Knife and gun crime rockets across England and Wales – as police numbers hit historic lows
Offences 'disproportionately concentrated' in London and other cities
Tom [email protected]
Thursday 25 January 2018 10:45 GMT

Reported knife crime has seen a 21 per cent year-on-year spike across England and Wales, new figures show. Gun crime has also seen a 20 per cent rise amid a surge in incidents being reported to police. Forces registered 37,443 offences involving a knife or sharp instrument in the year ending September 2017 – the highest tally since comparable records started in the 12 months to March 2011. Gun crime saw 6,694 recorded offences.

Kevin Peterson backlash and counter-backlash

So prof Peterson did a segment on channel 4 news recently where he took a presenters arguments apart and now the progressives are butthurt about it. The progressive newspaper 'the independent' has run a story about how the presenter then had to call security in after she received online abuse in the wake of the interview

I strongly SMELL A RAT on this one. How do we know that any abuse or threats made were really made by fans of peterson? Isn't it the perfect way for the progressives to try and save some face to make the threats themselves and then blame it on petersons fans to try and smear him through guilt by association? This is BS....my bet would be that it is the progressives themselves who carried out the online abuse as a false flag PR op. This is just the kind of dirty tricks that progressives love to pull to try and make their opponents look bad: cheap point scoring because they can't win the real debates

Cathy Newman: Channel 4 calls in security experts following 'vicious abuse' over Jordan Peterson interview
'I will not hesitate to get the police involved if necessary,' says editor

Channel 4 has been forced to call in “security specialists” after a combative interview with a controversial Canadian psychologist spawned a series of online abuse and threats directed at presenter Cathy Newman. Ms Newman grilled University of Toronto professor Jordan Peterson, who has attracted a following from the far-right, on gender and equality, including his claims that the pay gap between men and women cannot solely be attributed to gender. She was the target of a wide range of “vicious” comments and “misogynistic” threats following the exchange, leading to Channel 4 having to call in security specialists, according to the editor, Ben de Pear.

Own Your Personal Choices Ladies!
January 26, 2018
Jeananne Crowley

Whilst being honoured as “Australian of the Year” in London this week the Grande Dame of Feminism had a go at the #Me Too movement. Never one to mince words, Germaine Greer commented on the actresses who said Harvey Weinstein assaulted ‘em thus:

"If you spread your legs because he said 'be nice to me and I'll give you a job in a movie' then I'm afraid that's tantamount to consent, and it's too late now to start whingeing.” Crudely put I grant you, but all the same hasn’t she a point? In her heyday, mine too, when young and ‘out there’ there was no lack of predatory sleeze bags to contend with so why were we well able to slap down unwarranted advances whereas today’s young women appear to consider themselves helpless victims of bad behaviour, unwilling or unable to do anything about it when its happening but more than willing to complain afterwards?

SMART phone sexual consent contract app

I saw a clip recently about this new app on smart phones where people can make a contract of consent before they have sex. The contract requires the signees to specify what is and what isn't permitted during act of intercourse. This seems to me a bit....robotic....as if sex always has to be a premeditated thing. Where's the spontaneity in sitting down and turning your love life into the equivalent of a business transaction?

I see a further problem with this application. I used to work for a company that brought in very stringent contracts for all employees that put everyone on edge because it listed do's and don'ts that were so stringent and petty that it allowed the supervisor to pick up anyone on virtually anything and then build up black marks against them with a three strikes and you're out system. This means that a personality clash with a supervisor could then lead to them targeting specific people and catching them out on minor things while ignoring the rest of the work force doing exactly the same things.

This sex app has the same room for misuse. Lets say that whilst in flagrante the man, full of the heat of passion caresses the womans breast when suddenly she sits bolt upright and pushes him away. 'what's wrong?' he asks? 'well', she replies, 'we specified very clearly in our phone app consent contract that i consented to you touching my left breast but you just touched me on my right breast and i did not consent to that therefore you are now guilty of RAPE.

Of course this is assuming that some women might be unreasonable especially if things don't develop how they want to between the two people for example if the guy decides to discontinue the relationship and the woman feels scorned. So ARE all women always reasonable? The current review of recent rape cases by the prosecution services due to a spate of false rape convictions suggests otherwise.

Oliver Mears: Surrey Police to review all rape cases after Oxford University student cleared more than two years after accusation
Decision comes after judge hits out at ‘unnecessary delays’ in investigation

A second British police force has started a review of all live rape cases amid fears the failure to find and disclose vital evidence will cause miscarriages of justice. Surrey Police announced the move after the prosecution of an Oxford University student collapsed because of new evidence passed to prosecutors. Oliver Mears suspended his chemistry studies at St Hugh’s College while awaiting trial for allegedly raping and assaulting a woman at a party in July 2015.

