Some are a bit freaky.
I do like pinterest though, always take me down the rabbit hole.

I love trees. I always used to sit and play under a big Oak Tree in the garden as a child. I used to tell my friends that tiny fairies lived in them and they believed me at the time. Now my friends remind me and make fun of that - but I still remember seeing them. Tiny little lights that used to speak to me that came from the tree.
I always am in awe of trees and will be looking up at the branches on any walk.
I also have to touch each tree and whisper hello to it and talk to them. (Making sure no one is looking first ha ha)
They give out an emotion to me that I feel the same as some animals do. Animals that are trying to communicate with humans such as injured or older animals or a dog I had once I could communicate telepathically with that - trees do the same.
I remember as a child going to a safari park and a giraffe bent its head down into the car and licked my hand - and I was so excited because it had the same messages as a tree gives out - like a very old wise being.
Giraffes spend a lot of time with their heads up in the sky with trees so it makes sense.

And one day a few years ago I woke up vomiting - I could hear the neighbour trimming his hedges as usual - but I could hear screams - in my head - help me - I couldn't take the feeling anymore I thought he must have murdered someone. I opened the curtains and he had hired people to cut down his huge tree - OMG I was crying - that tree felt pain. It was halfway cut.
I communicated with it and told it to faint - conveyed the feeling of fainting to it. I remember reading once that plants faint if they know other plants are being cut - I didn't believe it but now I was hoping it was true.
It went quiet after that - I'd like to think I helped it a bit in it's last moments.
I can't stand passing trees being cut down but I guess I was closer to that particular tree as I used to look up at it's branches from my garden.

Ok I'm probably sounding nuts to some people - but I empathise really strongly with other energy beings - so much that I isolate myself from people or it gets too much.
I married the opposite of an empath - a psychopath lol - absolutely no empathy.
There was peace in not knowing what was in his head - but unlike the kind, wise old trees shining in the light - his mind was full of dark things. I divorced him before he murdered me - you can't save those who are not born with empathy. You can't save those who don't want to be saved.
Trees - peaceful, calm and more empathic than some 'humans' that's for sure.

I think everyone that has empathy can tune in or out as much or as little as they wish - try 'tuning in' to a tree. Listen. It's amazing.
