Sorry, I should make myself clear:

A 'fully briefed agent' in this context would undoubtedly be 'in on the plot'.

so to be clear: you are saying you believe farage was 'in on the plot'?

if so he was signing upto having a highspeed car crash at an indeterminate time on his journey

That would be a pretty exciting journey!

You must think farage is a very brave guy

To be clear, it's a hypothesis. I did state that, didn't I? Please do Google the word.

So I'm not saying I believe it to be true. Just playing around with possibilities.

Anyway, as stated earlier, the idea would be to create the impression that it was an attempt on his life. It could've been done in a controlled way with limited danger to Farage.

The idea wasn't to appeal to everyone. No. It was to appeal to the target audience for aforementioned reasons. (Refer to previous posts.)

The only way to fix things so it happens quickly would be to remove two of the wheel nuts leave one nipped up and the other loose, just loosening all four would give the game away, especially if it was a front one, the wheel would easily be felt through the steering wheel.

If it was a read wheel you would also feel it through your backside but not as easily.

If you wanted to make it dangerous you would go for a front wheel, because loosing control of the steering could end up going into the front of another car, and that is if it was on the off side of the road and into oncoming traffic.

So which wheel was it.

Come on guys get your investigative heads on, which wheel etc.

you are suggesting there would be physical evidence of foul play?

Oh yes, the studs that were damaged would easily show, the ones without wear and no nuts fitted would be less marked, you see the studs are held in by a tight fit through from behind, any studs that were sheered would be the ones with the nuts left on. I know this because it happened to me in my old Morris Marina way back, and I ended up in a hedge, luckily near side without much damage.

Three of the studs were lost, so I had to remove all four wheels and steal one from each wheel so I could get back home, slowly that is.

I don't know. It could be true, could be false. Just hypothesizing, in case you hadn't noticed.

So you are open to all the ideas so far?

Including garage error, farages error and assassination or vandalisation attempt?

It all depends upon how honest the police are I suppose, or if another body or party did the investigation. I have worked with the inspection teams several times when we brought suspicious claims and or car into our secure compound after a said accident and boy are they good, but sometimes they ask for our opinions too, being engineers.

They ca solve cases with the tiniest fragment of light lens, or certain paint flakes.

One other thing that needs to be cleared is, where was Farage's car left before the incident.

Sorry, your razor-sharp barrister skills are demoralizing me. I feel all a quiver now.

I'm open to all ideas. But I like to entertain the outsiders; that is, those ideas that don't receive adequate representation.

indeed

But police covering things up would all be suspicious activity as well

ok some people allow their opinions of farage affect their judgment so that they see things very myopically

Did someone mention barrister skills or was that common sense speaking, I can tell that person, barristers may be sharp and allowed to dine at the inn, but they go upon an engineers report in such a case nonetheless.

I like this post, its fun.

indeed

Important to keep all options open and some might bare that in mind before publically mocking the man as a liar