Conservatives' LGBT group linked with paedophile ring after former chairman is jailed for sharing child porn

Matthew Sephton, 42, was found guilty of possessing indecent child images
The Trafford councillor was a member of groups sharing child images online

New Tory chairman Brandon Lewis was urged last night to investigate claims that the party's lesbian and gay rights group was infiltrated by a paedophile ring.

The allegation was made after the former chairman of the Conservatives' LGBT group was jailed on Friday for sharing the 'most horrendous child abuse images imaginable'.

Primary school teacher Matthew Sephton, 42, was convicted at Manchester Crown Court of possessing and distributing indecent child images.

Richie covers some interesting ground, first of all looking at how the political class on both sides of the parliament are busy derailing brexit. It ocurred to me recently when i was thinking about aspects of british culture that britain basically gave the world parliamentary democracy although i'm not sure that's necessarily one we should be proud of as it seems to be a giant scam with both sides of the parliament working for the globalist central banking cabal

Its easy to lose sight of this with all the political drama that the corporate media kicks up but if you always keep one eye on the main agenda issues like the SMART grid, geoengineering, central banking, the digitisation of money and so on you can see that regardless what happens in the political arena nothing ever threatens those sacred cows. So keeping one eye on that you can always see that whatever politicians sit in the cabinet the larger agenda of moving us all towards a global technocracy keeps on rolling on

But it ocurred to me that the parliament and its two party system is like the two hemispheres of the brain each pretending to be different when really they are both part of the same machinery of control...both part of the same beast

So we see both sides of the house working to derail brexit and kick the can down the road with the transition until labour can get in and shoot brexit down. most the tories want that to happen but are playing a game of paying lip service to brexit so that the british people can't see the naked truth of what treacherous little weasels they are.

So then richie goes into the recent holocaust memorials and of course we shouldn't forget the tragedies of the war which killed tens of millions of people including many jews but there is a myopic focus in the media on the jewish experience to the exclusion of the rest of humanity

He plays a clip of a jewish holocaust survivor who recounts the horror she went through. I've been to Buchenwald concentration camp and to oradour sur glan and i know about the kind of horrific things that went on in that industrialised slaughter

However the lady says at the end that they weren't liberated but were just left alone and that felt a bit accusatory as if it was implying that britain didn't do anything to help.

But we DID do something....we fought and defeated the nazis and my grandparents and great uncles and so on were all involved so i think we shouldn't lose sight of the fact that the british public don't owe a debt of guilt here as WE FOUGHT THE NAZIS and beat them at great personal cost

I think what all the 'emoting' that the corporate talking heads are doing is really about though is trying to associate talking about the rothschild cabal with the holocaust as if by speaking about the rothschild cabal you somehow want to bring about the holocaust or something...it's crazy

What they are basically saying is ''this terrible thing happened in the past so now you are not allowed to talk about anything the rothschild cabal are doing to you, your society and country'' which is not fair at all.

Its like they are saying that the problem is not with the rothschild cabal controlling our economy and undermining our country in myriad ways, the problem is only if we then speak openly about that. Trying to raise the spectre of the holocaust which we british had nothing to do with as a way to try and silence us through some sort of weird guilt by association implication is SICK in the extreme. The rothschild cabal seem to be hiding behind the victims of the holocaust as they continue their dastardly schemes....its really sick and manipulative

With teen mental health deteriorating over five years, there’s a likely culprit
November 14, 2017 2.36pm GMT

Around 2012, something started going wrong in the lives of teens.

In just the five years between 2010 and 2015, the number of U.S. teens who felt useless and joyless – classic symptoms of depression – surged 33 percent in large national surveys. Teen suicide attempts increased 23 percent. Even more troubling, the number of 13- to 18-year-olds who committed suicide jumped 31 percent.

In a new paper published in Clinical Psychological Science, my colleagues and I found that the increases in depression, suicide attempts and suicide appeared among teens from every background – more privileged and less privileged, across all races and ethnicities and in every region of the country. All told, our analysis found that the generation of teens I call “iGen” – those born after 1995 – is much more likely to experience mental health issues than their millennial predecessors.

What happened so that so many more teens, in such a short period of time, would feel depressed, attempt suicide and commit suicide? After scouring several large surveys of teens for clues, I found that all of the possibilities traced back to a major change in teens’ lives: the sudden ascendance of the smartphone.

All signs point to the screen

'All Hell Broke Loose': NYU Prof Suing School After Being 'Coerced' Into Paid Leave for Criticizing PC Culture
January 29, 2018

A liberal studies professor at New York University was put on paid leave and ridiculed by his colleagues for his criticism of political correctness on campus.

