Default Questions about tap water

Here is my question (again).
I have asked it 2 or 3 times already, but you haven't replied, so I thought I would create a thread about it, and add a couple of more questions.

As you are supposedly so well-versed in 'science'-related data, and so-called 'proof from reliable sources', let us all know your answer to this question:-

Tap water...

Science (and official health sources/health bosses/health chiefs/all the other bullshit titles) tell us it's perfectly safe for us to drink tap water.

The chlorine, the fluoride, the countless other chemicals and bacteria contained within it are supposedly harmless, and even beneficial (toxic fluoride good for teeth we are told).

So, do YOU drink tap water on the basis of this so-called-reliable-offical-data (given to us by the water utilities reports and so-called 'health experts' and 'health bosses') ????

Or

Do you use a filter for your drinking water ?

If you do use a filter.....why ?....If science and official sources are so reliable ?

Or

Do you drink bottled water ?

If so, why ? If science and official sources are so reliable ?

Or do you drink a combination of the above ?

If so, what combination, and why ?

Last but not least, do you believe the 'official sources' data of tap water being totally safe for people to drink.

Thanks in advance.

Niiice.

I think you've got him with this one.

One of my old friends form college trusts the tap water, but still uses a filter. I asked him why and he gave the following excuse:

"It tastes better."

Well, if it tastes better filtered, isn't that an indication that there's something in it that your body was designed to reject?

I only drink filtered or bottled water.
Tap water is contaminated with Estrogen, fluoride, aluminium, and much else.

If you forced me to drink it i would rather drink your piss than tap water.
Sorry that sounds bad doesnt it?

Good thread, check out my POISONED WATER!!! Thread in the alternative healing section...

I am very sensitive to everything that I put in my body and from first taste of the tap water that was newly connecting to a city water source rather than a well I knew it was poison for me. I refuse to drink it, I don't care if I slowly die without it. There's no way I will drink their poisoned water, I do not trust them one bit. Can't afford constant supply of bottled water either.

i drink bottle water, but i'm suspiscious of it too, has anybody ever tested that, i was watching a judge show a while back in which they tested bottled water and it was shown to be just as bad or worst than tap water, but this was tv so who knows if that was true or not, and i hear most filters do not remove flouride

i'm moving to the country soon and plan on getting my own well, so i'm really happy about that.

Distilling your water is the only way to make it pure, only drawback is that the water becomes quite acidic with the minerals removed.

A friend told me that the chlorine evaporates when the water is boiled, for example to make tea from tapwater. so he uses it for tea, soup while drinking only mineral water otherwise.

Does the chlorine evaporate and leave the water when boiled ?

Distilled water in my opinion is not good to drink because i think it will leech minerals from your body.
I drink reverse osmosis filtered water which then passes through a calcite feeder to restore some minerals to make it alkaline and taste better.
distilled doesnt taste good.

The best bottled water on sale widely is SAKA
forget all that volvic and evian because most mainstream water is bad, containing nitrates, phosphates and very often is acidic.
Hildon which is sold in restuarants is actually only 6.0 meaning it is acid.

About 3 years ago I started adding (natural) concentrated mineral drops to super-purified water. The drops also contained many trace elements which have been drained from over-cultivated soils. So, instead of looking for the ideal mineral water, this is a cheaper and even a better solution in my opinion. Why ? Because, after adding these drops I craved drinking water, the water 'tasted' so good which means the body craved the minerals.

i don't know - all the shops use the same filters in northern california, it seems - so there is not much choice unless you buy your own

u can then use the water for cooking as well as drinking

Simple distill water 42 times to get it absolutely pure.
pH 7 and no ions whatsoever. It won't even pass electricity!

Bloody hell 42 times that's a bit of a fuck on like lol so isn't distilling it once good enough

I was planning on getting a distiller but i'm gonna have to rethink everything now lol, and look about for an alternative that isn't out of my price bracket.

I would love one of those EcoloBlue Atmospheric Water Generators that are advertised on the infowars site, bit pricey like but sound like they get the job done for pure healthy water
