how is south africa.

only yesterday i watched a documentary on the lost libraries of timbuktu/mali, on bbc4.

mbeki/south african president gave some funds for them archive the old texts/manuscripts.

that sites awesome, some of the sayings are just my cup of tea.

i was reading about that the other day (you'd think we could have a doccie about it too you know?), so much for africans never wrote anything eh?

been looking into a series of structures in northern sa called adam's calendar on which there once again has been a deafening silence from the government, it's basically a south african stonehenge and if you follow the ancient roads you find temples, houses, terraced farmlands(non native farming style), all extending as far as kenya. interesting stuff.

adams calendar, thats sounds cool. do you know its age?

timbuktu, and alexandria gave europe its intellectual foundation. especially alexandria/egypt, after all alexander the great conquered egypt. the role of africa/asia is played down by the european mainstream education. it owes alot to africa/asia. however the european intellectual elite, acknowledge the debts, from socrates to voltaire, from oppenheimer to einstein, all acknowledge egypt and india.

i'm with you one that one, even mutwa's stories about the origins of the bantu tribes are set in eastern africa and the only move south much later, before that there were 'demons' and evil tribes in league with these demons in the south.

i am a bit weary of credo, but i do like what he says.

i think post atalntis/lemuria, the rise of the egyptain/olmec/incan/aztec/maya empires etc is another great epoch to research. the global construction of pyramids/ziggauruts, all points to a shared culture in my view.

as for africa, its a place i have alwys wanted to visit, especially kenya(safari) and ethiopia(axum/lalibela).

have you any links on african history?

yeah, i do sometimes wonder about his info, but i do also think he speaks in the language of an initiate, so you're not always going to get everything he speaks about.

i'm being drawn to info about the nilotic meridian and the sites built on that line, giza, umbaba, great zimbabwe and adam's calendar.

i don't relly have many links, i mainly research with books, i just don't always trust the info on the net.