Michael Rectenwald is suing NYU and several professors, alleging they have launched a harassment campaign against him because they disagree with his views.

Tucker Carlson noted that the Greenwich Village school is one of the most liberal in the world.

Rectenwald agreed, saying "all hell broke loose" after administrators discovered his Twitter account, which listed criticisms of political correctness and suppression of speech on campus writ-large.

"I merely made criticisms," he said, noting that his focus was national - citing the treatment of conservative commentator Milo Yiannopoulos in 2017.

"I mentioned no persons by name, no... identities at all," he said.

Anti-PC professor Jordan Peterson slams UK media over cringeworthy ?hannel 4 interview
Published time: 31 Jan, 2018 17:42
Edited time: 1 Feb, 2018 07:29

A professor who is gaining support for his campaign against political correctness has attacked the British media, after he was accused of forming an army of trolls against a reporter following an interview on Channel 4.

Jordan Peterson, a Canadian lecturer, has criticized the way Cathy Newman, a Channel 4 anchor, turned on him in an interview, before he rebuked her over comments he made on transgender personal pronouns.

A social media storm erupted, with Peterson’s growing fanbase mocking Newman and posting videos of the moment he left her speechless. The anchor was lost for words after she called him out for offending transgender people, only for Peterson to respond by hailing Newman’s own right to offend him with her line of questioning.

Snowflakes? They're today's fascists! Jewish writer STEPHEN POLLARD says there's nothing funny about the march of the PC brigade
By Stephen Pollard Editor Of The Jewish Chronicle, For The Mail On Sunday
Published: 00:14, 4 February 2018 | Updated: 00:18, 4 February 2018

Last weekend I, along with many around the world, commemorated Holocaust Memorial Day. As editor of the country’s leading Jewish newspaper, The Jewish Chronicle, it is a memorial of particular significance.

Through editing the newspaper, I am confronted daily with the legacy of that unique evil, including the suppression of debate, the distortion of truth and even the burning of books at the heart of that terrible chapter in our history.

I know, too, that the Third Reich’s totalitarian impulse – that only one type of question and one type of answer are legitimate, and all else must be extinguished – is far from unique because repressive regimes the world over continue to ban freedom of enquiry and freedom of expression.

We must be on our guard.

You might wonder, then, what Friday night’s attack on Tory MP Jacob Rees-Mogg as he attempted to give a talk to students has to do with this. Or last week’s decision – now reversed in the face of near-universal outrage – by Manchester Art Gallery to remove a pre-Raphaelite painting featuring mild nudity, Hylas And The Nymphs.

These are both an attempt to silence a view because it offends some people. It is for good reason that a new word entered the Oxford English Dictionary last month: a snowflake is ‘an overly sensitive or easily offended person’.

When the snowflake generation seeks to silence an MP because they disagree with him, or prompt an art gallery to remove a painting because someone might be offended by the nude depiction of a woman, they believe they have right and morality on their side.

But theirs is a dangerous delusion. Because free speech – and the offence which can come with it – is the bedrock of freedom itself.

The snowflakes are becoming an avalanche. Barely a week now passes without a fresh demand that they be protected from some form of supposedly offensive behaviour in the name of morality and decency.

one aspect covered here is the attempt by progressives to change what counts as consent between a man and woman

my belief is that the agenda behind this is to destroy relations between men and women by making men too afraid to approach women and by making women antagonistic towards men

This would then see robots used to satisfy the sexual deficit that would result in society which then moves us all closer to transhumanism

Vin advocates PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY but progressives don't want that; progressives want the power to smite anyone they don't like through the use of oppressive state apparatus

''our spirit guide to the dark recesses of the left'' lol

All people on this issue are missing the key point: maybe men AND women should both consider that doritos contain the neuro-toxin monosodium glutomate and perhaps both genders should reject doritos altogether....just an idea...

Anyway, there's a great line in this where tucker asks his female guest if she wants to be as gross as men when they eat in order to be equal and cathy replies 'women just aren't there yet''....as if their highest ambition is to be as gross as men lol

I have heard feminists take aim at 'banter' by men....i've heard them use that word negatively a lot of times but bantering is something men enjoy when they are among each other...men like to joke and have a laugh with each other and some women engage in it too so will women seek to banter more to be equal with men or just ban bantering to make men like women? its all so confusing...

perhaps what feminists are really resentful about is how much more relaxed men are. I think women are more fearful then men in general and i think that fear is not all relating to a fear of men i think much of female fear stems from their anxiety over how they will be perceived in the eyes of other women...and you can't blame men for that. Do women really get glamed up to impress men or are they really trying to impress other women?

if so then maybe those women need to own such NEUROSES and realise that they do it to themselves and each other much of the time

If women want to be more relaxed then maybe they should stop being 80% of the consumer market and instead chill the fuck out and stop placing such a burden on themselves and each other and on the planet and on men for that matter....i suggest most female social anxiety stems from their desire to impress other women...analyse THAT

Social engineering by female supremacists...

