Very interesting tread. Thanks. Symbolism is so bloody obvious.

The term holocaust comes from the Greek word holókauston, an animal sacrifice offered to a god in which the whole (holos) animal is completely burnt (kaustos)....

The biblical word Shoah (שואה) (also spelled Sho'ah and Shoa), meaning "calamity", became the standard Hebrew term for the Holocaust as early as the 1940s, especially in Europe and Israel. Shoah is preferred by many Jews for a number of reasons, including the theologically offensive nature of the word "holocaust", which they take to refer to the Greek pagan custom.
Thanks. I was wondering where this term originated.

This image reminds about pagan trinity symbol.

Thank you so much for all of your comments. You don't know what they mean to me.
I was a bit afraid that I might be the only one who sees and feels what is going on with those monuments, buildings and pieces of modern art.
Above all because here in Germany strange dark cubic buildings and weird monuments pop up like crazy.

Thanks again for your response to all of you.
And please feel free to contribute Holocaust monuments/museums ... pictures if they cross your way on the web.

The most stunning pictures were deleted from the server where they were hosted

No Holocaust memorial but nonetheless quite interesting in the context of this thread:

Nice spot. Hmmm, an uncapped pyramid, where have we seen that before?

I dare someone local to go and draw an eye in the gap.

Good idea, looks like cement filling.

Someone here from Cologne? With a long ladder and/or a camera?

Wow, so you are close to Cologne? Would be great if you were able to take some pictures.

rofl. if i want to know whats in this pyramid stuff, they will see me as a nazi, i bet. i do not have a ladder rofl.

they wouldnt assume that i am only curious, so what i can do is only making photos and try to ask an employee what this thingie is made of and why there is a grave of a New York Jew Woman there (born as Rothschield). Ill try to zoom they "Eye" of the pyramid but i think this is just stupid stone or something.

Some of these are covert satanic sculptures

humans only get like that due to satanism, and it also smacks of revelation of the method

Philadelphia Holocaust Memorial

Philadelphia Holocaust memorial, 17th and Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia, PA. erected in 1964. Architect is Nathan Rapoport, who also built the Memorial to the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising in Warsaw, Poland, a similar monument at Yad VaShem in Jerusalem, and an American monument in Jersey City, NJ to the American Liberators of the Concentration camps. The image of the monument is the victims of the Holocaust in a vertical ring of fire. Details show aspects of the monument, which becomes very abstract in sun-light.

By Nathan Rapoport
