Well, yes, my considerations are based on that eg Intel/AMD(possibly microsoft) only can query cpu data. A unique device identifier would be sufficient.
I am not too much into hardware details, but I am into software, and it is absolutely no problem on MS platforms to query with some lines of code not only cpu data, but almost everything hardware related.
If the box is connected to the net, data can theoretically be retrieved without user's knowing.
Many modern programming languages feature some kind of sql hardware/vendor queries.

Well I figured it out!

This one works fine on Opera 11.11 ..... I'm just running on a Indian IP..... Now it changed to a New York IP ...... It works OK!