After attacking mathematics and philosophy as racist “white male” propaganda, university professors now claim ECONOMICS is sexist and bigoted
by IWB · February 7, 2018

Two female Associate professors of Economics at the University of Michigan (UM) have published a new paperalleging that more men than women are interested in the field of economics because economics textbooks apparently portray more men than women.

Betsey Stevenson and Hanna Zlotnick claim that, of the economics textbooks they decided to peruse in their spare time, 77 percent of the people represented were male, which apparently makes them mad.

Both fictional characters used for illustrative purposes and actual economists throughout history are routinely depicted as being male rather than female, which is highly triggering to feminists. Overall, they say, male economists outnumber female ones by a factor of 12 to 1 – and in one textbook case, not a single female economist was mentioned.

Stevenson and Zlotnick expressed further upset about what they claim are decision biases in many economics textbooks. While men are often depicted as “making a decision,” women, they say, are often illustrated as “[having] a decision made for them.”

“This fact both makes it likely that economics textbooks are male-dominated and suggests that concrete steps need to be taken to understand why economics is not attracting female students,” the feminist duo wrote, adding that “one part of the answer may be that women do not see themselves, their interests, and their lives described in economics textbooks.”

This type of feminist insanity is rampant on many college campuses today. To keep up with the latest news on this front, be sure to visit CampusInsanity.com.
According to actual statistics, academia in general is female-dominated

What’s ironic about this latest episode of feminist triggering on a college campus is the fact that, when you really take a look at the numbers, what Stevenson and Zlotnick think they’re seeing in their field’s curriculum isn’t actually representative of what’s actually taking place in academia as a whole.

As explained by Breitbart, most of academia is actually female-dominated, with women being the majority of all medical school students, law students, as well as candidates for both bachelors and doctorate degrees.

The citation for this inconvenient fact comes from the American Enterprise Institute (AEI), which has published a plethora of data to suggest that females are actually over-represented throughout academia, and that men are systematically being pushed out of the learning environment.

“If America’s diversity worshipers see any female under-representation as a problem and possibly even as proof of gender discrimination, what do they propose should be done about female over-representation in higher education at every level and in 7 out of 11 graduate fields?” writes Mark J. Perry from AEI.

“After all, to be logically consistent, aren’t female over-representation and female under-representation simply different sides of gender injustice?”

So what’s actually happening is that women are being recruited more than men are to learn, graduate, and enter the workforce as highly skilled individuals. It doesn’t at all match the narrative being peddled by the likes of Stevenson and Zlotnick, but it’s the truth that too few people in the modern age are willing to confront.

It’s also a fact that men and women tend to have different interests, with men typically being more geared to the sciences and numbers, and women being more geared towards the humanities, social sciences, and other less-technical fields (or they demand to have the sciences recreated into their own personal liking). This is just the way it is, and it doesn’t necessarily mean anything as far as discrimination or bias.

“People should choose the [career] fields they want to be in,” Professor Lee Jussim from Rutgers University told Campus Reform. “Everything does not have to be perfectly equal all the time.”

Sex and ’68: Liberal movement revolutionized ‘sexuality’ but at what cost?
by Slavoj Žižek

This year marks half a century since the May 1968 events in Paris (and elsewhere) which launched a youth-driven liberal movement that changed the world.

Thus, now is a good time to reflect upon the similarities and differences between the sexual liberation and feminism of the 1960’s and the protest campaigns that flourish today, from LGBT+ to #MeToo.

In the aftermath of ‘68, the French “progressive” press published a whole series of petitions demanding the decriminalization of paedophilia, claiming that in this way the artificial and oppressive culturally-constricted frontier that separated children from adults could be abolished and the right to freely use one’s body be extended also to children. They claimed that only dark forces of “reaction” and “oppression” could oppose this measure and among the signatories were iconic cultural figures such as Sartre, de Beauvoir, Derrida, Barthes, Foucault, Aragon, Guattari, Deleuze and Lyotard.

Today, however, paedophilia is perceived as one of the worst crimes imaginable and, instead of fighting for it in the name of anti-Catholic progress, it is mostly associated with the dark side of the Catholic Church itself. Which means that fighting against paedophilia is today a progressive task directed at the forces of reaction.

And the funniest victim of this shift was the politician Daniel Cohn-Bendit, still living in the old spirit of the 60’s, who recently described, in an interview, how while in his younger years, when he worked in a kindergarten, he regularly played masturbatory games with young girls.

Subsequently, to his surprise, he faced a brutal backlash, with many voices demanding his removal from the European parliament and legal prosecution.
Changing Mores

The gap separating the ’68 sexual liberation from today’s struggle for sexual emancipation is clearly discernible in a recent polemical exchange between Germaine Greer and some feminists who critically reacted to her negative remarks concerning #MeToo. Their main point was how, while Greer’s main thesis – that women should sexually liberate themselves from male domination and assume active sexual lives without any recourse to victimhood – was valid in the sexual-liberation movement of the 1960s, today the situation is different.

And what has happened, in between, is that the sexual emancipation of women (i.e. their ability to freely assume a social life as active sexual) was itself commodified. While it’s true to say women are no longer perceived as passive objects of male desire, it’s also the case that their active sexuality itself now equates (in male eyes) to their permanent availability and readiness to engage in sexual interaction.

In these new circumstances, forcefully saying NO isn’t considered mere self-victimization since it implies the rejection of this new form of sexual subjectivization of women, and demands women not only passively submit to male sexual domination but act as if they actively want it.

Who’s to Blame?

While there is a strong element of truth in this line of argument, one should nonetheless also admit how problematic it is to anchor one’s political demands to status of victimhood. Is the basic characteristic of today’s subjectivity not the weird combination of the free subject who believes themselves ultimately responsible for their own fate and the subject who bases their argument on their status as a victim of circumstances beyond their own control? Every contact with another human being is experienced as a potential threat – if the other smokes, if he casts a covetous glance at me, he already hurts me; this logic of victimization is today universalized, reaching well beyond the standard cases of sexual or racist harassment.

For instance, think of the growing financial industry around paying damage claims. This notion of the subject as an irresponsible victim involves the extreme Narcissistic perspective: every encounter with the Other appears as a potential threat to the subject's precarious balance. The paradox is that, in today's predominant form of individuality, the self-centred assertion of the psychological subject paradoxically overlaps with the perception of oneself as a victim of circumstances.
Billionaire ‘Leftists’

One cannot shed the suspicion that the Politically Correct cultural Left is getting so fanatical about advocating “progress,” and fighting new battles against cultural and sexist “apartheids,” to cover up its own full immersion into global capitalism. This is the space where LGBT+ and #MeToo meet Tim Cook and Bill Gates.

How did we come to this? As many conservatives have noticed (and they are right here), our time is marked by the progressive disintegration of a shared network of customs which ground what George Orwell approvingly referred to as “common decency.”

Today, these standards are dismissed as a yoke that subordinates individual freedom to some proto-Fascist, organic social forms. In such a situation, the liberal vision of minimalist laws (which should not regulate social life too much but just prevent individuals encroaching upon - or “harassing” - each other) reverts into an explosion of legal and moral rules, and into an endless process of legal argument and moralization, which is labelled as “the fight against all forms of discrimination.”

If there are no shared mores that are allowed to influence the law, only the fact of “harassing” other subjects, then a new question arises. Who – in the absence of such mores – will decide what counts as “harassment”?

After all, in France we see associations of obese people which demand that all public campaigns against obesity and for healthy eating habits be stopped, since they hurt the self-esteem of obese persons. Meanwhile, the militants of “Veggie Pride” condemn the “specieism” of meat-eaters (who discriminate against animals, privileging humans – for them, a particularly disgusting form of “fascism”) and demand that “vegetophobia” should be treated as a kind of xenophobia and proclaimed a crime. And so on and so forth, until perhaps one day the debate reaches things like incest-marriage, consensual murder and cannibalism.

Free-For-All

The problem here IS the obvious arbitrariness of the ever shifting rules. Let us take child sexuality: one can argue that its criminalization is an unwarranted discrimination, but one can also argue that children should be protected from sexual molestation by adults.

And we could go on here: the same people who advocate the legalization of soft drugs usually support the prohibition of smoking in public places; and the same folk who protest against the patriarchal abuse of small children in our societies, worry when someone condemns members of foreign cultures who live among us for doing exactly this (say, the Roma people preventing children from attending public schools), claiming that this is a case of meddling with other “ways of life.”

It is thus for necessary structural reasons that this “fight against discrimination” is an endless process endlessly postponing its final point, a society freed of all moral prejudices which, as Jean-Claude Michea put it, “would be on this very account a society condemned to see crimes everywhere.”
